Hello mama. My son was circumcised a week after his birth. I did not see the process while it was done but the tip of his pen*s had a ring that fell off by itself on the 5th day. We were told not to apply anything (the likes of penicillin, engine oil etc) which we adhered to. We just let hot/warm water rush down the place while bathing him. He never developed fever. The only thing given to him was paracetamol. He cried alot cos of the pain though but he is very fine now and the site is healing fast.
N.b he will be 3weeks on Wednesday.

My Birth Story
P. S *LONG POST ALERT*

I and my dear husband got married October 2015. We didn't see having children immediately as top priority, So we just left it to God. In August 2016, I felt I was pregnant but was still seeing my period(though very irregular) and all pt showed negative.
October 1st 2016 night,was about to go home from work when I felt a very sharp pain on one side of my lower abdomen. It was so severe that someone had to drive down to pick me home. I and hubby turned the night to prayer night cos we cldnt sleep as I was in serious pain. When day broke, went to the hospital, series of tests and scans were carried out and it was confirmed the pregnancy was ectopic and we were advised to evacuate it. Hmmmm. I and hubby can be stubborn at times when it comes to some spiritual matters sha.. We decided not to do it and watch what happens. On the exact date of our traditional marriage , the pain came back and I was rushed to the hospital. After much deliberation, the operation was done. A week later, which was our one year wedding
anniversary,went to the hospital to remove the stitches. What a way to mark one year anniversary *smiles*. But the amazing thing was that we weren't bothered despite what happened.We just kept our faith in God.
Few weeks later,we resumed kpekus. In January this year during one of the Sunday services, I was praying and it dawned in my spirit that the children were set to come. When we got home, discussed with my hubby abt it and he said he also had same feeling but didn't want to tell me yet.
We did not even know I had already taking in until I missed my period the following month.
I would say I had a very smooth pregnancy. I experienced MS between late 6th week to early 9th week and it was only at night I was disturbed.
Fast-forward to 34wks+5days. Strong contractions came, went to the hospital and was told it was pre-term labor. Sabultamol was given and it subsided.
26th September(38wks+1day), was feeling somehow at work but ignored it. Got home at night only to notice little discharge(spot). By 11pm/12, I started having contractions symptoms so decided to time it and noticed it was coming at certain intervals. To be sincere, I took it to be false labor cos of my previous encounter. I told dh about it and we concluded we would "branch" the hospital before going to work the next day.
When it was dawn, I reluctantly put the hospital bag in the car. On getting to the hospital, told the nurse I wanted to see the doctor.Becos I was looking normal, she asked if it was urgent or I could wait till they finished their morning devotion. I told her it was urgent cos I needed to go to work as well. She observed me and took my card to the doctor. I complained to the doctor and he decided to do V.E.. Lo and behold he told me I was 4cm dilated .Said I have to be admitted immediately cos I was already in labor. Went out to tell my husband and he was shocked as well. He decided to go alone and come back by 2pm which wld be 6hrs according to the doctor's calculation.
In less than an hour I had gotten to 6cm. I just called dh to come back. Membrane was ruptured at 8cm. By 11:30am or thereabout, I was fully dilated. Pushing was something else. After the second push, baby's head was seen but according to the nurse, the cord was tied round his neck so episiotomy was given and the baby came out at third push crying his lungs out.
Injections were given and the epis site was repaired.
In all, God is to be praised. People who saw me at home that morning didn't believe I had put to bed when I called them
God is Awesome and He is too faithful to fail.

