mayor007: Acid rain has been falling for ages now. Wonder why itz just getting frontpage attention in Nigeria. It is a form of rain that is unusually acidic and has harmful effects on plants and aquatic animals. Caused by emissions of compounds of ammonium, carbon, nitrogen and sulphur. Caused naturally by the splitting of nitrogen compounds by the energy produced by the lightening strikes or the release of sulphur dioxide into the atmosphere by volcanic eruptions. WE ARE IN THE END TIME. lool this just contradicted your whole epistle |

hackney: We had this thermometer on top of the tele and Dad said that one day the thread will drop below zero and it would snow. (in Imo state!!) I and my sister will sneakily go and shake this thermometer like mad, turn it upside to no avail.
After we realised that he told us that so that we can stay indoors watching the thermometer instead of wandering out of the compound. Looool, thats really creative. How did he even think of it? lolz blank: That is the funniest thing i av eva heard. LWKMD! Lol, thanks |

Family › Re: When Is A Brideprice Or Dowry Too "expensive" by Mhismole(f): 6:48pm On Mar 19, 2010 |
Nawa o, Iv read a lot of nonsense on this thread. The Bride is rich. Her culture allows her to ask whatever she wants for her dowry. And the foolish man, instead of beggin her that he cant afford it, suggests 5000 naira
And you guys are here saying trash about her being a gold digger.
Im not even goin to talk much. So disgusted. |

denzel2009: I knew someone in Ibadan then that could use a teabag like 5 times. After each use, he hangs the teabag on a nail behind his kitchen door. LMAO!! @ poster, once my parents and i stopped at Biggs after church. Mumsi is a slow eater so i and my dad were done before she was. We decided not to wait for her cos she'd take forever. The next thing this woman did shocked us to the marrow. She took the little nylon bag for the meatpie, turned it inside out and poured her remainin fanta inside. After tucking it into her really classy bag(imagine), she looked at us and was like, "What? i owe u??" I swear the things that woman does, |

Literature › Re: John Grisham Or Sydney Sheldon by Mhismole(f): 6:34pm On Mar 16, 2010 |
BlueDiva: I've read all Grisham and Sydney.
Grisham is so predictable, it's always about one aspiring lawyer or the other. Who want's to keep reading about one smartass lawyer? Pelican Brief, Skipping Christmas are so boring, i slept off couple of times while reading them.
Sydney is the master storyteller. He keeps you glued throughout. GBAM! |
