The ancient times were further ahead than we presume them to be there has been many discoveries that proved that the ancient Greeks, Romans, and other civilizations had devised numerous technologies to accomplish day-to-day work. Our imagination is what takes us to the first step of advancement and our past generation is a good example of how we became so advanced using the technologies and all the creativity.

However, historians are digging up evidence that shows some ancient humans had their shit together in ways modern humanity can still barely manage.

1. The 1,600-year-old Roman chalice, the “Lycurgus Cup,”

The Roman artisans were nanotechnology pioneers. Scientists believe that the Romans may have been the first ones to come across the colorful potential of nanoparticles by accident, but they sure perfected it! This amazing property of the Lycurgus Cup puzzled scientists for decades when the cup was acquired by the British Museum in the 1950s. It was not until 1990 that the mystery was solved.

Researchers studied broken fragments of the cup under the microscope and discovered that the ancient Romans had created the glass with silver and gold particles that were ground to be as small as 50 nanometers in diameter.
This suggests that the Romans knew what they were doing, meaning they had knowledge of nanoparticles!

2. The Sunstone and Uunartoq Disc That served As A Compass For Ancient Vikings

Now, new interpretations of a medieval compass suggest the sea robbers may have skillfully used the sun to operate the compass even when the sun had set below the horizon.

The remains of the supposed compass — known as the Uunartoq disc— were found in Greenland in 1948 in an 11th-century convent. Though some researchers originally argued it was simply a decorative object, other researchers have suggested the disc was an important navigational tool that the Vikings would have used in their roughly 1,600-mile-long (2,500 kilometers) trek from Norway to Greenland.

3. The 2000 year Old Computer “Antikythera mechanism”, Developed by Ancient Greeks

The Antikythera computer was used to predict the position of the planets and stars in the sky depending on the calendar month.
The mechanism is like a great astronomical clock — or like a modern analog computer which uses mechanical parts to save tedious calculation. The logic behind calling it an analog computer is that similar to a computer, the user can provide an input and get the desired output based on some calculations.

4. The Ancient Refrigerator

During the winters, the Persian people used to bring ice from nearby mountains and store them in pits they created in the middle of the desert. The ice pits, known as “yakhchal,” were one of the most ancient refrigerators known to mankind. They were also used to keep food cool and healthy during the intense summers.

The structures were as tall as 60 feet. Below the dome lies a large underground space with excess storage area. The underground space was as large as 5,00 cubic meters. The underground space was connected to a “qanat,” or wind catch. The wind catch consisted of multiple windcatchers that had the ability to bring down the temperature to frigid levels during the summers.

5. The Ancient Roman Concrete

This is not a modern-day concrete but a 2000-year-old Roman concrete which is stronger and better than the ones that are used nowadays. Not only is the Roman concrete is more durable than modern cement, it even gets stronger with time!

Modern concrete is a typically a mixture of silica sand, limestone, clay, chalk and other ingredients that are melted together at insanely high temperatures. The final product is made inert so that no chemical reactions can take place that might lead to erosion. This is the reason why concrete does not last as long as natural rocks. On the other hand, ancient Roman concrete was created with volcanic ash, lime, and seawater. The Romans took advantage of the chemical reactions they may have observed in tuff rocks, which are naturally cemented volcanic ash deposits.

6. Drills and Natural Gas Pipelines in Ancient China

Airplane belly is just one of several tanks found inside the plane. These tanks get filled with waste, through the use of suction. Pressing the flush button in the airplane's toilet is the first step of the process. Pressing that button opens a valve on the bottom of the bowl, which in turn exposes the contents of the bowl to a pneumatic vacuum.

The Suction and Holding Tank
There are two types of tanks in the plane - suction and holding tanks.The suction tank is the tank that the waste first lands the toilet is flushed. This tank can't hold a lot of waste. When the suction tank filled, the holding tank then takes up from where it stopped, thus the name.

The blue liquid used in the airplanes toiler system is called Skykem, and it works as a deodorant and purifying the waste. The liquid is non-sticky, which helps the suction process to properly "grab" all of the waste you drop in the toilet.

