Ibrahimmrfish:Ibo only have mouth to make noise. Their skin is too thin to endure that, they will soon write UN to give them their own country, that tagging them #igboyahooboys is a marginalization and abuse of their human rights. ![]() Kwenu! Kwenu!! Kwenu!!! |
netmillionaires:The security network has history but it was never given statutory power until now. OPC was used in the battle against Ijaws tormenting residents of Ikorodu creeks. There was aerial bombardment and there was ground assault. Airforce bombarded targeta in the creek. OPC went house by house search to prevent their escape. It turned out they were not completely wiped out, remnants of them in the creeks relocated to terrorize other areas. At that point OPC went after them in the creeks. The Navy Commanders stopped OPC involvement in water security and went in to complete the job. In case of badoo, again in Ikorodu, Police could not control it. They partnered OPC and brought peace back to the communities. Beside that, many residential estates and communities hire OPC for surveillance and security work across SW and Police recognize their work. This inclusion in Joint Force is not new but the statutory power is new. On the issue of ak47 and fire power. OPC has arsenal of different grade weapons, from small arms of the 9mm caliber to 45 and even shotguns and rapid fire automatics. They have weapon grade superior to ak47. Have you ever witnessed their street parade when they come out in arms? Comb the internet for some of their old videos and pictures....you will see these things. Their target is criminals...not just fulani herdsmen but including arned robbery and ritualists and yahooboys and drug dealers. They are not given power to fight war but to secure. If a force come against them with firepower Im sure they know how to treat the problem. |
IYANGBALI: ![]() |
Afonja007: ![]() Dont mind them jare. They said its will of Allah that Abbo slapped and punched a woman in adult sex shop and if Allah did not mean for that woman to be slapped he would not have gone in the shop. Meanwhile a housewife up there stabbed her husband to death. These beasts refused to respect Allah's will for the deceased. They quickly locked her up. She is still chopping beans in prison. Awon were! |
Biafrannuke:There is lessons to be learnt there. First, let me say a word to my regional leaders and thank them. Big shout out to Western Nigeria! Good job from the Executives and we are very pleased to know our grassroot (OPC and Hunters) will be the security task force. OPC! OPC!! OPC!!! Ok my brother, back to you. You see the lesson of all this must go back to bakassi boys. They were formed to secure SE against homegrown robbers, kidnappers and rapists who made it difficult to trade and also extorted traders into paying levies that go into private pockets. Their ruthlessness was effective against the criminals but they also went overboard and failed to instill discipline within their group. Same people formed to protect communities turned into oppressors. Ipob was different. Ipob is a separatist movement. Of course they had the capacity to secure SE but they suffered the same treatment as OPC. Abacha ordered "shoot at sight" on OPC. Yes, "shoot at sight", no question asked! Today OPC is a recognized security outfit. Two weeks ago IGP sent a delegation to Aare Gani Adams to give commitments of the NPF to partner with OPC in securing SW. Can you imagine? How that came about is a long story that I cant talk here. It is possible in SE. In my opinion it should be done with Ipob. Some will say....but ipob is proscribed and a terrorist. So is bokoharam. But they are reabsorbed into jtf for security in North. Why not ipob? |
chennaija:Ipob lack sense, Wallahi! From top to bottom they lack sense. The reason you got close to Ekweremadu to even touch him is because he had no security shield. If he did you would not even sight him, much more touch his clothes. Buhari is a diplomatic asset. It would be an embarassment to Govt of Japan that a visiting Sovereign was harassed and assaulted on their soil. It would not make Presidents around the world comfortable going to Japan for visits. To protect its own image and security guarantees in diplomatic circles it would make sure Buhari's itinerary ...and others with him...is sealed and that they are enveloped in a cocoon of high security. So this show of an ipob flying in from Onitsha to Japan is just that.....a symbolic show of shame and recklessness. The fact ipob members had to fly in to Japan and start asking for Buhari's whereabout shows you are not an intelligent outfit. Intelligence