davide470: You are allowed does not mean you should, except you are willing to wait and not complain. Applying 4 weeks to your travel date is also absolutely fine. The normal processing time is 3 weeks and before now, I have never done or seen any France tourist application that has exceeded 3 weeks and some days. In any application I do, I always submit 3 months to the travel dates for UK Visa application which is d maximum time allowed and 10 weeks to d travel date for France Visa which is also d maximum time allowed to submit an application. I always do this to make sure d application is decided before d travel date and also, incase the Visa is refused due to the officer error, I ll address that error and immediately make a fresh application with d same travel date that was initially stated. I submitted and application since on July 10th which was suppose to be out within 3 weeks but it's over 6 weeks now and it's not out but I'm not worried because I gave enough time for d application to be treated. If i had applied with d mind of d normal processing time of 3 weeks, i would ve applied like 5 weeks to the travel date and by now i would ve been very worried. So for u to say " That's way too far apart]." is wrong. |

davide470: Why did you apply for a visa in July when your travel date is October? That's way too far apart.
I am not a prophet of doom but you might get your passport either mid or late September. Most times, there are exceptions for very frequent travellers who get their passport within 2 weeks of application. Applicants are allowed to submit their application 10 weeks to their travel date. So if its within that 10 weeks, it's not to far apart. |

Innopre983: Good evening house. Please I am asking this question for my younger sister. She wants to travel to UK on visit for 10 days with her daughter. Her husband is going to write a consent letter for her to take the child along. My question is this..... Is it compulsory for the husband to attach his international passport page with the consent letter or the consent letter alone is enough because her husband doesn't have international passport yet. Thank you. He must attach copy of his identity which could be either passport data page, driver's license or National identity card. Just one among above mentioned three. |

bigtt76: Exactly. In some cases where you claim to have a host in the UK, that host is called how much more a hotel you claimed to have booked ...people shaa You still don't get. Its a very smart move, when you cancel that cheap booking after the application is out, it doesn't mean you will not book another hotel of your choice at any cost when travelling. I know quite alright that at the POE they always confirm your hotel booking which can lead to deportation if its canceled or fake. Let me put it this way, at the time of making an application, u ll see BA flight for £1400, Royal airmaroc £600. Expensive hotel for £700, cheap hostel for £140. BA flight and expensive hotel= £2,100 Royal airmaroc and cheap hostel= £740 If you decide to go with BA flight + expensive hotel + living expenses = more than £2,500 when making your application even if you can afford it, this is on the higher side which the ECO can use that against you by saying the total cost of your trip is 5 times over your monthly disposable income. But when you go with Royal airmaroc + hostel + living expenses = less dan £1,500. Getting your application approved with proof of cheaper flight and hostel does not mean that you must travel with that same cheaper flight and stay at that cheap hostel. You can book your BA flight and expensive hotel to make your trip if you know you can afford it. |

seyisanya: I gat you bro. You booked the accommodation to reduce your estimated travel cost, then you probably cancelled it after you got the visa. Wise move... Thats d koko, when monkey learn how to jump, hunter go learn how to shoot more. |

I was advised to reapply when my situation changes Please I will need a professional advice on next step to take.... How soon can I reaaply again as the same program is coming up by November 2019? How can I treat the issue of travel History? please house I will really appreciate your sincere opinions.Thank you so much and God bless... Apply for your GCMS note first, to know the real reason your were refused. |

justwise: They do and it's an added advantage, not that you can't get a visa without one. I disagree with u on this. If an applicant with virgin passport has a good paying job, family ties and provide all the necessary requirements without travel history, they will issue the visa unlike US and Canada that deny applicant because of travel history even with good paying job and family ties. |