President of ASUU, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi has today, Wednesday, 9th January, denied claims by the Federal Government, asserting that they[FG] finally reached an agreement with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) over their long disagreements.

The Professor went on to explained that what they had on ground now is a proposal from the FG, which ASUU insisted must be written down showing her plans of action ― unlike the prior meetings that the FG always made verbal proposals.

Recall that their last meeting happened to be the seventh time they held meetings over their differences without tangible outcomes from the prior meetings.

Following the release of Lifetime’s six-part documentary series, ‘Surviving R. Kelly’, which ended on Saturday, January 5, sources say R&B legend has revealed he'll be sueing everybody who had anything do with this, according to a report by TMZ.

Surviving R. Kelly documentary is an in-depth look at the accusations made against the controversial artist, including claims that he has had s*x with underage girls, has physically abused numerous women, and even ran a “s*x cult” from his Chicago home.

Keynotes of the documentary included R. Kelly’s alleged inappropriate sexual relationship with Aaliyah. The former backup singer , Jovante Cunningham, said she caught the couple having sex on a tour bus while on the road. Aaliyah’s mother, Diane Haughton, denies anything like that ever occurred.

The controversial documentary, somewhat had a positive impact on Kelly's online music as it has received a 16% surge on streaming service Spotify.

Yeah, you read right! You probably might have been there, inviting a few friends over or perhaps, you're expecting a full house ― and then realize that you haven't chilled your drinks just when your guests have arrived.

So, how do you chill your drinks in time for you to be able to chill out with your friends without feeling like a bad host?
Well, read on to find out:

1. Fill a thick glass bowl with water and ice:
The thicker and more insulated the bowl, the better. It should be able to trap the cold water and ice mixture. Add as much ice to the water as you can, but not so much that it prevents the entire beverage container from being submerged into the water. A 50/50 mix of ice and water is a good rule of thumb. If you just need to chill one or a few drinks, this is fine. If you have to chill many drinks, you’re better off using a cooler or even your bathtub.

2. Add a pinch of salt to the water.
A small handful should do. The salt will disassociate into its constituent sodium and chloride ions. The water molecules, being polar, will orient themselves accordingly. This is work, and work requires energy which comes from thermal energy in the water, thus reducing the ambient temperature further.

3. Put your drinks in the ice water solution and rapidly stir them.
Stirring the drinks will help the heat transfer out of your drink and into the ice solution more quickly.

4. Wait two minutes.
The temperature should have fallen dramatically in a very short time. If it needs more time chilling, stir the remaining drinks in the salted ice water for another minute or two.

5. Pour your cold drink into a glass.
It should now be about the perfect temperature to quench your thirst — and the thirst of your guests. Just be careful: if you put in a carbonated drink like a soda, give it some time to settle before you open or pour it. Otherwise, it'll be like you're popping champagne.

Harvard and Yale universities scientists claims that the global warming could be cut in half by spraying sun-dimming chemicals into the Earth’s atmosphere. They believe the technology could help solve the problem of global warming to some great extent.
The research was conducted at Harvard and Yale universities, who published a paper in the journal Environmental Research Letters, claim this idea could cut the problem of climate change in half.

The Technique To Be Adopted For Spraying Aerosols Into The Earth’s Atmosphere
They are calling the idea 'stratospheric aerosol injection tactics'. According to the paper, this would involve spraying sulphate particles into the Earth's lower stratosphere.
For spraying, a special kind of aircraft, or large naval-style guns will be used. Though, the technology is still hypothetical with no existing aircraft suitable for mission.

The scientists made it clear that it's a cost effective project to save humanity, “Developing a new, purpose-built tanker with substantial payload capabilities would neither be technologically difficult nor prohibitively expensive.

And The Estimated Cost?
The total cost of launching a hypothetical system in 15 years’ time at around $3.5 billion, with running costs of $2.25 billion a year over a 15-year period.”

Worryingly, if people who believed in chemtrails were to see this, they'd probably go into overdrive about the implications of 'spraying' into the atmosphere, and we'd risk more inane and absolutely ridiculous conspiracy theories.

