Akeredolu and his media boys lmao,do you all notice most of the projects here are mere project that are not even worthy the jamborees, the school of public health was built by a rep member, who single handedly use his personal funds ,not even constituency funds, yet akeredolu claim it as hi own achievement, how about those less than 20 million project ,or painted project, most of those wear scheme have always been there ,baba just come repaint buildings, governor commissioning street road of few meters with low quality, like governance in old state is become so low ,agagu and Mimiko have way too much project back then that they are unable to go commission them and only focus on major big project, akeredolu is a scam honestly yet he won’t pay civil servants salary, even poor Ekiti is pay regularly now.

I don’t know how rotimi akeredolu of Ondo State was able to package himself as a performing governor on social media,I guess his media guys are doing good job ,fact is that man is not doing anything ,I will say 20/100 ,aside the almost #5billion flyover Bridge measuring less than 500 metre in ore town

You repaint and add some aesthetic to a building and you claim to construct it
OndoFirstBorn:

You're only fooling yourself and exposing your ignorance. It's a shame

First picture: It's the revenue house constructed by Governor Akeredolu. This is the power house of Ondo State where about 20% of the State's monthly revenue come from. The first in the history of the state. If you claim this ain't an achievement, they you're only being sentimental.

Second Picture: that's a picture of the induction day for the freshly employed graduates into the of Internal Revenue Service

3rd Picture: This is when the Governor took delivery of a truckload of Medical equipments from the overseas. You can look it up on Google.

4th picture: the Ore Flyover is not cracking. The line you saw on that bridge which was shown in a circulated video recently is as a result of expansion where the asphalt meets the curbs. I know you can't understand that because sentiment and ignorance won't allow you.

Like I said earlier, Aketi's achievements are verifiable with pictures and facts.

What are you saying ogbeni aketi is a failure
Businext:
I must commend Gov Akeredolu and his media team.
I say this as an advice to Gov Obaseki and his media team.
These 2 governors are up for elections this year and you can see
the difference in their public image.
While every thread that hits NL and front page about Ondo state
Is positive and shed in good light for the governor,
Every thread emanating from Edo and about Edo are negative and
In bad light for the governor and indeed the whole state.
People always say that the Yorubas have the media and know how to spin it
But did that stop other regions of Nigeria from learning this and applying it
For their good?

Even those from Edo state on this site are not helping themselves
Because many people are not from Edo or staying in any part of the state
But are relying of those of you there, especially the indigenes.
Instead the comments are vile, lopsided and embarrassing to the state.

Some people have accused the Democrats in the US of sending that police officer
To kill George Floyd and cause the protests just to smear Trump and his reelection bid.
Whether that is true or not one must admit that the Democrats also have the media
In the US and are using it to their advantage.

Inasmuch as I won't support media propaganda, lies, inflammatory reports and
repeated pictures and achievements, I would seriously advice the Edo state governor, his
Media team and the Edos here on NL to put their works and state out there and let people
see their positive sides.
Too many terrible stories and news coming from Edo, it's people and the coming elections.

Thankfully Ondo and Edo are two states I know well and I wish them the best. Not from neither.
I pray the right people win in the coming elections and I pray that the truth will prevail.

Health / COVID19: Manual Ventilator Will Be Easy To Produce In Nigeria :mimiko by Michdear(f): 9:29am On Apr 01, 2020
Nice our president addresssed us and I hope this gives added momentum to our combat against this killer virus. Will like to highlight some areas of blowout preparedness to which we must pay attention.

Perhaps the most crucial equipment at the clinical stage is the mechanical ventilator, the scarcity of which is now global. I shudder to think of the number of mechanical ventilators in Nigeria. Obviously, we do not have enough for a population of 200million people.

While we are trying to procure more of this life-saving gadget which are hardly available anyway, I suggest that we start mobilizing massively for manual ventilators and start training paramedics who may be called to use them as instruments of last resort in emergency.

Even New York is already making arrangements in case it needs to go through that route. I am sure that if we ransack medical stores in hospitals around the country, we may be able to retrieve a lot of old fashioned manual ventilators that can be fixed for use and also importantly to serve as prototype for local production.

