WikiLeaks

WikiLeaks published thousands of confidential diplomatic and military classified documents in 2010 and 2011 related to the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.

U.S. prosecutors said the massive leak endangered hundreds of lives and that Assange was aware of the dangers, prompting a U.S. criminal investigation to prosecute him under the Espionage Act.

If convicted in the U.S., Assange could face a 175-year jail sentence.

Assange has always denied any wrongdoing. He has been held in Belmarsh high-security prison since 2019, when he was removed from the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he took refuge for years.

I don't understand because the normal procedure in military which i believe is also applicable to Police and other para-military agencies is that the accused person will first face orderly room trial or panel and if found guilty will be dismissed and handed over for prosecution.

In the case of Abakyari nothing like such took place except written suspension from Police high command instead of PSC.
Does it mean they can come come back to the police after less than 3 years in prison?
No he can't but they can codedly put everything into retirement for him.So after jailed terms everything goes as a retired officer.

metronaijaNG:
Niger State Amalgamated Market Traders’ Association ( NSAMTA) has said that said the giant strides recorded by Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello’s administration in developing the state in the last three years prompted the association to purchase the 2019 governorship nomination form for his re-election.

A leader of the union and business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Achida who spoke on behalf of the union disclosed this in Government House in Minna, the state capital when members of the association and other stakeholders presented the nomination form to the governor.

The Union in concert with the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) had on Friday obtained the nomination and expression of intent forms on behalf of the Governor Sani-Bello from the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja for the sum of N22.5 million.
Presenting the forms to the governor by a large crowd of representatives of the traders and all the local government chairmen, Achida said Governor Sani-Bello’s ability to bring about economic and infrastructural development across the state informed the decision of the union to go ahead and obtain the forms to enable him (governor) seek for second term.

The market men and women led by their chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Dan’dare attributed the success recorded by the Governor on his conscious efforts at running an all inclusive government in the state which brought about condusive environment for business to thrive in the state.

The traders eulogized the governor’s efforts at ensuring prompt payment of civil servants salaries, which in turn boost their own business. They also commended the governor’s efforts at providing health care to the grassroot, even in the face of lean resources.
The traders then assured the Governor of their support in the forth coming elections, stressing that the union would mobilise all its members in the state to ensure victory for the Governor at the polls come 2019.
In his remarks, Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello expressed gratitude to the association for the support and confidence bestowed upon him by the market traders and assured that his administration would continue to ensure economic and infrastructural development despite the economic challenges faced by the state.

Have been clubbing since I was 16 and now that am an adult it's getting worst..

Wednesday I club, Saturday you find me there... Sunday it's confirmed. This has really eaten my finances deeply being a night walker I can't just help myself.

I tried several times buying same drinks I buy in the club outside at a cheaper rate, vsop and the rest and keep them in my fridge just to keep me indoor during weekends like this.. No way! As soon as it gets dark the urge to go mingle around with different new faces, pick new figure 8 and probably get to meet new ballers in town always wins.

This is an habit I really want to let go, please clubbers how can I go about it?
Change your mind set, to stay away from this your illicit acts.only you can help yourself no one can.

NB:try and be attending your religion programs it helps to change the circle of friends you hang out with.