There will be also the chances of potential risks including coordination between multiple countries in both hemispheres would be required, and Stratospheric Aerosol Injection techniques could jeopardize crop yields, lead to droughts or cause extreme weather, said David Archer from the department of geophysical science at the University of Chicago.

In 1843 Charles Dickens' published a Christmas Carol and it was around that time, in the early part of the reign of Queen Victoria, that Christmas as we now know it, was largely invented. The word merry was then beginning to take on its current meaning of 'jovial, and outgoing' ― and, let's face it, probably mildly intoxicated. Also in 1843 the first ever Christmas Card was produced for purchase, which contained the the popular phrase! It was a perfect storm of popularity for “Merry Christmas” and the phrase became an instant hit for Christmas Greetings all around the world!

"Happy Holidays" has also always been associated with Christmas as well as "Seasons Greetings", to share your holiday wishes. The term Merry Christmas doesn’t need have any religious bias and is often used by people of all races and religious backgrounds, during Christmas time.

The decades blown conflict going on between North Korea and North Korea, has sparked a lot of debate across the world. Even though they are neighbors and there should be peace between them as they bear almost the same name, their relations with each other are pretty messed up, it is tensed at all times.

Being in the friend zone means you've screwed up, probably right from the beginning or just along the line. It really hurts and might go the extra mile to give you sleepless nights that you wonder why exactly you've gone wrong — while still going wrong.

In the friend zone, she’s feeling absolutely no attraction for you and she’s thinking of you only as a friend and NOTHING MORE.
It's widely believed that once you get yourself in that hell hole called friend zone, you're forever in the friend zone and that nothing you do can get you away from there.

This sucks but I know where you’re at and how you’re feeling about it; I'm here not just to prove you wrong but to also help you get yourself out of there.

Trying to talk your way out of the friend zone, attempting to convince her of what a great guy you are, why you’re better than that “jerk” she likes, and what a big mistake she’s making by not seeing how “good” of a guy you are is something that won’t work and won’t get you anywhere closer to dating her.

The phrase “actions speak louder than words” comes into play big time when you’re trapped in the friend zone because your ACTIONS are what put you in the friend zone in the first place.

This part one of the ways to get the hell out of that shit hole called "friend zone", seem to have in common (behaviorally speaking) how you can change your behaviour towards that girl so as to leave that dark and lonely room.

1. Accept That You’re In the Friend Zone – Don’t Lie To Yourself

– Accept the reality of the situation.
– Accept that YOUR ACTIONS put you there.
– Accept that you won’t EVER escape the friend zone unless you change your thinking, actions, and habits.
– Accept that, for one reason or another, she doesn’t want the type of guy you’re being and something about it doesn’t make her “feel” attraction for you.
– Accept that the only way you’ll ever escape the friend zone is to change your thoughts, behavior, and habits around her and all other women.
– The problem isn’t women and that they don’t appreciate a “great” guy like you.
– The problem isn’t the other guys who are “jerks” and “bad boys"
– The problem isn’t that the world doesn’t work the way it’s “supposed to”.

In any situation, acceptance is the first step to overcoming that situation.

2. Stop feeling sorry for yourself.
She doesn’t want a guy who has a “poor me” attitude and she’s definitely not going to let you out of the friend zone because she feels sorry for you.

– Don’t feel sorry for yourself.
– Don’t be mad at yourself.
– Don’t feel like you’re a loser.
– Don’t feel like women will never like you as more than a friend.

You’ll only make your mental state worse and getting out of the friend zone will become that much harder.
So when you accept where you’re at, just tell yourself, “Ok it’s cool. I’m not upset and I’m not going to beat myself up. I got myself into this and I’ll get myself out of it.”


3. Stop obsessing over her
If she’s on your mind the second you wake up, every minute of every hour of every day, and you’re constantly staring at her pictures on Facebook, it’s too much.
It’s kind of creepy and, over time, not healthy.

– Get a life and become so busy that the last thing you have time for is to think about her.
– Get rid of her photos from the “downloads” section of your phone that you stole off of Facebook.
– Stop stalking her on Facebook to see what she’s doing, where she’s at, what she’s posted, or who she’s talking to.
– Stop talking about her and asking about her when you’re around mutual friends.


