Yes, but you must appear for biometric. Be careful with those agent, they will make the application base on try your luck,when its ready for collection they will collect it and if eventually u were not issued the visa they will issue fake visa on your passport and then ask you to pay their balance fee. My advice for you is DON'T USE AGENT.

6 months bank statement ( only salary that goes into d account)
2 land documents
Hostel reservation for 10 days (£102)
Flight itinerary showing d cost of d flight ( medview airlines)
Son's birth certificate and photos with him.
Letter of explanation.

Same documents submitted for both applications.

The first application was 6 months and the second is 5 years and both were issued.

6 months and the visa expired first week of November 2017.

Applied for 6 months visa last year and was issued in May to expire in early November 2017. Travelled in May and spent just 10 days and went back to UK again in October to spend 2 weeks before the visa expired. Applied for 5 years visa January 24th 2018 visa was issued 3 weeks after.

Cus a friend of mine has issue paying for his UK visa through his Nigeria debit card cos they charge in dollar and cbn has directed all banks to stop international payment thru naira card.

You can pay with Gt bank naira debit card (ATM card) , I have paid 2 Uk visa fees with it last month and last week.

Has anyone been able to appeal their refusal successfully? I spoke with an immigration lawyer about our refusal and she thinks every document submitted is in check and we should appeal. She sounds optimistic. I'm giving it a try. Has anyone gone this route successfully?

I have not gone through the process but i have asked an immigration lawyer in Canada about someone can against visa denial and he said yes, it can be appealed in the high court.

No, u don't need to book appointment.

Apologies, it is not a form per say, you raise a CSE to enquire about your application if you feel it's taking longer than necessary.

This is their reply after filling CSE form.

Please I really need help in the house, I applied for a TRV since the 31st of July, I did paper application at the vfs office lekki. My traveling date and the program which I was invited will be taking place this month the 19th and I'm yet to hear anything from vfs nor the embassy. I'm a bit worried like what may be keeping my passport till date, is there anyone in the house having similar issues as mine. I have tried to link my application online but all to no avail, track my application on vfs website but says application processing at the Canadian embassy. Pls what can I do I really need urgent response pls.

I submitted an application online since June 16th, yet no response. Today makes it 4 months, 2 weeks and stil counting. I hail for Canada.

The question is How much is available for YOUR STAY IN CANADA? This is d cost of your accommodation, feeding and other expenses like bus ticket, etc while in Canada. it excludes your flight from Naija to Canada.

same response i got,but how comes some people that order in which they recieve was not used cos some who applied even in August have gotten response and got approved.

I don't understand the order they are talking about oo, many applicant that applied in August and September have gotten their reply back and yet they are talking of order.

I applied June 16th online and no update till now, i wrote the embassy complaining that my application has passed the normal processing time of 102 days. below is their response:

We continue to process applications as quickly as possible in the order they were received.

Hello, gurus in the house, please I need your help on this one. my paper application was linked online.

Got a msg from donotreply@cic.gc.ca on 17/11/2017 to check my application status i.e decision made.
Waited for couple of weeks, but didn't hear from VFS to come for my document.

Thus sent VFS an email with my details in respect to my documents, but got this reply...
"Kindly be informed that your application is not ready yet for collection; it is still under processing at the embassy."

Note: this is the 5th week after getting a message from @cics.gc.ca that a decision as bn made on my application.

Please what do you suggest I do? Thanks you.

U got that msg on 17/11/2017 (November 17th,2017) while today's date is October 16th, 2017?

i too applied July 6th and up till now nothing..however i just checked cic website..they have updated processing time for Nigeria to 101 days as against initial 99 days.Soon it will reach 365 days to process visit visa.

I even saw 102days yesterday, it will be b changed to 365days.lol

my family applied for a tourist visa in lagos and we received a mail that the application has been sent to the canada visa office since 20th july 2017, however, as at today, i havent heard any response from them. i keep tracking the visa but i get this response " visa application is still being processed at the canada visa office". pls what can i do in this situation? is it also possible for me to walk in to VFS office in lekki to confirm if the visa is ready? cc. justwise and other travel gurus

It seems this Canadian embassy don't follow their time frame of processing...Submitted online application 5th July 2017 and did biometrics 13th July and i am reading of people who submitted August 5th being answered.Still wondering what they jump dates.

my friend's mother submitted her application via paper root on June 23rd and got a mail today September 20th that her processed application has been dispatched, hopefully she will get her passport on Thursday or Friday because she paid for courier services.

...Sorry about that .... Nothing like appealing but to reapply... People with Yankee visas get denied as well... these guys are hard to read... U can reapply few months down the line and plead ur case about the initial refusal in a sound letter...

There something like appeal or there is appeal, i have discussed this issue with a well known immigration lawyer in Toronto and he said they can appeal against their decision.

Almost all the embassies here plays tricks on Nigerians yet our government does nothing about it. The canadian embassies returned almost all my documents back to me without the visa. Reason being travel history, financial status and purpose of stay. I just laughed at them and now i can appeal agajnst them to any level if i see the means. For financial status i submitted my Gtbank statement of about 5m plus. For travel history. I just returned from uk this 2nd June , stayed for seven days. Been to Italy, Kenya, Ethoippia, Georgia, Qatar. My purpose of stay is vacation. Pls i need to appeal against this nonsense decision. I will not aplly at that embassy again via paper route. The fools there are hungry and wicked

This is one bad thing about Canada Embassy, they are just denying visas for no good reasons, I did one application online for someone since june 16th and im yet to get d reply, meanwhile i am ready to appeal if they deny the application because the only reason they will state is same as yours, the person has been to UK, has about N3M salary account statement, going for vacation and UK visa is still​ valid. I base in Canada so i have already contacted an immigration lawyer here incase d visa is denied for those useless reason that they always give and he said they can appeal against that decision. we are waiting for them.
