Just watch... Mr. President and his VP will count this as a massive accomplishment. cool

Sweet, proof of funds is now 21 million for a Single person without dependent going to UK. That is if your school fees is cheap like Β£13000. You also add about Β£9300 to show as maintenance fund for you wellbeing during the period of your study.

in my opinion, I think if you intend to stay in Nigeria I think an MBA my be best, but if you intend to work outside Nigeria I think a social work postgraduate degree might be best especially if you have a specific sector you would like to work, like healthcare you can specialize in social work in public health care or something, but if you of course, have other career path like you want to work in a financial institution or something then an MBA is best overall it depends on your skill set and what your dreams are, what career path do you think you would love most and find fulfillment in?

Wow...you're amazing. I don't intend to stay in Nigeria forever and ever. Lol.

I love the health sector alot. I think social work it is then.

it depends on your future plans or career prospect, after having a first degree in social works, you can do an MBA program, I prefer you do an MBA after social works or you can have a degree also in project management whichever you choose a first degree in social works can set you up for diverse career path, especially outside Nigeria.

My first degree is in Political Science and Public Administration. I'm thinking of Master's in social work or MBA ...which is better?

FG Approves 114% Salary Increase For Tinubu, Shettima, Govs, Others
The Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has approved a 114 per cent increase in the salaries of elected politicians, including the President, vice…

The Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has approved a 114 per cent increase in the salaries of elected politicians, including the President, vice president, governors, lawmakers as well as judicial and public office holders.

RMAFC is saddled with the responsibility of determining the remuneration appropriate for political officeholders including the President, Vice President, Governors, Deputy Governors, Ministers, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Legislators and the holders of the offices as mentioned in Sections 84 and 124 of this Constitution.

The commission urged the 36 states’ Houses of Assembly to hasten efforts on amendment of relevant laws to give room for upward review of remuneration packages for political, judicial and public officers.

According to NAN, the RMAFC Chairman, Muhammadu Shehu, represented by a federal commissioner, Rakiya Tanko-Ayuba, made the call at the presentation of reports of the reviewed remuneration package to Kebbi State governor, Dr Nasir Idris, on Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi.

He said the implementation of the reviewed remuneration packages was effective from January 1, 2023, adding that the move was in accordance with the provision of paragraph 32(d) of part 1 of the Third Schedule of the 1999 constitution of the federal government (as amended).

He said the last remuneration review was conducted in 2007, noting that it culminated in the β€œcertain political, public and judicial office holders (salaries and allowances, etc) (Amendment) Act, 2008”.

Shehu said, β€œIt empowers the revenue mobilisation, allocation and fiscal commission to determine the remuneration appropriate for political office holders, including the president, vice-president, governors, deputy governors, ministers, commissioners, special advisers, legislators and the holders of the offices mentioned in sections 84 and 124 of the constitution of the federal government.

β€œSixteen years after the last review, it is imperative that the remuneration packages for the categories of the office holders mentioned in relevant sections of the 1999 constitution (as amended) should be reviewed.

β€œPursuant to the above, your excellency may please recall that on Wednesday, 1st February, 2023, the commission held a one-day zonal public hearing on the review of the remuneration package simultaneously in all the six (6) geo-political zones of the country. The aim of the exercise was to harvest inputs/ideas from a broad spectrum of stakeholders.”

He said the commission had objectively and subjectively reviewed the salary packages in the reports, adding that it adheres to the rules of equity and fairness, risk and responsibilities, national order of precedence among others.

β€œThe subjective criteria reflected the various expression by stakeholders through memoranda received, opinion expressed during the zonal public hearings and responses to questionnaires administered.

β€œThe objectives of the criteria were obtained from analysis of macro-economic variables particularly the Consumer Price Index (CPI),” he noted.

The chairman added that the commission was also guided by some principles, including equity and fairness; risk and responsibilities; national order of precedence; motivation and tenure of office.

Shehu said that having considered the impact of the review on the economy, the remuneration of the political, public and judicial office holders in the country was adjusted β€œupward by 114%.”

Anyway, I think it's a sign of good things to come, right? πŸ€”πŸ˜

Hi mercy87, I guess you've now confirmed the particular document that's being requested from you.
For the Statement of Comparability, apart from your degree certificate and transcript, our Nigerian WASSC/SSCE certificate should suffice for high school qualification evaluation, because it already displays the subjects and grades obtained in the exam. So you may want to put that explanation in the section for its transcript.
However, do well to enquire about this by messaging ENIC via your dashboard. Cheers.smiley

Thank you sir. Can I email you please?

I don't think this is normal because the official price is 300 naira per document since you are the one authenticating the certificates by yourself. But of you are doing it by proxy, then the price will be higher than the official price.

I went by myself. I don't know why they had to extort such exorbitant price from me.

Has anyone done letter of Comparability? Apart from degree, Did you provide secondary school transcript too?

They ask for secondary school transcript. It's WAEC I have and going to secondary school for transcript will take time. Will they accept WAEC certificate only?

I went to ministry of Education for authentication and they charged me ten thousand naira for 6 documents. 1000 per document making it 6000 for 6 documents then 500 per document to upload + 200 for printing. Is this normal? That cybercafΓ© is on the 6th floor.

Uzland:

Hi Mercy87, since the instruction says your high school and degree qualifications, you may need the Statement of Comparability because this is the service that can evaluate both high school and university qualifications. You have to confirm from the person requesting this if what is required of you is a Statement of Comparability or the English Proficiency Statement (Visas and Nationality Service). The two are for different purposes and have been explained extensively on this thread.

If it's the former, then you need your high school (WAEC/NECO/GCSE) certificate, your degree certificate and transcripts only. -> https://www.enic.org.uk
But if it's the latter, you'll need your degree (bachelor's/master's/PhD) certificate, transcript and a letter of English proficiency from your university. -> https://ecctis.com
You can also chat with Ecctis support team via the Message function on your dashboard and enquire if they can accept student copy of your transcript (they used to accept this in the past, provided all the pages were stamped and signed by your university authority). They may also ask you to get your university to send documents directly to them via documents@ecctis.com.
All the best.cheesy

Thank you sir. cheesy God bless you.