and knowledge of diplomatic protocol should have alerted you to the fact that you will never see or get close to Buhari in Japan. Like I said....Ekweremadu was possible to target because he came casually to the event. If he had obtained diplomatic cover from German Govt dem no born una well to touch am. This is not how serious separatist movements fight their opponents. Countries around the world recognize your need for rights in your OWN Country, Nigeria.....but when you start going into their own territories to commit assault and violate people security and privacy....they will equally see you as a security threat and might withdraw support. I just wrote in another thread about the penchant of Iboman in position of privilege....zero discipline about managing power. He will soon ruin the privilege and everybody along with him. Ipob should have a rethink! |
Stingman:The person you responded to is correct. You Ibos are your own worst enemy. You lack capacity to manage power in all its forms - money, politics, military, administration.....name it! When you acquire a privilege you loose your mind and spirit over it....you loose moderation and act in extremism. You begin to see others as inferior and yourself as supreme. During Gej administration you hugged everything and acted as if youve never been in corridors of power before. People dont forget these things. Some of your deeds in past is what is being replayed for you today, unfortunately. Correct your ways and be disciplined with use of power when you are priviledged with it. Even if your mind tells you others are inferior keep it in your soul, dont act it out in your relationship and treatment of those who have rights to the same privilege. Dont forget what it tastes like now, the pain of injustice.....when you get there act like you got some gaddem sense and treat your people well....and treat other people well. |
tunjiajayi:Dont you know that cut off marks into unity schools is promotion? In some other countries they call such programmes "affirmative action". A programme to accept and represent all co-owners of society when the regular process for such acceptance is insufficient to give accomodations. If Ibos are under-represented in Police Force, what about in EFCC, DSS, SSS, Army, Air Force, Navy...what is the statistics like? |
muykem:They do it for fulani. Why not for Igbo? |
Kidnapping has been a lucrative business in SE before fulani began carrying ak47. Why do you think the who is who of Iboland are all located on foreign soil? Its because their sons in Iboland will snatch and sell them or demand ransom. Kwenu! Kwenu!! Kwenu!!! ![]() |
Unbelievable!!! ![]() |
The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law (Intersociety), has condemned the current ranking in the country’s police force in which no Igbo officer is Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) or Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG).In a statement yesterday, the group stressed that the region was left with only six Commissioners of Police (CPs). It said the Igbo rejects the lopsided arrangement, adding: “Out of seven DIGs who head seven key departments of the Nigeria Police (NPF), South East should have at least one DIG. “The South East should also be entitled to two Police Zonal Command AIGs of the 12 and minimum of four or maximum of five AIGs of the about 20-22 serving AIGs.” On the 95 serving CPs, the South East should have at least 15 CPs and not less than six state commands CPs. “The allocation of only six CPs and one Acting CP including a retiring CP is not only rejected but also grossly undermines the equity and fairness inherent in the geopolitical zones arrangement.” The statement jointly issued by Head of Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, Obianuju Joy Igboeli, Head of Campaign and Publicity, Evangeline Chidinma Udegbunam and Board Chair of Intersociety, Emeka Umeagbalasi, also disclosed that there was no Igbo DIG or AIG in the NPF.It said by the current structure, the South East has been excluded from the Nigeria Police Management Team (PMT), comprising the serving IGP, seven DIGs and 20 AIGs. The group also argued that by Section 14 (3) of the 1999 Constitution and the equity principles of regional representation and national integration, the Police Service Commission (PSC) should ensure non-exclusion of any geopolitical zone in ranking and promotion of senior police officers and assignment of duties to them. The affected senior police officers are those classified and captured in the Police Officers Senior Staff List from the IGP to Chief Superintendents