I applied since March 28 and I got request for passport yesterday. I have roughly a year left on my passport. Since Canada grants length of passport validity. My question is Can I get a new passport for the submission?

The validity of ur visa has already been issued, check ur account online u ll see the duration of d visa that was approved

I just got a mail from the UK now that my application has been concluded and would be despatch soon. Surprisingly, they never called the person who sent me the invitation or my organization to confirm if documents emanated from him. This is very odd. Does this imply a denial ?

I did the application for someone who is a single mother.
Documents submitted are;
Employment letter.
Annual leave letter.
Introduction letter from company.
3 months payslips.
3 months bank statement.
Company's id card.
3 landed properties (deed of conveyance).
Evidence of monthly childcare support from child's father (3 months bank tranfer receipt).
Child's birth certificate.
Hostel reservation.
Travel insurance valid for 1 month.
Flight itinerary.
Cover letter.
Copies of used SA visa (expired in 2016).
Copy of used 6 months UK visa (expired in 2019).
Copy of unused newly issued 5 years UK visa (valid from 2019).

As a US permanent resident, I did not need a VISA to visit Canada, All I did was pay about $30 at the airport and an ETS was printed for me.

I guess it will be same thing for a person who has a Canadian permanent residence while visiting US

A Canadian PR holder need visa to enter US, they issue 10 years visa to Canadian PR holder when the visa is approved.

Recieved collection email yesterday July 3rd, passport collected today with 3 months multiple visa issued after applying with 1 month insurance.

I picked up my passport today after three weeks of biometric.

I was almost sure I wasn't gonna get my visa, because I made an unpardonable mistake on my application.

I even wrote to them my cancel my application and was atold a decision had been reached already.

Was shocked to see visa approved.

These days they routinely ask some applicants for up to one year bank statements.

The maximum bank statement any embassy can request for is 6 months. Canada requires 4 months bank statement, they have never requested for 1 year bank statement.

Let me come out plain, I used an agent, on my first passport Dat has expired, he stamped fake US visa on it but he only submit the photocopy of the fake US visa page. So in the online application form he said have never been denied visa which is also a lie, cos v been denied us visa 3 times. However, th white paper Dat is always put in front of passport during the US visa Interview was peal of but not neatly done. But sincerely I saw all this on the day of submission cos he handed all documents to me on the submission day.
I accept the total blame but please what can I do now. Also I think am lucky my passport was not seized but I don't know if v been banned. Pls what can I do

Im sorry i didnt come back to give the testimony. I got the collection mail a day or 2 after I complained here and 5 years visa was granted after the initial 6 months that was issued in November 2018.
