hmm...well...i have been following ur posts throughout this period just didnt wanna make comments....

as regards obogragh who crashed out his account...i feel sorry for him.

I am proud to say that i also dont use stoploss. I started my act with just $150. I raised it to like $540.....i placed a trade on GJ from 124.50 (short) and also EJ from 106.60 (short) both trades went against me.....but i had enough available margin to back my loss.

I however believe so much in retracement.

if you check my signature now...i have $1300 in my act.

I got a call from a prospective client that wanted me to manage his act on his behalf. He saw my act performance and was scared i would crash his act. i just laughed over it and told him i would rather open a new act for his own fund.

Then i had like $189 as my available margin. He later said i shud close my losing trade so as for him to be start afresh. I was kinda reluctant but i just had to becos he's a big time investor.

I however told him it would retrace even if it takes a month or so.

he said he was gonna watch it. Now...EJ has gone below 106.60.

My point here is dis.....if you know that you dont have enough available margin to back ur loss...pls i'd advise you to use stoploss.

I cant say i regretted ever closing my trades but all the same....personally, i dont believe in stoploss

even if it takes me months to build an act from say $100 to $1000, i dont mind waiting.... slow and steady wins the pips.

This is my own strategy.....Like i said, it works for me....I dont want anybody to attack me for what i do. No offense. Cheers...

Hmm, I once beat my girlfriend too wen I was in the university. We had a little misunderstanding and I tried ignoring her wen I noticed she was really getting on nerves. It even happened in my own room. Wen I wanted to leave the room for her, she quickly blocked me and ran straight to d door and den locked it and kept the key. I went back to my bed and laid there while she was shouting. Unfortunately for me, my phone was on my table. She picked it up and smashed it against the wall. I was really boiling by den. All of a sudden she started lifting things up and dis organising my room. Even broke my plastic chair. Wen she saw that I was still mute, she later picked up my pressing iron and den threw it at me. Gosh dat was wat really provoked me. The pressing iron hit me on my face very close to my eye. I didn't even know wen I got up from my bed. The way I pounced on her was like hell. Gave her the beating of her life. Wen I was satisfied, I got up and den left her in d room. Left her there for 2hours and wen I got back, she was still in my room. She started begging me and was on her knees crying heavily. U see, I am against violence in women but believe me some ladies/women deserve beatings atimes for their stubbornness to be corrected. Call me woman beater but I don't care. Some ladies need it and I don't even know who said its a sin to beat ladies sef but its not a sin for ladies to beat guyz shey?

God have mercy. It was like a narrow escape for me. I went to Babcock twice yesterday hoping to make use of d banks there because d ones in my area (sagamu) had been shut since last week Thursday due to the robbery attacks in Ijebu-igbo and co. Immediately I got back to sagamu, my friend just asked me if I was still in babcock cuz she was in class wen I told her I was around. Later told me armed robbers were in the skol. I thought she was joking not until wen I later saw so many updates on my BBm confirming the incident. I even saw some pix of bullet casing littered around d banking area.

Security in Ogun state is zero, a state of comatose. I was in Ago-iwoye last year too wen dose men of d underworld came to OOU permanent site. Luckily for me again, I wasn't in d banking hall but it wasn't a funny story. They robbed comfortably for over 45 mins and there were no sign of mobile police men.

Pls believe it wenever u read or hear dat they use grenades or machine guns cuz the one I witnessed in Ago-iwoye was like hell. They executed the attack so conveniently like trained military men, even using walking talkie to communicate with one another.

I don't blame the banks if they remain shut indefinitely until proper security measures are put in place.

We the residents of ogun state are to suffer for that cuz we'll need to go to neighbouring states to transact. I just hope the surrounding states esp Oyo state beef up her security cuz from statistics, after they are thru with ogun state, their next point of operation wud be Oyo state.

As for Ogun state, our dear Gov. Amosun is still sleeping. He shud wake up from his slumber and stop all dis jargon of attacking his predecessors work. His state is insecure.

We need security in Ogun state. Enough is enough.

Stoploss is to stop loss as the name implies or do we have an english major here to explain better

. That one is for you, Haba shey na by force to use stoploss ni? I don't use it shikena, even if a trade goes against me and I feel it might affect my account on the long run, I will HONORABLY close d trade. That's my own style. Thank you.

ok,  think about this (for those who always blow their accounts):
- You are not using stop loss on all your entries
- You may have a good trading strategy but no strategy is 100% loss-proof because you are not in control of sentiments/ events that move the market
- You need to always use that stoploss because even if you thought your trading plan/strategy is superb price spikes would sometimes undo your position
- You have to understand that you must use lot sizes that are good for managing your account size instead of being greedy. Fx trading is not a big elephant fried for all to chop from; you last when you make it in a definite disciplined plan, not definitely a get-rich quick scheme as many think.
- You can sure recover that loss resulting from your stoploss that was hit if you keep consistent trading style/strategy: be it trendline, moving average crossings, even parabolic SAR alone  , Stochastics (which i have found rewarding for me over the years in combination with auto trendline and sometimes RSI), MACD or whatever combinations you have, so stick with it and strictly use a good stoploss point (maybe current support/resisitance lines) for the time frame you are trading at.
- Admit that you have to get used to this stoploss application because YOU NEED IT whether directly applied or subtily; you MUST fashion out when to exit a losing trade. Shekina , try it and see that your account will grow though you encountered some losses.

LOL, Why would i be predating clients money, thats funny anyway, The reason i dont use stop-loss is just because i believe so much in the law of retracement. A trade might go against me say with 100 pips and den later retrace back to its initial point.

If you go through the account history very well, you'll see that i have been consistent in my performances and without stoploss. it surely works for me like dat bro.

That pair is dangerous, let it go up more before selling, 126.50 is a good point to short if u can take 100pips sl for 300 pips tp.

@ FXKING, lol Silence has a meaning/language of its own. Just because i didnt post on the thread doesnt mean i lost. if u remember vividly, i posted it that i was gonna stay LONG on EU and even add more trades sef, Which i did. I made over 200pips on my orders so dont just come here to yarn dust.
