Many always forget that a bull market happens because many people are not selling and more people are buying. The opposite for the bear market, many are selling and few are buying. This stuff is all about being emotionally balanced and having a plan.
So?

Lol. NSE dissapointed people this year now. grin
Imagine good results with no effect on share prices. Its that bad.
Seems joining bonanza gang is the sure thing now. smiley
Oga chibuking81, lets roll out forms o. grin
Disappointment? On top all that early year bonus? Well, I guess greed got the better part of most of us. I hope we have all learnt our lessons.

Funny enough, this scenario will most likely repeat itself next year and many will still stay back and watch their profit get eroded.

U are even talking of 2 naira sir when Vetiva deceived a lot of people to even buy at 3 naira thinking it will go to the moon.
Why would anyone blame Vetiva? Vetiva is in this business to make money. Everyone on his/her own..... Why would one believe Transcorp was headed for the moon when Vetiva made those recommendations? We have to be realistic most times. There are stocks you can always predict their movement. Transcorp is one of them. After all euphoria, they always head back to around it's current position. Transcorp will still take off again. I believe they have packaged their proposed oil exploration as the next catalyst and after a couple of months, will still return to it's rightful position.

It's unaudited
FCMB stated on their website that the group's result will be unaudited but the bank will be audited. Unless this was changed later. Let me go and peep at the result self.

But CP, on strength of this result alone, fidelity is still cheaper than fcmb. Eps for fidelity is .62 fcmb. 57. They are both cheaper than any other bank on NSE.
Congrats FCMB, nice result.
CP is looking at FY. FCMB bank is audited and impairment provision made up to Q3. Fidelity might disclose their own impairment by FY (unless Fidelity's Q3 is also audited).

They have already recouped their investments in the bank. They are also sure that no one will prosecute them. I think it was time CBN allowed some banks to go down. It will reshape the sense of everyone.
Don't be so sure that they have recouped their investment in the bank and have nothing more to gain, else they wouldn't be fighting tooth and nail to hold on to control. Most times, people recoup only to turn around and reinvest.

I don't think they will entirely want the bank to go down. I doubt! That's Paschal's legacy.

I wasn't trying to distract you and I promise not to talk about DBN if it's a distraction to you. I know you are on top your game. Well done...

Opportunities never get finished. It's a cycle. Whenever you wake up, that's your morning!

BTW, if we all stop talking about DBN, a newbie might come on board and jump in. Wouldn't that be a disservice to the newbie?

Diamond is 73k 76k now. 2.4M bid against 14M offer.
If it gets to 30k, maybe I might get a seat (with funds I can afford to loose though, so that I can beat my chest one day and say that I once bought DBN at 30k). I might also change my mind and use the funds for a betnaija game. I might have more guarantee playing betnaija than having hopes on DBN.

It will be the one of most undervalued stock on the NSE.
Most undervalued stock in terms of their present loss position or the huge debt they have??

You could say that the stock is a highly speculative stock in the sense that it's usually FPI's toast and they will rush such stock whenever they return to the market. Other than that and going by what they presently face, it's a NO NO. Going into WAPCO is a gamble and we better know that before diving in.

Am also very much interested in this stock and have been following the movement daily for a while now.

Considering developments in the company and strategies to drive expansion and growth, we foresee a higher earnings power at the end of 2018 that would drive the price and offer dividend to shareholders in the coming years.
The stock is currently selling at 42 kobo, indicating a huge intrinsic value for discerning investors, especially considering that the Book Value is currently N1.26 per share, while Price/Book Value of 0.38. This means that investors are paying less for the company’s intrinsic value.

With the progress recorded in recent years and the first quarter 2018 earnings report, there is an indication that the company would beat its earnings forecast for 2018. This is based on the fact that government at federal and state levels are eager to concentrate efforts on improving the nation’s health care system.
The current Book Value at N1.26 per share and profit margin of 22.42% signify that the stock is undervalued, just as its Net Profit Margin of 22%, indicates that from every Naira generated from sales, 22 kobo is retained as profit.

If the above report is TRUE
then their shareholders should be ready to kill cow and cook new soup come July 2019. cool

GonFreecss1:
But it's what I have always told people. If you were happy buying something at 1 naira, you should be happier x 2 to buy more at 50 kobo. If you are scared to buy, then it means you are not confident in the valuation you did to buy at 1 naira, it also means you have no confidence in that company again or it's ability to do better than now. My recommendation for anyone in this situation is to sell, because your holding it is only dependent on hope, and this is something I have learnt the hard way, hope is not a strategy. Guessing that something will be better is not a strategy.

I feel many here do guesswork and don't screen this companies enough. Why do people get MBA's? CFA's? Higher degrees? Why do people learn communication skills? Interview skills? Why do companies screen people to get the best ones to pick? Why don't people behave like that when picking this assets in return? Companies see their people as assets, and go to lengths to screen them, you should do the same too when you want to pick them as assets. Give them your own exams to write, your own interviews. Satisfy yourself and get that intrinsic value. If I wanted my company to be the best, would I allow all my workers to be given to me with just recommendations? Wouldn't the wise thing to do be to test them with things similar to the actual job?

I want to say more... I honestly do, but I will leave it at this for now.
Anybody can fall mugu in this our market. Leave all these turenchi. It takes a second only for all those valuations to turn sour!.

The question here is knowing when to count your losses and run.