Innoson Motors may face challenges trying to produce modern type mechanical ventilators because sophisticated softwares and sophisticated electronic parts, something tells me clearly that it will produce any type of manual ventilators quickly. So will other similar or related local industries, if challenged. After all, the basic principle of most types of ventilators, positive pressure creators, is more or less the same as that of time honored bellows that our traditional smiths were so dexterous at.

I am reliably informed that no government official has engaged Innoson since their reported claim to have the capacity to produce ventilators. Let’s engage.
Simultaneously, we must start mobilizing our local capacity and start building oxygen plants for what may turn out to be an astronomical demand.

May I state that in light of our obvious limited capacity to test, trace or treat or cope in case of a blowout, social or more correctly, physical distancing remains, the best arrow in our quiver.

The troubling issue is how to sustain a stay at home order when perhaps up to 40 percent of our adult population earn their daily bread on a daily basis.

We are quick to complain of lack of data, but we have BVN. I’m told we have 40million BVN accounts. Adopting a benchmark of say annual turn over of say below 360,000 Naira needing palliative, and assuming that up to 50 percent, i.e. 20million qualify for palliative, say 20,000 Naira each, that will amount to just about 40billion Naira which we must find!

This is without prejudice to other commendable palliatives like cash transfers, trader Moni etc. Alignment of data base, I’m assured will quickly ensure nobody benefits twice.

One also wish to appreciate governors that are already trying to provide food palliatives to households. Huge logistics, but leveraging digital tech will surely help. In 2016, in Ondo State we delivered food palliatives to about 150,000 households seamlessly in 3weeks!

Let me commend our frontline workers and hope we will continue, to the best of our ability, provide them with the wherewithal to function efficiently. The Federal ministry of health and especially NCDC need our encouragement to continue their untiring engagement.

May God heal our Land.

Did you read through my arguments with him?
I never said Ikale can lay claims to Odibo, I said Odigbo is more of Ikale than Ondo. To even broaden my point, Ikale has a case in court fighting over the ownership of Araromi Obu? That is to tell you what it is. Secondly you don't judge the nativity of people by their political affilation. We have Igbo reps in lagos, is lagos an Igbo state? James Faleke claims Kogi state and yet held a political seat in Lagos. It happens every where.

And then you said he knows what he is saying, so Omotosho, Ode Aye, Ajebandele are Ekinmogun?
Ondo town is Ekinmogun.ode aye is not even in odigbo LG,meanwhile ondo have no reason to flex

Akoko needs a flyover more in my opinion.

Health / Re: World Cancer Day: Only 8 Teaching Hospitals Have Radiotherapy Machines by Michdear(f): 10:05am On Feb 04, 2020
See the people you are mentioning ,why can’t tvose who make lots from government do that
Ogilinsaka:

I'm surprised the figures here went up to 8.

It has always been LUTH and Teaching Hospital Ibadan that had radiotherapy machines that had hundreds of people queuing up daily for their turn for treatment.

Eko hospital came to the rescue years ago, charging high fees for radiotherapy sessions.
Many people came from outside Lagos ( those who could afford it) cos they didn't want the chaos and bureaucracy at the government hospitals.

My question is this: why can't people like Dino Melaye who wastes no time in reminding us how very wealthy he has become invest in radiotherapy machines? Why can't senators come to our rescue with provisions of this machines and still make their profits from their investments?

Why can't artist like Davido, Tiwa, Wizkid invest in hospitals?

E-Money has what it takes to invest in a radiotherapy machine, at least in his home state.

Currently, it is ONLY LUTH that has a working machine cos it was privatized last year and is very pricey. How are the poor going to survive cancer in Nigeria?

It's a question I ask myself everyday.

1 in 3 people will get cancer, the earlier individuals rise up to this truth the better for us especially as Nigerians, who has NEVER had a reliable government since I was born.

Cancer is survivable as against what people are led to believe. With well equipped hospitals, we are definitely saving the lives of Nigerians, especially those who can't boast of 3 square meals a day let alone cancer treatments.

Akeredolu has failed. As a membership card bearer of ApC, he can't get my vote in the primary. Only Agagu and Adefarati made a remarkable landmark in the state. If APC carry Aketi, PDP will eventually take over. But I see d ticket between Eng Ife Oyedele and Olusola Oke
mimiko was the best governor so far
