What is the difference between segregated and single sex education?
What is wrong with segregated school?
Are special schools segregated schools?
What is right with single sex education?

Prove that there are more Afgans/Muslims in America or the West than there are in Afganistans or any Muslim country for that matter.

Is that not your question?

And I gave US and Qatar which happens to be an Islamic state as reference
Nop.
What i meant was show that there are more muslims from any Muslim Nation in America than there are in the Muslim nation.

Eg. Prove that there are more Nigerian or Afganistan Muslims in USA than there are in Nigeria or Afganistan.

Then i will agree Muslims are running to the West.

For Muslims in USA is 3.3 Millions and For Muslims in Qatar is 1.17 Millions see the differences. Why are they not running to Islamic countries rather choose Western countries? The reason is because of Sharia Laws
Do mean there are 3.3 million Qataris in USA and 1.17 million in Qatar?

Christianity EtcWe Need Christian Leaders Spiritually Equipped To Transform Nigeria — Omo-agege by mhmsadyq(op): 7:17am On Sep 12, 2021
Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has said that the country needs Christian leaders who are spiritually equipped to be used as catalysts of transformation in the country as well as fresh educational tools equipped for church leadership in Africa and Nigeria in particular. This is a challenge and an admonition to all Christians.

He disclosed this during the 30th/31st convocation ceremony and the 32nd-anniversary ceremony of the West Africa Theological Seminary, WATS, held in Lagos.

Represented by Barr. Felix Eshalomi, Omo-Agege who spoke on the theme, “Global vision, Global mission: Agenda for Excellence in Global Leadership Through Theological Education”, explained that the change in global Christianity has brought about the need to assess the effectiveness of theological education in today’s world.

According to him, theological education has become a global enterprise that is gaining ground both in importance and in complexity as Christianity expands not only in Nigeria and Africa but the world in general.

“This rapid expansion calls for a parallel advancement in equipping leaders who can guide with wisdom in the coming decades.

“Mission leaders are called to be world-class global leaders equipped to serve in diverse, non-active communities within and beyond the traditional boundaries.

“The State and the church must of necessity become partners in the current drive to rid the society of every worrisome tendency.

“The seminary remains the bedrock of Christian education, with its curriculum and learning experiences geared towards a holistic formation and the cultivation of excellence in character and in learning.

“During the past five decades, the heartland of global Christianity has shifted to the Southern hemisphere.

”This places the responsibility of future Christianity predominantly in the hands of church leaders in these regions. It is crucial to reflect on how effective theological education is to producing completed church leaders, especially in Africa”, he said.

Omo-Agege, however, in his address observed that lack of a good road network might impede smooth operations of the seminary in the coming years.

He then promised to rehabilitate the Olakunle Akinola street at Akinyele bus stop, Ipaja, in Ipaja/Ayobo area of Lagos, the road that leads to the seminary school.

He assured the management of WATS of the readiness of the federal government to fix the road within twelve months.

“My pledge is that the rehabilitation of the road will be done in collaboration with the Lagos State government.

“Let me use this medium to assure WATS that we will join forces together to rehabilitate the road for the sake of WATS but if the state government did not support us, the federal government will do it before the end of another calendar year.

“Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and I went to the same, the University of Benin, we know how to build on this relationship”, he said.

Meanwhile, the Provost of WATS, Pastor Olufemi Martins, who earlier urged the Federal and Lagos State governments to rehabilitate the Olakunle Akinola road at Akinyele bus stop, Ipaja in Ipaja/Ayobo area of Lagos.

He made the call during the 30th and 31st convocation ceremony of 2020/2021 graduating students of the school on Saturday, last week.

Martins noted that WATS as one of the largest non-denominational theological seminaries in Nigeria has trained men and women for holy living for the purpose of reaching the unreached through the gospel of Christ with the efforts to bring about national and continental spiritual awakening.

“WATS trains ministers from over the 100 denominations and one time had minsters in training from over 14 African nations”, he hinted.

