Sometimes when you are trying to solve a electro-mechanical problem you reach a point where you realize the damage to the equipment is severe. It can be fixed...and the fix will take an X amount of naira and a Y amount of effort and a Z amount of time to complete. So you tabulate this inputs as total cost. Then you go to market and price a brand new model of the equipment. You must make a decision. To toil on the defective equipment for 2months at a total cost of 150,000 naira and make it work again.....or to go buy the brand new at 65,000 naira tomorrow? This is called cost/benefit analysis. I believe Nigeria has reached a point someone need to make a decision....to keep working at fixing Nigeria for the next 100yrs and at great human loss......or to just demolish this shyyyte and replace it with a brand new nation. Buhari is unfit for either tasks. |

author=dultmax post=81715539]It is normal to have different school of thought but please, do not judge people or call them kafir. Only Allah can determine who is a kafir and who is not. Allah is the all-knowing the all wise.Oh really? When North call other people kafir its ok ![]() |
SluttanSlayer:Sluttan, whats going with P&ID bro? Whats that acronym stand for....is this the new faction in Ipob? ![]() Kai, Allah na gode. ![]() |
thatigboman:You sef! ![]() You don do pass limits. Which one be hug? No culture support that, regardless of religion. It is a custom in western nations brought on by feminists and lbgt communities. |
aril:Traditionally in human history handshake was reserved to men and symbolized an act of fraternal bond. So when men would transact business handshake was an acceptable way to sign the deal and seal the exchange in trust. The formality of trade or peace agreement is completed only when the parties have shook hands. Gradually it crept into casual use and applied even in instances of informality. In modern times handshake is used unconsciously in almost all instances of greetings and bonding. While men would shake hands....women would touch each other softly or embrace to symbolize closeness and emotional bonding. Few decades ago emotional quotient became a catch phrase to substitute intelligence quotient in work place and social arenas and this was popularized by talk circuit professionals invited to deliver motivation speeches at corporate annual meetings. Gradually men copied the acts of emotional response and started hugging by first grasping hands (handshake) and then touching shoulders, with a back pat sometimes.....to buddy....or seal trust! The work place also introduced ideas on gender equality and feminism crept in....thus women began to feel discriminated if men shook hands with one another but not with the women in a gathering. To respond with sensitivity to the culture of gender equality women are very much brought close to same treatment with men ....and so it has become acceptable to shake hands with women. It is a human history....not a religious injunction. Yoruba understands Islam far better than any region in Nigeria. Wallahi! The Islam in North is tainted with fulani custom and often at odds with Allah's direction. You all must repent and practice Yoruba Islam. Awon keferi! |
Khaleell001:Go and tell Sultan that you are muslim and want to marry his daughter. See if his Islam recognize your Islam. Go tell king of Arabia that you are muslim and need a job in one of their ministries...and see if your Islam qualify you. You are hoodwinked, and you cant even see the hood or the wink. ![]() |
madridguy:Whats the Quranic injunction that supports this belief? Look, the reason Khadija and Prophet Muhammad, Sallalahu Alayhi wa Sallam, met, transacted business and became life partners was because Arabian women were not locked up behind doors and denied social freedom. The Islamic interpretation today is that women must not be allowed in public where men are. Then this issue of handshake is part of the package of that restriction. How did something acceptable in time of Prophet is now unacceptable in time of his followers? Cultural and customary beliefes have crept into many of the creeds and upheld as traditions but they are false and pretenses. Abu Hurairrah, Radiyallahu Annu, used to say he saw Prophet's wife did this...he heard Prophet's wife said that....he observed Prophet's wife went somewhere.... If the Prophet's wife was locked up in purdah as many of you kafirs in North do would Abu have the privilege to record these customs? I just love the way Yoruba practice Islam. From Northern Nigeria all the way up there to Saudi you all are kafirs. Practice Islam the way Yorubas do. |
coluka:Even as he no touch sef he already been marked for a lawsuit. There is statute of limitation, 5yrs. He was in uniform and badge so it might be less in his case. Let him win multimillion dollar lottery anytime in next 5yrs.....she is coming for him! Awon were! |
This is mumu comment from Tunde. Adesina could be the first Nigerian to occupy the following positions in the next 5yrs. 1 - IMF has never had an African MD. 2 - World Bank has never had an African President. 3 - A Nigerian has never led UN. By advocating him for Nigerian President those in support are eliminating him from qualifying when the positions open up 5yrs from now. Its a strategy. Some Yorubas are easily scammed by Ibos. ![]() Heading Nigeria is a backward achievement for Adesina. Deinde Fernandez was never a President of Nigeria but he had more access, reach and power across continents....into corridors of influence that President of Nigeria would not even know exist.

This is why SW maintains its own development programme jeje. See as Niger Delta Development don become national affair. Na so Yoruba go represent when we finally get SE Development Commission. Insha Allah! |
Sonnyboom:Ahhh...Tinubu ke? Asiwaju did not want him. Buhari put him there. Akeredolu would have been a high performer in SE. He is a misfit in SW. |

On a serious note...Akinwunmi could get UN Secretary General Chair. .....or World Bank or IMF. He has the credential, the class, the network and the politics to make it. |
You all should leave my President alone and stop bothering him. This is G7 loss. They know he has committments in Japan....so why schedule meeting in France same time? This will teach them lesson, next time they want Buhari in meeting they will plan it well. Simple! ![]() |
ChiefkeefGB4:Private individuals have no legal recognition in the ICC. You have to be a Sovereign State to file proceedings. How does Kanu intend to accomplish this legal pursuit? |
baby124:Thank you for this post, very apt! Onitsha had an indigeneous name but is lost to history. The indigeneous people were Ibos and Ibo is the language they spoke. They had no king. After Oranmiyan had departed Bini the court language in Bini was Yoruba and it continued to be the practice for centuries. Bini had always been a land of disputes and rebellion and chiefs were always in constant confrontation and departing....some banished. When a chief or sets of chiefs leave they never enter West into Yorubaland. That would put them in harm's way since the court they are running from is kin and kith of courts in West...so they would always head East and away from Bini. This was the genesis of most of these thrones East of Bini towards the river. In its past...and in the age of the pioneers, Yoruba was a supremacist civilization. It believed in ruling and would not succumb to be ruled. This knowledge is the foundation of 1st and 2nd dynasty of rulers in Bini....and those who left to go form their own separate domains carried that authority with them and imposed on the indigeneous natives they met on the land. All those kingdoms between Bini and all way to Onitsha that recognize Bini as their homeland are not the original landwoners in their various kingdoms. They are the rulers because they practiced the supreme imperial authority installed by Ile Ife to all Yorubaland and outward to Bini....and then from Bini, like I said, additional spread Eastward to Onitsha. This spread occurred back when Yoruba was the lingua franca among all crown heads and their courts. Over the centuries, and particularly in the rearrangement put in place by colonists, these courts have largely departed from old traditions and are modernised. Traces of Yoruba language still exist in Bini courts and beyond. Onitsha Olona Ugbo Idu ......while we will never contest the land with Ibo, they must be reminded their monarch is a product of Yoruba supremacy and civilization in that domain. |
