I would advice you to apply with the new portal. Use Ilovepdf.com to merge and compress your documents.

Discard documents you dont need. Many of us applicants submit redundant documents, for instance, i personally dont see any reason of submitting a Bsc certificate and still submit WAEC certificate. You dont even need to submit your transcripts cos ur applying for a visa not admission. Hope you see my point.

I applied for passport renewal at ikoyi passport office I did my capturing on the 21th of may.. more than 7 weeks now I havent gotten my passport.. I'm totally confused.. anyone with useful link on how I could get my passport out on time.

I used an agent but honestly I don't think there is any difference because I had to wait for about 8weeks or so before collection.

I was at Ikoyi last week Friday for collection of my passport after I got a text from them last week Wednesday. I captured in may, 4th to be precise so I think the passport for those who captured in June will be available next month. If you didn't receive a text from them you can visit servicom at Ikoyi to ask if your passport is ready.

For those who captured in May, you can go to Ikoyi, the collection center is not at passport office for now due to crowd, it has been moved to their office at alagbon very close to the passport office we are used to. I got there few minutes past 7 and I was out of the place by 11am.

Few minutes past 8 we were asked to write our names in full because they do not have a system there for verification. We did this and filled the register then we were told to wait for activation of the passport before it can be taken away.

They compiled all the passport for about 2hours 30minutes, took the passport to the servicom office around 10:30am for activation and came back with the pasport about 30minutes later. Then they called out our names for collection.

I'm not sure if they are stipulated days for calling each alphabet, because I didn't ask .

But I guess they were using other offices on the same block to call other alphabet though I didn't verify that.

What I will advise is to first check if your passport is ready, you can check that in thesame office they use for passport Activation, you just have to look for a way to enter there because the officer manning the gate only allow people going for passport activation.

I think so; at the point of collection, they only needed to know the reference number and full name of the passport I was looking for. Because of the volume of passport they had to treat, it's a matter of listing to your name and you are handed the passport if you signal that It is what you're looking for.

But, I'm not so sure if one exit with it Just like that, because at the point of activation the lady asked for my identity and checked it against the passport I was collecting, coz I told her it was my wife's.

On reviewing the way things are at ikoyi, the system seamed very easy to get away with someone elses passport. I hope that doesn't happen because it will be really heartbreaking.

Please go get your Passport oh, passport just flood everywhere and there's risk that some might get missing because of the handling

From what I understand from your post, if you still need the scholarship to study abroad, you have to request or notify the issuing body for its availability.

On whether you can get the scholarship back after a long duration boils to the policy of the issuing body. The best way to find out is by reaching out to the body.

If this scholarship isn't from a notable body that can easily pass any means of verification process, it is best for you to request the funds to be liquidated and make available to you otherwise, get another POF to support it.