Despite the successes, the Provost lamented that the major challenge of WATS is accessible to the seminary through the Olakunle Akinola road/Emma Lou Maxey Avenue which become impassable with the arrival of the rains.

According to him, “We struggle to raise funds towards some remedial rehabilitation but when that became difficult, we gave up.

“In 2017, WATS has single-handedly with approval of the Ipaja/Ayobo LCDA embarked on rehabilitation of the road but our efforts are not enough. We need the intervention of the State government as the road has become almost unmotorable.

Foreign AffairsBiden: National Unity U.S.’ Greatest Strength, On 9/11 20th Anniversary by mhmsadyq(op): 8:48pm On Sep 11, 2021
“The 9/11 generation is stepping up to serve and protect in the face of terror … to show everyone seeking to do harm to the America that we will hunt you down and we will make you pay."

National unity U.S.’ greatest strength, says Biden on 9/11 20th anniversary
“The 9/11 generation is stepping up to serve and protect in the face of terror … to show everyone seeking to do harm to the America that we will hunt you down and we will make you pay."

President Joe Biden has described national unity as the United States’ greatest strength in a video commemorating the 20th anniversary of the al-Qaeda attacks on September 11 which left nearly 3,000 people dead.

“In the days that followed Sept. 11, 2001, we saw heroism everywhere, in places expected and unexpected.

“We also saw something all too rare: a true sense of national unity,” Biden said in a video message posted on Twitter on Friday evening.

“In the battle for the soul of America, unity is our greatest strength. Unity doesn’t mean we have to believe the same thing, but we must have a fundamental respect and faith in each other and in this nation,” the president said.

“The 9/11 generation is stepping up to serve and protect in the face of terror … to show everyone seeking to do harm to the America that we will hunt you down and we will make you pay.
“That will never stop,” Biden said.

The president said that “the darker forces of human nature” also emerged following the attacks, namely “fear and anger.”

“Resentment and violence against Muslim Americans, true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion,” he said.

But the country cannot allow itself to be divided. “Unity is what makes us who we are – America at its best.”
White House spokesperson Jen Psaki, said that on Saturday, the president and the first lady would “honor and memorialise the lives lost with travel to all three sites of the 9/11 attacks, visiting New York City; Shanksville, Pennsylvania; and the Pentagon.”

The president was set to visit ground zero in New York City, the Pentagon and the memorial outside Shanksville, where one of the four hijacked planes crashed after passengers attempted to regain control of the aircraft, the White House said.

The al-Qaeda plane hijackings were the single worst attack on U.S soil in the country’s history.

PoliticsBuhari: Igbos In Charge Of Nigeria’s Economy’ by mhmsadyq(op): 8:24pm On Sep 11, 2021
“There is no town you will visit in Nigeria without seeing the Igbos being in charge of economic activities.”

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday praised the Igbos’ “enterprising” spirit, saying that it is evidenced they are “in charge of Nigeria’s economy”.

Mr Buhari stated this in a thank you message to the people and government of Imo State which he posted on his Facebook page after his Thursday’s visit to the South-east state.

Imo State is considered to be the hub of the pro-Biafra group, IPOB’s operations in the region.

Mr Buhari was in the state for a one-day working visit to inaugurate projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodinma’s administration.

The president, while in Imo, had preached the importance of peace for the state, the South-east region, and Nigeria.

In the Facebook message afterwards, the president said the Igbos were “truly the most enterprising”.

“There is no town you will visit in Nigeria without seeing the Igbos being in-charge of economic activities. The evidence is there for everyone to see, that Igbos are in charge of Nigeria’s economy.

economic activities. The evidence is there for everyone to see, that Igbos are in charge of Nigeria’s economy.

“It is, therefore, unthinkable for me that any Igbo man would consider himself not to be a part of Nigeria,” said President Buhari.

The president said he was pleased with the development projects in Imo, promised to support the state and the region, and thanked the government and people of Imo State for the warm reception.