of Police (CSPs) updated on a monthly basis. Contrary to this provision, the group argued that the PSC and NPF were breaching the constitutional provision and principles by “deliberately excluding senior Igbo police officers from sensitive positions.” Specifically, DIG Godwin C. Nwobodo from Aninri, Enugu State retired on August 12, 2019 without replacement. Until his retirement, he was a member of the PMT, representing the South East Zone and DIG in charge of Department of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at Force Headquarters, Abuja. Also, former CP and now retired AIG Chris Okey Ezike from Ogboji, Anambra State was the only serving Igbo AIG as at March 2019, out of 20 serving AIGs then, among many others. |
ChiefkeefGB4:So where is he now? Has his people stopped dying from live bullets? |
Igbo people in the South East have expressed regret that what was envisaged as the binding principles of the Nigerian nation state no longer exist. They are therefore calling for a plebiscite to determine the future of the region. The people noted that the Federal Republic of Nigeria as it exists today was a phantom political state which had lost all the basic principles of rule of law, justice, equity and humane values; that anarchy now prevails in all spheres of the society. The communiqué of the first ever Igbo national summit with the theme ‘Peace, Security and Development of Alaigbo and Her Neighbours,’ which was signed by Chairman, Alaigbo Development Foundation, Prof. Uzodinma Nwala, chairman of the Organising Committee, Prof. Ukachukwu Awuzie, chairman of the Association of South East Town Unions, Emeka Diwe and 21 others, noted that Ndigbo had continued to be marginalised in the scheme of things with key appointments going to the North. In the communiqué, entitled ‘The Owerri Declaration,’ the participants noted that the endemic instability in the federation had been due to an inherent incompatibility of values between the dominant religions, traditions and cultures of its indigenous ethnic nationalities, stressing that this had been made worse by the deliberate act of manipulation by the British colonial authorities who, through manipulation of the federal structure and census, left power in the hands of the Fulani minority. The participants, therefore, “Urge all pan-Igbo organizations, including the Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF), Association of South-East Town Unions (ASETU), World Igbo Congress (WIC), concerned Christian clergy and representative organizations, particularly the Christian Association of Nigeria South-East (CAN-SE), from our contiguous neighbours including the coalition of all pro-Biafra groups, and the vindictively proscribed non-violent organization, IPOB, to collectively work in political synergy for our collective aspiration for self-determination, to ensure our survival and lead the pursuit of the realization of our collective security, destiny and development as a free, prosperous peace-loving people bound together by the principles of self-determination and freedom.” Read more: https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/igbo-summit-calls-for-plebiscite-on-future-of-s-east.html |
Ikechunna:Yoruba is not FBI. Fbi said in its press statement after arrest of 78 Ibo criminals....."this is historic!....this is the biggest and worst case we have seen of identity theft and internet fraud". America said that, not Yoruba. But me personally, im interested in entering this event in Guinness book of records. The world need to know that Ibos are brave warriors. 78 of them entered America and made history. Kwenu! Kwenu!! Kwenu!!! ![]() |
gidgiddy:So why did he confront Buhari after his release from prison. Was that smart? If coming to country with identification was stewpid why was his self destruct approach in Afaraukwu smart? ![]() |
gidgiddy:So you agree his activism is narrowed and specific to Ibo alone. Human rights activists dont call for people to be assaulted and stoned and killed. Kanu has called for all these upon Ibo leaders. Kanu is a separatist. Look up the word. |
gidgiddy:When he announced he will come to Nigeria he bragged that he would storm Nigeria and free his people. Nigeria did not know Kanu was in the country if not his own people that ratted him out after he was smuggled in from Benin and hidden in a motel in mile 2. He did not enter Nigeria legally...he came in with intention to discreetly organize volunteers in SE. He did not want to be arrested. So the fact he sneaked in and was arrested is a negative on whatever credence of bravery is attributed to him. Brave men will not sneak in to face their challenger...they come in boldly and with confidence. |