My pregnancy was uneventful ,had a relatively free M.S period/ ish. Countdown to 36wks 1 day I went for a scan and was told baby weighed 3.09kg,huh??
I started an almost strictly vegetarian diet though doc assured me that food alone wasn't responsible,that, my hubbys family or mine must have seriously big body frames(Genetics).
Anyway,at 38wks 2days something just said 'babe pack your bags already!! Don't push this thing off again and say ' I still have time".Immediately, I obeyed packed and went off to make one all back hairstyle,this was on Friday. No signs of labour or anything ,only the normal baby movements.
At about 1.31am on Sunday,while sleeping I just felt water gush from my jajaina ,fast and furious! Heh! Na so?? I woke my hubby up ,infact I think he felt the liquid spread to his side. I stood up ,see water ehhhh! I just thanked God that I obeyed that instinct to pack my bags cos I don't know what would have happened in fact ,see confusion!My husband almost left the house with me in only boxers lol,he forgot his phones,I forgot antenatal card.
We drove that midnight oo to the hospital. When I was checked ,was already 3cm OK.4hrs later,6cm,good.4hrs later still 6cm .
Almighty Oxytocin was given ,Jesus!!! I was still forming strong woman, immediately I started rapping oo,I almost squeezed my husband's blokos cos I saw it as responsible for my present predicament.
Eventually ,after 10hrs ,was fully dilated was told to push,my people for 30mins,I was still pushing,the medical team could see babies head, oya come out fully na ,for where! I was already tired.Something just wasn't right.Doc still believed I could still push it out after all, just 2 wks back I was only 3.09kg.My hubby just said pls take baby out infact my mum was calling and saying pls do C.S ooo .
Na so we enter theatre ,I was still contracting ooo.Eventually,in less than 20mins,my oyinbo pepper baby was brought out ,EVERYONE shouted ! BIG BABY ooo ,no wonder! Madam ,how come eh,from 3.09kg to 3.95kg almost 4kg in 2 wks +?? And,we were expecting you a first timer to push that out?Baby would have been seriously distressed and who knows...
Hmmm in all ,I'm grateful to GOD,to Science ,to my Husbands insight,My Mums open-mindedness,My Medical team,My hospital facilities, the advice you wonderful mums give here that C.S is not a taboo or make you less of a woman. The after C.S pains self na Oba! @Moyosblog I feel you oo.
We are still at the hospital though but we are both A-OK. Everyone is happy,first Grandchild for both families.

Mamas ohhhh contraction is a bi.ch I swear. ��� this morning after peeing and coming out of the bathroom, I immediately felt like peeing again so I went to pee but this time it was small and I didn't even check the tissue after cleaning up. 5mins later I had this bad menstrual cramps for about 10mins and I called my gynaecologist and he told me to take sabutamol and sleep. Mamas please pray for me and my Lo because even though I'm eager to see my Lo I also want her to be termed first.

Pele teamie. But pls take the salbutamol. I havent finished mine sef..was given on Saturday when contraction hook me. I still haven't resumed at work,complete stay at home for now.
The Lord who has started the good things in our lives will bring it to perfection and we will all carry our lovely children to term in Jesus name.

I may not be experienced but I suggest you go to the hospital if it is not close by. Congrats in advance mama.

Seriously sis for now no other source of income o, but am thinking of going into whole sales recharge card for d main time cos I noticed no one is selling ard my area, people transport demselves out to get it DH already made enquiries but I no just get d explanation he's giving o, so thinking of going to a guy DAT print and make enquiries myself.

It's a good decision since no one is doing it there. But still, don't resign yet.
Pls make all the enquiries you can. Wholesale is different from Retail selling. You really need to strategize...not also forgetting you will be the only one handling it before employing someone (except you already have someone staying with you who is assisting).
All in all sha, think deep about the whole thing and I trust the Holy Spirit to direct you.

I want to quit my teaching job, I wanted to drop my letter on Tuesday but didn't meet my boss and d secretary refuse to collect it I know my proprietor will try to convince me but I do spend Almost 10k a month for transport and d salary is not up to 30k, den I teach JSSS1-SSS3 Agricultural science and SS1-SS3 biology, d taught of writing lesson note and plan alone is driving me nuts.... And dis summer break don over sweet me DAT am not sure I can start waking up 5am again just to start preparing for school with dis big belle....Am really confused, DH is in support of any decision I make, just don't no wot to do jawe.