“The Federal Government will complete all ongoing key projects in the South-east, including the 2nd Niger Bridge, and other major highways, as well as the railway lines and routes linking the region with other parts of the country,” he added.

The agitation for an independent republic of Biafra, led mainly by IPOB which has been proscribed by the Nigerian government, has led to killings and destruction in the South-east for some years now.

The IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is currently detained in Abuja where he is on trial for treason.

President Buhari’s message here, quite reconciliatory in tone, is a complete departure from his tough-talking remarks in the past.

However, it is unclear, for now, what impact this may have on the Biafra agitation.

PoliticsNorth Central Insists On 2023 Presidency, Rejects Party Chairmanship Position by mhmsadyq(op): 10:20pm On Sep 09, 2021
Leaders of North Central zone under the auspices of the North Central Renaissance Movement, NCRM, Tuesday, called on the two major political parties, the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to zone their 2023 Presidential tickets to the zone in the interest of fairness and justice.

The group stated this at a world press conference which held in Abuja, yesterday, saying time has come for other geo-political zones to rally behind the North Central to produce the next President of Nigeria.

In his opening remarks, Chairman of the group, Dr. Nghargbu K’tso said the zone will not accept the national chairmanship of any political party, stressing that nothing short of the Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is good enough for the North Central in 2023.

He noted that North Central has never produced a democratically elected President or Vice President, in the history of the nation, adding that as a result, other zones should yield the floor to North Central in 2023.

According to a communique issued at the end of the One-day world press conference, the group said, “From 1960 till date except for the period of military intervention in Nigerian politics, the North Central region has not had the chance to produce an elected President of our dear nation Nigeria.

The communique which was jointly signed by Chairman of NCRM, Dr. Nghargbu K’tso, Secretary of the group, Aliyu Mustapha and Public Relations Officer, Chief Alexander Onoja, added that “as the APC and the PDP get ready for their respective National Conventions, we are alarmed as political juggernauts and elder statesmen from the North Central start to lobby in earnest for the same positions in both parties.

“It seems as if our leaders have concluded that in spite of their many years in top leadership as Governors, Senators or Ministers, they are by some unspoken code ineligible, unqualified or excluded from contesting to fly their parties’ flags as Presidential Candidates.

“From all appearances, they do not even see themselves emerging as Vice Presidential Candidates. The question is why?

“This mindset, whether real or imagined, is one which our generation must stop before it infects and affects our future generations in the North Central. There is no better time than the current political dispensation to terminate it by proving that we too have the same aspirational liberties as any of our fellow citizens from any part of our Country.

“It is on this premise that we, the North Central Renaissance Movement, NCRM, demand in the interest of fairness, equity and justice that the Office of President of Nigeria be ceded to the North Central.”

Asked if group’s aspiration has the backing of governors from the zone, Dr. K’tso said no state chief executive from North Central is opposed to the people’s determination to produce a President for Nigeria in 2023.

“The governors are representatives of the people. They can’t go against the will of the same people who elected them. They didn’t just become governors but they were elected by the people. So, I do not see how any of them will work against this genuine and patriotic call of people to have one of our own occupies the highest elective office in the land,” he added.

At the press conference were delegations from Plateau, Niger, Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa and Benue states as well as the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

PoliticsPDP Governors Take Over Party As Fintiri Chairs Convention Planning Committee by mhmsadyq(op): 8:35pm On Sep 09, 2021
The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has appointed Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri as chairman of the party’s convention organizing committee.

This is as Oyo state governor, Seyi emerged secretary of the convention planning committee.

The zoning committee would be chaired by Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi while Zamfara state deputy governor, Mohammed Mahdi is the secretary of the committee.

Bayelsa state governor, Duoye Diri was appointed deputy chairman of the convention planning committee while his Benue state counterpart, Samuel Ortom is the deputy chairman of the zoning committee.

Addressing newsmen at the end of the party’s 93rd National Executive Committee, NEC meeting Thursday, national publicity of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, said NEC received the report of Senator David Mark-led committee, impaneled to address the lingering court cases against the leadership of the PDP, stressing that the issues would be laid to rest in a matter of days.

