adamskutty:At least you are in the mood of confessing. Surely you would confess that a white lepa woman gave you and your mumsi your identity, being as black as you are, or in other words a Ni.gga, from the N.igga area, hence Nigeria. No wonder there is not constant light for una village. Guess who gave England her name? Guess who gave Nigeria her name, even put her together? Where's the common sense |
GodsMercy1:But the Delta gov bagged the best governor aware last week abi? |
Shirley07:I think you need to go and read your book Yoruba boy. The truth is many Yoruba feel their own leaders truly betrayed the Southern Coalition that for the last 16 years actually made some progress. But of course, like during Awolowo days,Tinubu and his click saw an opportunity and they seized it, even if it meant electing a grandpa coupist to come in when there were very able and tested guys that would have taken us into the future. |
And she should also add that no child should be forced to vote in a national election when they should be in school sef And that sharia law has no place in a secular society called Nigeria |
The problem is not the agitation for Biafra, that is not anything new. The problem with Ohaneze is they can't be promoting a brand new soccer stadium when the one they have and own is already dilapidated and on fire. I would have loved for Ohaneze to really grow balls and have a real backbone by calling on the ousting of Theo Orji and the 80 year old Elechi (among others) from government house siiiiiiiiiiiiince!!! I would have loved for major protest in each Eastern state capital and recalls on the sinators/legislooters/ for not doing anything for some 4, 8, even 16 years, led by Ohaneze Ndigbo. So instead, they were there and are still there asking for additional state like a bunch of primary school children, when the states they already have are run down, have the worse animals known to man parading as governors, no international airport, stadium, modern university, highway system, business district, etc., yet are calling for Biafra if Buhari this and that. Buhari who stopped their progress in a coup in 1983, and now is back in his old age pretending to be reformed. Nonsense |
@ OP. I commend you for raising up great points, but honestly, there are so many solutions that have been advised time and time again, both at state/ regional/tribal levels to national levels. There have even been two quasi national conferences in which further great proposals (apart from Aburi in 1966) were made during this 16 years of "democracy" But guess what? They were all shelved, and nothing happened. Casual observations: Look at the last election that had to be postponed and even the little mallam juniors voting in broad day light for Buhari- or is it in Abia that obvious rigging denied Apga senatorial and even governor position for the worse party (PDP) in the state? We have been militarized and know nothing but mediocre ways of doing things, as long as we survive and sit at high table for peers to see, we are contempt. From the slave name Nigeria, to the acceptance of an old grandpa militant as presido-elect, you can't be surprised. |
DelticStephEn:Me, Vex, lie lie. What you said wasn't much at all. Next topic |
No embassy, just an association as one poster stated. Nevertheless good awareness but still no real coordination |
Was this guy even supposed to be governor? Why the SC ruled for Omehia to comot in 2007 still is unclear, but then again, they saw what we are seeing now, a weak East and the maintenance of the status quo |
DelticStephEn:your reasoninGZ & points are. POINTLESS Please spell check |
It should not only be hell, but before them the guillotine, starting with Theo Orji, and then Gbenga Daniel. |
Akokwa123:Blah Blah Blah. Imo state is not any better today than when Udenwa was ruling. This is a fact and is a shame |
nduchucks:The issue is not land mass or global warming or anything like that. The problem really is the current leadership in Eastern Nigeria, that with the exception of Akwa Ibom, is a hot mess, with thugs, looters, and criminals parading as governors and senators. |
sethken:This is what happens when the same military baboons are supported to come back to be "president". This cannot happen in serious nations, but in Nigeria, anything goes, and people will be saying "Lets see what he will do" Seriously |
yomanovic:And APC is also a sectional party parading coupist and Islamist. |
The whole notion and call for Biafra is and will always be good and right for Africa to progress on their own terms. Its too bad we are still answering a slave name given to us by the girlfriend of lord luggard, yet we say we are people that do naming ceremonies and even keep the names of pikin' secret for 7 days. (are we not hypocrites) BUT There are no real and tangible structures in the East for this Biafra to really take effect? What structures are in Abia State, where the whole state has stood for 16 years and allowed quacks to govern them- even allowing the worse governor in Black Africa to smuggle himself into the senate? The people are too local in the state Or is it Ebonyi, where an 80 something was just pretending to govern for a wasteful 8 years? Just saying |
ChimaAdeoye:This one is clearly the people of nigeria's fault. To take a grandfather who came to limelight because of several coups, and rebrand him as a "Democrat" in 2015, was and is astonishing, proving that blacks are indeed not to be taken seriously. Funny enough he has been receiving ambassadors, visitors left and right, but what of the situation in South Africa, borrowed from his regimes page about 30 years ago? The clerics are crazy, the so-called traditional rulers that should all be dethroned and abolished are mad, and we the people, have also gone mad with lack of common sense |
omicron:I hope you are not a "delta" in the sense of being from Delta state. With nothing for 8 years, Uduaghan bagged the best governor award recently |
Ameachi? Among the first to break ranks with the East/South in preference of an old man who was a coupist. Then used and dumped by Tinubu and his Fulani business partners And now, no where. |
They need to slash the number of states and number of stupid senators and legislators, beginning with the useless Abia state and senate-elect Orji. If not, these rogues will continue to destroy this part of the world and the people are too local to do anything about it |
Its sad, but look at the country, poor hospitals, and poor governors and senators, even in the very Anambra state. Too bad |
Thieves and more thieves. Well, Naija people and Africans at large deserve it. It was from Buhari's regime that those in South Africa copied by booting out "non-indigenes". Shame on black people |
cholesterol problems. Soon they will look at how to go abroad to even "give birth" |
Copy copy Yahoo. |
Blah Blah. Those countries only rich on paper or rather, for their former colonial masters who continue to Buhari-ized them |
Incredible. We are still being ruled by the same folks year in year out. Now in May we'll hand over to a former 3 time coup plotter |
Princecalm:Which kin hard work? |
Coupist in the making |
Um, these are okay, but in 2015, there needs to be world class attractions. But with Theo Orji now as senator and PDP in Abia, Enugu, and the likes, I doubt that |
Fools they are. Aiming for a "semi-final". As usual, we always want to patch patch in this country. |
See the armies of the former colonial masters doing the job in Africa!!! |