Hello cappo,the Lord is your strength. The matter get as e be sha but what will you be doing if you quit? Aside hubby, what other means do you generate income from?
To me, I will advise you hold on to the teaching job pending the time you get another job(or something else) that suits you.
Moreover, maternity leave is just around the corner...

Please take heart phlakkeys. The Lord is your strength and sure comfort. You will surely rejoice again.

I wish i am actually announcing my BA right now....my consultant came in when I was already prepared to be taken to the theatre and said they will still have to manage my bp till 36weeks...he said he doesn't want me having a baby that will stay in an incubator so I'm being monitored every minute and every hour...so hopefully I will announce my BA next week, main while I still have to remain on admission till I put to bed...

On a lighter note, as soon as I was told this early morning that I was to have a CS I suddenly developed the urge to poo, before I knew it is still visiting the toilet every 20 mins....I suddeyou felt nervous and scared and it was affecting my bowel... the people in the same ward with me where just laughing at me...I never knew a time will come and I will be scared of CS..

God will perfect all that concerns you in Jesus name. Pls rest well. We eagerly await your goodnews.

As I decided to come out of peeping mode today,pls permit me to share my joy.
I had my first ANC last week. After the class,went in to see the doctor at my turn.
After the whole interaction,she reluctantly decided to check if she could hear lo's heart beat.
Lo and behold,the sound was loud and clear! I was almost in tears knowing there is actually a mighty living being in me. God is indeed awesome. Can't wait for the next appointment so a scan can be done to view lo...hmmmmmmm October pls come fast fast ooooo

Hmmm, i got the shocker of my life on saturday when i went for my first scan, by LMP i should be 16wks by first week of may but according to scan i'm 16wks today....hmmm, i always use that scan center even in my previous pregnancies cos the scan is mostly accurate. I went in and lay on the bed not up to 5mins i lay on the bed, the next thing i heard is...''Congratulations.....you are having two babies"....whaaattttt? I just jumped off the bed immediately,i was about to run out of the room when the man held me and dragged me back,even the man himself was scared because for like 20mins i was just staring at the man like it seems your scan is no longer accurate. After much calming, he then said he was only joking. I said it better be a joke cos i can't remember when i asked God for that, even though i admire twins but i never open my mouth to ask for it before, even when someone says that prayer for me i send it back to the sender immediately. So i told the man neither myself nor DH has twins in their family so where will it come from and i warned never to make such jokes with me again, haaaa! After the whole drama, i left the room but the sonographer then called in DH privately to give him the scan result and told him that he wasn't joking but that it was true ...JESUS...when DH came out and showed me the result,tears started flowing down,i started thinking....where will i start from,how do i cope, we're not rich,we're just OK.Look at me still complaining of how i will cope with 2super active kids+another preggy with no help + working from 8-5,haaaa...who send me message, how did it happen? I concluded i will try another scan center next month.....i can't believe it yet......Right now i need a miracle in my life!

Hello mamas in d house, hope u are all good?



I've been having tummy ache since I took in and on Friday, it got too much that I can't bear it. I had to call my hubby from work and he insisted that I most go to d hospital but I heard tummy pain is normal during first trimester pregnancy so I ignored him. But on Friday night it got so bad that I could neither sit nor sleep and I was bleeding, he quickly took me to d hospital and d doctor said there's a miscarriage. I was counting 4weeks but doc said its 6weeks. I was admitted that same night and given some treatment. I was discharged yesterday after evacuation.


But my hubby seems to be more dejected,though he's trying his best to calm me.....pls mamas, I need ur help and advice. Also how soon can another pregnancy set in?

So sorry abt the loss,pls take heart. You will take in again soonest in Jesus name. Like other mamas have rightly said,you can start trying when your body feels ok.
Like myself,I was operated on(due to ectopic pregnancy) ending of October last year and took in again early January...yours can come earlier, there's nothing God cannot do. Just trust Him.
It is well sis,it will surely end in praise.