4. Reduce the frequency at which you call her
If you want the level of attraction she feels for you to change drastically, you have to stop calling and texting so much.

You have to give her a break.
You have to chill out.
She’s not going anywhere.
You’re not going to die if you don’t talk to her for a while.
She’s not going to be worried sick that something happened to you.
You need to create what I’ve heard Frank Kern call a “pattern interrupt”.
If the pattern is that you call and text every damn day, you need to interrupt the pattern by not calling and texting her every day.
You need to interrupt the pattern of her only seeing you as a friend by disappearing and making her go, “Whoa. Where did he go? I haven’t heard a peep from him for a week.”

Not calling and texting so much will GET HER ATTENTION and interrupt that pattern she has of you in her mind.
When you catch her attention, she’s now paying attention to you more than she normally does.


5. Become More of A Challenge – Make Her Work For It
She’s automatically going to throw you in the friend zone when you’re WAY too easy.
She doesn’t want way too easy.
She doesn’t want you to lay down and say, “I’m all yours! Come and get it!”
It’s not worth her time if it’s not a challenge for her.


Have you ever noticed that she seems to be way more interested in the guys who talk to other women, have a girlfriend, or even a WIFE way more than a guy who’s throwing himself at her?
You ever notice she’s way more interested in the guy who has more female options and won’t settle for just any woman?

Well, that's because women are VERY competitive by nature.
They want the guy that all the other women want.
They want the guy who won’t just let her have him so easily.
You think women put on all that make-up and dress real sexy when they go out only for the guys?

They’re also doing it so no other “bitches” look better than them. Don’t believe me? Ask a very attractive woman who gets a lot of male attention. Women want to win and they don’t want other “bitches” getting what they can’t have.

So when you stop calling and texting so much, that’s your first step to becoming harder to get.
That’s showing her you’re no longer “in her back pocket” and you’re not so easy anymore.


6. Become more unpredictable
Telling her your life story IS NOT what makes her feel attraction for you.

– It’s not what makes her think you’re an amazing man.
– It’s not what makes her want to hop in bed with you.
– It’s not what makes her want you as “more than a friend”.

Telling her your life story takes all of the mystery, excitement, and wonder out of the equation and just leaves her with you – a guy who told her everything there is to know and now she’s bored.
Think about what makes someone so fun, exciting, and cool when you meet them and makes you want to hang out with them all of the time – it’s because you’re getting to know them!

If they told you everything there is to know within the first day of meeting them, you wouldn’t be as excited anymore to hang out with them and you probably wouldn’t have as much fun with them.

When you’re not mysterious, she’ll find you boring, dull, unexciting, she’ll have nothing left to “wonder” about, and she’ll automatically stick you in the friend zone.
SHE WANTS the fun and excitement of not knowing everything about you.
So stop opening your mouth about the details of your life.

Logical thinking convinces you that the less she knows about you, the less she’ll want to hang around you but the opposite is actually true.
The less she knows, the more “fun” she’ll have getting to know you.


7. Give a room to miss you
So when you disappear for a while and you quit calling and texting so much, you are giving her the opportunity to miss you, think about you, and wonder about you.
You’re interrupting the pattern in her mind and she’s feeling a void in her life because your behavior is changing.
Her mind switches from what she was doing to “What happened to...?”
And before you know it, she’s missing you and wants to talk to you to know how you’re doing, what you’re doing, and who you’re doing it with.
Women are very curious by nature and you must use her curiosity to your advantage in order to start pulling yourself out of that friend zone. You must stand out by being absent.

Friend zone as we all know, means that you've messed up big time. The friend zone is where guys who don’t know how to attract women end up and it takes some serious work to get out of it.

8. Show Less Interest
If you give her a little space and then come around to talk to her again, display less interest than you used to. If you display excessive interest, she'll immediately figure out that she still has you by the balls, and that can still “have you” if she wants.

Showing less interest makes you more challenging, mysterious, and harder to get – which she wants. Women are always more interested in the guy who’s not showing as much interest.

