I have always wondered and pondered on this. Since it is inevitable that men would cheat, then its surely goin to happen to me. iv seen soo many reactions lol, some women scream the place down, some quietly walk away, some lock up the bedroom door for days. None of them seemed to work tho, as the guys are STILL cheating. What would be the most effective reaction then?? How would you even react to such a thing?

thanks everyone for the advice, but i just called home now and my sister just told me that he just got married this weekend!! so i guess we werent meant to be together, i have to be all means move on, i have been praying about it and am sure i would find someone who i love and who loves me just as much

I was a tomboy too and mostly kept to myself.For some reason,I always counted my steps at age 8 and if I miss counted,I'll start all over again and when walking on tiles,I'll select the tiles I walk on.

kk, crazy thing i did when i was young, lol. Im the first born so i dont really have much of these to share,was quite resposible as a kid, plus my head was always stuck in a book (was an avid reader since pry skul). Back then, when i was like, 7, my mum used to let i and my brother watch movies, no matter how adult rated they were-she prolly thought we were too young to know what they were doing. All was good until my uncle's girlfriend came to visit him one day. They locked the door, and i, the aproko, went to peep thru the key hole. Lo and behold! they were lying on top each other on the bed!! i ran to call my brother to watch with me. "Bobo, come and see, Uncle Ifeanyi is doin that thing that they used to do on tv, that thing they used to do on the bed" We were so excited we got iron cups, placed it on the door and put our ears on it to really hear what was being said lol.  when it got too steamy for us to stay still, we ran to call our housegirl at the time (she was a fellow conspirator who used to do freaky thing then to amuse us, like swallowing a mango seed whole and regurgitating it) to come and watch too. she thought we were joking till she reached the door. By this time, my uncle and the girlfriend were already in seventh heaven, so she didnt even have to go too near to get what was goin on. Interestingly, She just turned on us and started shouting! " you these children!! you've  become bad o!! im goin to report you to your mother!!" we begged and begged that day ehn, to no avail. that day my mother drove us to hell and back with that cane. after each round she'l run the cane under our noses and shout, "what do you smell!!!" Needless to say, we were never allowed to watch movies again in that house, only disney animation, till today

I inferred that from your post. However, this guy seems like pure gold. Such a pure thinking man knows what he's doing with you. The humane part of my heart wants you to think of this seriously, bat this issue around with as many unprejudiced minds you can meet. Remember that no person is worth the loss of your family connections, when everyone else lets you down, theyl be stuck with you.
However, this is the advice i think will sail you through. Marry him. Learn from experience. Then in 5 years time be ready to advice others who are sure to fall into your trap, given the rate at which atheism is growing.

@ Tpiah, and Honerico, enough with such stupid talk. Yes, i know 17 is not soo innocent (not in this day and age) but if its a pastor/priest involved, naivety is a very good excuse.
Its really easy to criticise if you'v never experienced it before. It almost happend to me last summer, when i went to stay in my aunt house (who is a nun). This priest came to see her while she was at work, and decided to wait. What didnt he do? while cooking rice for him, he started touching my hair, stroking my neck, tellin me how pretty i was and how he was attracted to my mum in those days, (sick bas.tard). I waved it all aside cause i kept thinking, he's a priest, this is probably fatherly love or love of God or something. Even when he held me still and kissed me full on the lips, i still thought there was some penance thing goin on. It only dawned on me when he opend his dirty mouth to say, "please, just let me kiss your breast, no tongue." No tongue?? Seriously?? Imagine!!! And i was 18!
So forget that side o!! its very easy to be naive when it comes to men of God!
