PoliticsRe: Court Sacks PDP House Of Reps Member by mensdept: 3:49pm On Jun 26, 2015

The judiciary .......... The last hope ......
Not so fast. There's one thing to not be the "actual" candidate during an election, and another to contest the election.

So in the case of Anambra state, after Ngige plotted to rig state elections, the Courts threw him out and installed Peter Obi (WHO CONTESTED) as governor. Then in Rivers (for unusual reasons) they said the promising Omehia was not rightful PDP "candidate", and instead installed someone who never contested state election Amaechi (and we have seen how that ended after 8 years of dancing).

So, if the House person was not candidate, then a new election should be called, or the political party disqualified and the runner-up is sworn in, not installing people that NOBODY voted for.

16 years and we still don't know how to reason in this "democratic process"
PoliticsRe: Open Letter To All Ibo Clamouring For Biafra by mensdept: 3:43pm On Jun 26, 2015
xordik:
“I asked myself: “Do the Igbo actually
need Biafra now?” The answer was:
“No, you don’t.” “Imagine there is a country called
Biafra. Where are you going to start
from? How much will Biafra pound be to
dollar? Who will be the leader of
Biafra?”–“You better see urselves with Yorubas,
Hausas nd other ethnic groups in this
country as 1 Nigeria. But if u pple still think that is d best option then plz gladgly make it fast cos we are tired of all ur noise- 2 all ibo who clearly can read btw d lines itz better warn ur fellow kinsem-u pple are on a path of self destruction..fore warned is fore harmed
But how much is the naira worth now? Or a Nigerian passport? Why are so many people, including Yoruba running to America to give birth to not just one but all their children? Look at all the new "governors", they don't even know where to start from with empty treasury, and Boko Haram still killing for 5 years straight.

After 16 year of democracy legislators are exchanging blows left and right, and Nigerians brought back a coup plotter from the 1980s to be their president. Are we not serious at all
PoliticsRe: Is Buhari Really Confused? by mensdept: 4:47am On Jun 26, 2015
adelcole:
Rollingdollar writes.
Buhari appears confused. He fixed meeting with Speaker, it did not hold. He said ALL military check point should be dismantled, the military chiefs said NO sir, crucial check points must remain. He said he will NOT interfere with election of NASS officials, then he decided to interfere at the worst time(on Inauguration Day ) His has NOT articulated the policy direction of his government. From the above and lots more, I conclude that Buhari is confused and overwhelmed, and this is not good for Nigeria
Maybe that's how things were done in 1983. After all, since then, we still haven't been able to have steady power supply or even peace in this country, so IBB should also come back in 2019 so we can say "Change continued"
PoliticsRe: Do You Regret Voting APC? by mensdept: 4:44am On Jun 26, 2015
obailala:
Let me borrow a phrase which we constantly used in 2011, "I voted Buhari and not APC.".. and I absolutely have no regrets whatsoever. The CHANGE we voted for was for Buhari and not APC. Afterall the so called APC is made up of 90% ex-PDP so what are we not talking about?
Even from what we all know about GEJ's mismanagement of the nation and with the little revelations so far on the filth in his government, it still shocks me to my bones that there are still homosapiens who still think GEJ would have been a better option for Nigeria till 2019. Tufiakwa!
See how stupid some people are? SO you knew Buhari's party is still "PDP" and instead of using the brain your creator gave you to consider other credible candidates, you went with the herd and voted for a coupist in his 70s to lead you in 2015 and beyond, and you think 9ja can change?

No wonder the British were able to colonize this place, give this place its name and identity, and still rule without end, because you folks are indeed animals.
PoliticsRe: Rochas Okorocha Looking For Who To Probe by mensdept: 4:35am On Jun 26, 2015
Nonsense, he's a rogue just like the rest. They used peoples money, that is, state funds, to be flying all over the place to "campaign" for army coups, thieves for the legislature, and re-elections themselves. Why won't the states all be broke
PoliticsRe: President Approves Appointment Of Account-general Of The Federation by mensdept: 12:59am On Jun 26, 2015

PoliticsRe: Wike Restores Omeha’s Rights As Former Governor by mensdept: 12:57am On Jun 26, 2015
Omehia as governor for 8 years would have been better than the clown called Amaechi that the SC by fiat put (perhaps because Omehia started to do the right things immediately, including trying to unite the East economically).

Anyway, there are ways to go about things, and this one is not really necessary.
PoliticsRe: Breaking: House Of Reps In Chaos, As Saraki Names Senate Leadership by mensdept: 12:54am On Jun 26, 2015
You see why there cannot be progress? See the touts in we have as governors and legislators, fighting as if we just started this democracy.

Is this because of Biafra or South South?

Nonsense
PoliticsRe: Benue Lawmakers Engaged in fist fight + APC senate memebers in near fist fights by mensdept: 1:57pm On Jun 24, 2015
If these guys can be violent, and coup plotters like Buhari can make a career from coups, then why can't Nigerians have their revolution instead of flocking to redeemed and winners?

PoliticsRe: Aba Mega Mall Eye Dry Port, 5 Star Hotel Others by mensdept: 12:54am On Jun 24, 2015
Blah blah blah.