gidgiddy:Which human rights did Kanu advocate? Kanu is not a human rights activist. He is what is called a separatist. Kanu called for extermination of Pastor Kumuyi simply because he is Yoruba and Kanu was not in favor of Yoruba shepherding Ibo evangelism. Kanu called for extermination of Buhari. He denigrated the Yoruba race in very uncultured ways. Is that who you guys call human rights activist? The guy is a separatist, he does not belong in the rank of Fela or Sowore....at all at all. Category...Category o... Me and you, no be category o! Fela and Kanu no be category abeg! |
abdulazeez1002: My brother abeg forgive me jare, i no go do am again. That guy na one ara oko. He no see front at all. He is in same class with that yeye Prof. Akintola. Every small chance na to quote his faith. That kind person is dangerous for Yoruba. |
livebyday:If you like be a buzu, who cares? My statement stands.....the impact and loss of trust to all Nigerians generally is a far more concern on that thread than your nonsense stalking people to report. Get sense! |
festacman:This is not an Iboman....this is an IGBO Nwafor! God bless you bro! |
MelesZenawi: ![]() Seconded! Anything connected with macban is not peaceful. Sultan is patron of macban. |
So why comment to us about a will God imposed for your fate? What are we to do now....? How is your fate our business? . This is same man that made caps with "reelect Buhari" and handed out at FEC meeting when Buhari had not even intended a return. Bloody slave! ![]() |
Officialgarri: ![]() Ibos find it hard to accept that Kanu is a coward. They try to rewrite his history. The same method they used to bring an uncivilized Ibo society into prominence by inserting it into any historical accounts where Yoruba was featured.....and through that attachment gradually and fraudulently brought Ibo into historical perspective and prominence. Can you mention of any civilization of Ibo beside the oft repeated Igbo ukwu? No. Everytime Ife art is recalled you see Igbo ukwu. What is Igbo ukwu? A single jar of bronze. We are not even sure it belonged to igbo since no other work of art is found or neither is any knowledge about the bronze jar. Yet this ukwu is called a civilization. With Kanu they are trying to make him a hero...in the likes of Fela. So they attach his mention with honorable and brave Yoruba social activists. Yoruba is Ibo's god! Without us they are nobody. How can a coward be a hero? But this is Ibo, it is not impossible for a coward to be hero in alaibo. Ojukwu is good example. ....even criminals wanted by fbi are heroes in Iboland. Nwabufor said in his article, the Igbo crime culture, "an Iboman was guillotined to death in Asia for drug crimes, back in village he was eulogized as an hero". Imagine! Coward Kwenu! Kwenu! Kwenu!!! ![]() I exepect mods to soon ban me under pretext of spambot. Theyve been doing that lately in response to reports about me. I dont violate rule so i cant be bannsd...but they censor me with spambot. Ive learned to just wait out its expiration. ![]() |
myright:This is an internal Igbo issue. What i get is the author is pro-biafra and wants Ekweremadu to use this incidence as a catalyst for ethnic redemption, adopt Nnamdi Kanu into mainstream Ibo political struggle. He is very correct that what other Nigerians find acceptable as social and moral values is detestable and unacceptable to Ibo. |
mysticwarrior:You are correct! More of them are being discovered as we speak. I dont think fbi is going to release any more list though. Americans are outraged and wondering why fbi is reactive inspite of changes in privacy act following September 11, which led to creation of Homeland Security. So they do not want to face the wrath of citizens, and could influence how they announce or prosecute new discoveries. |
That guy is industrious and enterprising. He storms SE every Christmas. ![]() He is a Lagos landlord, has mansion in Lekki. ![]() Developer Kwenu! Kwenu!! Kwenu!!! |
BULLIONVAN4:We dont know difference between Ndokwa and Asaba and Umuahia, and we dont need to know, thats just extra headache. You guys know the difference....so you fix them. |

Since Igbo are comfortable calling every Fulani a herdsman or all northerns book haram,it is now safe to you the term yahoo boys to refer to all Igbo people.

not every crime culprit name bearing "chi" "chukwu" and other Igbo names is Igbo as he may come from the land of cofused humans...they don't want to associate with us but they commit crimes with Igbo names and language.