PS: I didn’t say you should completely quit being interested – just stop letting her know how interested you're. Keep it to yourself. After time goes by, she’ll unconsciously start communicating more and invariably showing more interest towards you.

9. 'Don't Be Obsessive' About Your 'Care' For Her
If you're with her and she tells you stories about other guys, displaying your jealousy will get you thrown into the friend zone faster than you can imagine – and of course, with the other guys who care too much.

Here's what you should do when she talks about other guys, don’t let it bother you. And even If it does, never let it show. When she sees you’re a guy who doesn’t give a flying f**k, it sparks more attraction.
She becomes attracted to your “carefree” and laid back attitude because she’s used to guys getting bent out of shape over small things.


PS: Show her you’re different by not caring about things that don’t really matter - like being in control of your emotions like a man that you're.

10. Be Relaxed When You're Around Her
When you show her that you're unable to relax or unnecessarily nervous when ever you're around her, it only tells her that she has power over you.

She expects that you be calm, cool, and relaxed, and when you’re not any of those - she unconsciously puts you in the friend zone.

When you’re not calm, cool, and relaxed, your energy causes her to feel weird being around you.
She feels on easy, fidgety, and full of anxiety. It kills her ability to feel attraction for you. When you’re relaxed, she lets her guard down, chills out, and has a good time with you.

PS: Next time you’re around her and you’re nervous, uptight, and full of anxiety, just make yourself believe that you're talking to your sister or a friend you feel perfectly relaxed around. This would definitely have you relaxed in a minute.

You need to develop the ability to calm your brain and body down, calm your breathing, focus, and you’ll feel better. Understand that she's not a danger0us gh0st who've come to take your life. Understand that she's just a girl you like and nothing more.

11. Stop Idealizing Her
Yeah, I know she's amazingly and absolutely pretty! Yeah I know you'd like to hold her in your arms every single second! Yeah I know you love her! But come on! Don't let it get to your attitude towards her – at least not before she starts showing massive love interest for you.

One thing guys who are deep in the friend zone have in common is - they’re too nice! They worship women. They think the nicer they appear, the more compliments they give, and the more they render a helping hand or do all the work for her; the more 'she’ll see what a great guy they are'. But they're totally oblivious of the fact that, those unsolicited acts pushes them deeper into the friend zone – that even a rescue team won’t be able to find them.


To get out of the friend zone and remain out, quit seeking her approval and validation, caring so much what she thinks about you and trying to be nicest guy in the world.


She won’t think you’re a bad guy if you stop idealizing her and being too damn nice! Trust me on this one!


Trust me, she’ll appreciate you more for it and think you’re a pretty cool guy. She’s TIRED of men worshiping her, seeking her approval, and showering her with compliments. She sees it as weak behavior.


12. Don't Be Her Sponsor, Please I Beg You
The more you buy her things, spend money on her, and paying all her bills, the more farther you go down that road called 'friend zone'. You want to know why? That's because she doesn’t respect you! Women use men they don’t respect and if you’re buying her attention, she will definitely take the bait and pretend to be interested in you.

The story is the same everywhere with most girls – every time. Women say, “Hey, if he’s dumb enough to always offer me money and think I’m really interested in him, he deserves it.”

Many young men, and even some older ones who haven’t found the right people to ask, are curious about morning wood. Most people who have the experience, with some regularity, of waking up in the morning with an erecti0n and wonder, what's up with this?

The medical name for a morning wood is nocturnal penile tumescence (NPT). There are some assumptions as to why this happens to men when they wake up in the morning.


2. It becomes less frequent when you get to a certain age.
This morning wood phenomenon becomes less and less frequent around the time men are in the 60's and 70's.


3. The brain controls our bodies and function. This is why men can control being aroused at work, in the gym or on a date.
While at sleep, some parts of the brain are shut down, that means the brain no longer keeps the pen!s in check. Whereas normally the brain is regulating the pen!s and making sure erecti0ns only occur when needed, during REM the pen!s is free to do whatever it wants - And what does it want? You guessed right! Get hard!


4. It's a lot stronger in the morning because he's hormonal.