Meanwhile, Vanguard gathered that governors were initially opposed to the choice of Fintiri given his closeness to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku who is vying for the Presidential ticket of the party in the 2023 election was the biggest winner as the governors put away their fears to embrace Fintiri as head of the convention committee.

Suspended national chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus seemed the biggest loser as one of his staunch supporter, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi got the plum job of chairing the zoning committee.

With this development, governors have taken over the affairs of the party with the full compliment of the endorsement of NEC.

The NEC meeting was attended by Atiku Abubakar, 13 governors elected on the party’s platform, former PDP governors as well as members of NEC and Board of Trustees of the party.

Earlier in the day, the party inaugurated its national campaign council for Anambra governorship election slated for November 6.

Inaugurating the council, acting national chairman of the PDP, Elder Yemi Akinwonmi, called for togetherness among council members.

“I called on members of the council and Ndi Anambra to close ranks and deliver the state to PDP families.

“The cooperation of all and sundry is expected for the actualisation of PDP dream. I would like to seize this opportunity to appreciate on behalf of the PDP, all the aspirants, who dramatically contested with the candidate. Your spirit of sportsmanship is wonderful.

“I call on you to kindly hold hands together to deliver Anambra to PDP.

“We call on all of us to set aside differences and look at the PDP and Nigeria above any personal consideration. Anambra is winnable for PDP,” Akinwonmi said.

Deputy Chairman of the Council, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, said PDP was set to win Anambra elections.

“We want to reassure the party that we are going to put in our best to ensure that we reconcile everyone,

“We will go into that election as one body and definitely we are going to win that election by the special grace of God.

“We know our people in Anambra are party people. We know also that there have been issues in the past, those issues that divide us.

“We are going to work day and night to ensure that we all step out of our comfort zones and step into the field to talk to the people, and to win back all who have left the party, as much as possible,” Okowa said.

He expressed optimism that there would be no rigging in the elections following the introduction of new technology by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

“I am glad that INEC itself has come out with a new device for the purpose of the Anambra election and it will be tested first in Delta State on Saturday.

“I am told from the information we already have ahead of the election in Delta on Saturday that it would not be possible for anybody to rig elections because there will be no use of incident forms.

“It is either your biometrics, or your facial is captured or else, you will not be allowed to vote.

“So we are definitely going to communicate with the people at the grassroots, and we know that we as a party own the grassroots in Anambra state.”

Okowa assured the party leaders that the council would work with the state campaign council to deliver Anambra state back to the party.

The party’s governorship candidate, Valentine Ozigbo, expressed gratitude to God and the party for counting him worthy to fly the flag of the party.

“I am here to also make a pledge that we will put in everything we have to ensure we regain the lost glory in Anambra state and PDP will take over this year.

“I am also here to make a pledge that not only are we going to win, but we will do our best to ensure not just to deliver dividends of a democracy, but we ensure that we set a standard and governance with Anambra state.

“Anambra people, if you’re listening to me today, your victory is here, your freedom is here, development is on the way.

“I am thankful for the joy that erupted when I was announced as the candidate. The greater joy will erupt on Nov. 6, when I emerged as a good governor of Anambra state,” Ozigbo stressed.

PoliticsIt’s Unthinkable For Any Igbo Man To Consider Himself Not Part Of Nigeria, Buhar by mhmsadyq(op): 7:50pm On Sep 09, 2021
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari yesterday told the leaders of the South-East that It is unthinkable for any Igbo man to consider himself not being part of Nigeria.

President Buhari also said without peace there is nothing anyone can do no matter how much the person tries.

President Buhari also told the people that he would want to be remembered as the President who stabilised Nigeria in the area of security, economic prosperity and triumph over corruption.

This is as the President also said that nobody can accuse him of having companies or mansions anywhere in the country and that he tries to keep himself as clean as possible so that he cannot be taken, hostage.