Orji Kalu said in 2003 he will bring Dry Port? But last I checked he is having airline company and personal business left and right. Then one late senator that just passed said he'll bring cargo airport, an dog course the fool of fools that got rigged in -Theo Orji, who didn't promise anything, did nothing for 8 years
PoliticsRe: Video: Benue Lawmakers Fight Over House by mensdept: 12:52am On Jun 24, 2015
This is why we need to scrap all these states. No need to have 36 drawings on the map, because you will have and continue to have touts. But then again, the military thugs that overthrew governments, including Buhari, wanted this to make things easier when it comes to ruling una
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Vs Theodore Orji: Who Is The Worst Governor Of All Time? by mensdept: 12:50am On Jun 24, 2015
Is the OP on drugs? First of all Obi actually won his election, only to be robbed by the jokester Ngige, which not only cost Anambra/APGA the governor house, but national and state assembly seats as they rigged the whole thing.

2nd, Theo Orji was in jail be EFCC on election night 2007, yet he "won" his election, and for 8 years did nothing, similar to the 80 year old Elechi.

3rd, the only federal presence in Abia state is on election day, where a whole governor can storm INEC office and rigg the election for his preferred candidate, and have everyone turn around and congratulate him as the first "Ngwa" governor.

Nonsense
PoliticsRe: Nigerian States Owe $3.3 Bln by mensdept: 12:44am On Jun 24, 2015
Are those governors not rogues. Didn't we see them 2 years ago on Youtbe at one meeting looking like touts? Yet some of them have smuggled themselves back for another 4 years, others into the Senate, still others wanting to be ministers of the federation.

There needs to be violence
PoliticsRe: Buhari Has No Answer To Nigeria's Problems — Balarabe Musa by mensdept: 1:34pm On Jun 23, 2015
Of course there needs to be a revolution. How can Britain that gave us our identity "dash us" independence and we think the country will improve like that?

The only true patriots in this country are people like OBJ, IBB, Buhari, etc, patriots in the sense that they overthrew governments or were part of clicks that killed and bombed people, and refused to allow any outsider to become president (AKA Abiola, Awolowo, Ekwueme, etc).

These guys are "Nigerians" because only they carried and used the gun, not the people, hence, the mum nature of the country
PoliticsRe: President Buhari & Oyegun Unhappy As 7 APC Members Demands Ministerial Positions by mensdept: 1:29pm On Jun 23, 2015
oscarjulliet:
the slogan 'Biafra' is only embrase by illiterates among south east pple.
Of all the problems in Nigeria, this is the only thing on some people's mind. Eradicate something that does not exist, or shout at people that are not bombing Maiduguri every second.

One person with a brain of a 2 year old said MEND and Boko Haram can "easily be dealt" with but "Biafra was the main threat". LOL

You see, this country and the people are not serious. Poor priorities and the love for Military coupist (aka Buhari), million dollar churches like Redeemed and Winners, EPL, and jokes.

No wonder after 50 years, there is still no light in Queen Eliza's Ni..gger Area
PoliticsRe: Igbo Should Learn From South-west Politics — Sen. Eriobuna by mensdept: 3:47pm On Jun 21, 2015
Igbo have to exercise common sense. They actually had/have a partying APGA, and instead of ensuring they are strong there, they divided themselves (thanks to the very useless Umeh) decamped, and could not even make it a strong regional party attractive to be seemed for a merger.

Ojukwu said it as he has always had foresight, "it is better to be a majority in a minority party than a minority in a majority party"
PoliticsRe: America ; One Country, Different Standards ..... Pictures. by mensdept: 3:37pm On Jun 21, 2015
America is still where una dey cue to come give birth or run away to. At least he will stand trial, unlike IBB and a long list of criminals and coupist that are celebrated and brought back to government house (GMB) to do the same things they did in the 1980s
PoliticsRe: Those Calling For Ekweremadu’s Resignation Are Our Enemies – Igbo Groups by mensdept: 3:35pm On Jun 21, 2015
Ekweremadu hurting Igbo? Yeah right.

PDP is what has been destroying the East, and now APC will take over with their islamist bombing calabar selves.

Nonsense
PoliticsRe: Why I Delayed The Appointment Of Ministers - Buhari (1984) NY Times ‎ by mensdept: 3:25pm On Jun 20, 2015
You see, 1984 we are talking, and clueless Nigerians wanted this coup plotter from the 80s to come back today. Una no get shame?
PoliticsRe: 5 Reasons Buhari Is Bombing Christians But Not Muslims by mensdept: 3:23pm On Jun 20, 2015
TippyTop:
These are the 5 reasons Buhari is bombing Calabar.
1. Islamisation Agenda
2.To control our resources
3.To install puppets as governors
4.To expand Northern influence
5.For Oil bloc
But this is nothing surprising or new? When you bring back the same old leaders over and over, you get the same results, especially when you know they were coup plotters.

No cabinet, no agenda, no change, except back to quasi-military rule.

Thanks Usman Dan Fodio, your book the Arabs borrowed you will be dipped into the Sea at Lagos, Sapele, and Calabar
PoliticsRe: Speaker Yakubu Dogara Visits Bauchi (photos) by mensdept: 3:21pm On Jun 20, 2015
This is the change right? Back to the same Islamic emirs that haven't done what those they want to copy ( Arabs) have been able to do to advocate for development i.e. Saudi Arabia, Dubai,
PoliticsRe: Buhari Calls Boko Haram His Brothers Despite Recent Killings by mensdept: 3:19pm On Jun 20, 2015
Funny enough I don't blame the old coup plotter. You know it was actually southerners who carried the Bring back our girls so much, even southern Nollywood actresses like Patience Ozorkwor. Meanwhile the Kano film fools didn't say nothing, but came to take pictures with their grandpa Buhari.

Or is it Okorocha and Amaechi, who started off with dazzle, then forgot who they were or where they came from, or the mandate of their people, to go and tie scarf and dance for Islamist.

Now the cloud has settled, and next, Port Harcourt will be bombed, and rightfully so