President Buhari, who spoke at a town hall meeting with South-East leaders during his one-day official visit to Imo State, said with less than two years left in his eight-year tenure as President, security still remains a major priority for his administration.

A statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity quoted Buhari to have said, ‘‘If there is no security, there is nothing anyone can do no matter how much you try or the initiative you have.

‘‘Security is the number one priority and then the economy. When people feel secure they will mind their own business.”

He told South-East leaders that while fighting corruption in Nigeria had become very sophisticated and difficult, he would continue to strive to leave a lasting legacy of integrity and accountability in the system.

According to him, ‘‘Nobody can accuse me of having companies or mansions anywhere in the country and I thank God that I try to keep myself as clean as possible so that I cannot be taken, hostage.

‘‘I will do my best to ensure that Nigerians that try hard, succeed in their efforts.”

On the forthcoming 2023 elections, the President reaffirmed his commitment to free, fair and credible polls, urging the leaders to honestly educate their constituencies on the need to hold their elected representatives accountable.

Acknowledging the resourcefulness and enterprising spirit of Igbo people, the President said:

‘‘The fundamental thing about the Igbo people is that there is no town you will visit in Nigeria without seeing the Igbos being in charge of either infrastructure or pharmaceutical industry.

‘‘Therefore, it is unthinkable for me that any Igbo man would consider himself not to be a part of Nigeria.

‘‘The evidence is there for everyone to see that Igbos are in charge of Nigeria’s economy.’’

Noting that no country can make any meaningful progress without the development of infrastructure, the President expressed regret that successive governments at the Federal level contributed to the decay of critical infrastructure in the country.

He promised that the Federal Government would complete ongoing key projects in the South East, including the 2nd Niger Bridge as well as the railway lines and routes linking the region with other parts of the country.

‘‘I firmly believe that when you get infrastructure right, Nigerians will mind their own businesses,’’ he said, adding that as a group, the Igbos stand to benefit more from the ongoing development of infrastructure in the country because ‘‘they are more enterprising.’’

President Buhari had earlier commissioned four projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodinma, including the Naze/Ihiagwa/Nekede/Obinze link road, the Balloon Driven/Flood Control drainage at Dick Tiger Road, the Egbeada Bypass road and the New Exco-Chambers, Government House, Owerri.

Addressing Imo residents at the commissioning of Egbeada bypass named after a prominent son of the State, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President said he was very impressed with the level of work done by the State government.

‘‘I am very pleased with what I have seen and I assure you that I will support Imo State within the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,’’ he said.

In his remarks at the town hall meeting, Governor Uzodinma said Ndigbo believe in a united Nigeria predicated on ‘‘justice, equity and fairness.’’

He thanked the President for addressing the interests of Ndi Igbo through deliberate policy initiatives designed to give the people a true sense of belonging, including the ongoing construction of the 2nd Niger Bridge, among others.

Governor Uzodinma said the people of South-East would remain grateful to the President for approving the establishment of a Naval Base in Oguta Local Government Area of the State, adding that as time unfolds, the economic benefits of the base would manifest.

The Governor also commended the President for strongly supporting the appointment of two prominent Igbos into two key international organisations-Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, Assistant Director-General of Health Emergency Intelligence, World Health Organisation (WHO).

In his remarks, the President-General, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Prof. George Obiozor assured the President of the continuous support of Ndigbo.

‘‘Ndigbo is committed to Nigerian unity and there is news for those trying to push us out of Nigeria.

‘‘Ndigbo in Nigeria are like fish in the ocean and no matter how rough the storm is, it cannot drive the fish out of the ocean.

‘‘Mr President, it is in this context, that we see a new dawn in your distinguished presence in Igbo land and believe that on your return to Abuja the significance and substance of this visit will form a new foundation of a platform for meaningful dialogue on critical issues of concern to the Igbo nation,’’ he said.

Before the colonial era the Hausas are the most accommodating tribe in Nigeria, they can share anything with you once you're able to speak their language but when the politicians came to the scene they created a big barrier dividing people using racism and politics! smiley
I appreciate you honesty.
