Ojiofor:If they don't give names now, you people would still insult them. Now,some names have been released, yet you still look for ways to meander and navigate into another thing.. In English language,we call this flouting of maxims, and in philosophy, we call it red-herring. Ponder on some of the names first, then talk about their snail-pace progress in terms of development and anti-corruption thereafter Post No Bill |

It's a very good score. It now depends on your O'Level qualification.Mske sure your people also know alot of people who could make or mar your "destiny as a Dokita".That's what Nigeria does to people. Your interest lies here, but they give you something there. If your parents can afford a TOEFL or IELTS, coupled with money for flight and initial accommodation and feeding before you start hustling ,then go for Ukraine.. Medicine is free. Post No Bill |

Blue3k:Which Igbo presidency? Under what Party?APC??The same Igbos that voted massively against APC in Lagos State where one of the owners of the Party reside? The same people that voted vehemently against Buhari, the APC flag bearer?? Sometimes, I always try to ignore some kind of people but, it's very impossible to do so.. Like a proverb says; it's easier to deceive a fool, than to inform the fool that he has been deceived .You people can't be this gullible I keep saying to myself but,it seems the Igbos always have a way of surpassing my yardstick for gullibility.. Look, Bulhari is going to pass the baton to one Yoruba like that, particular like Ambode come 2023..You think the Yorubas and Hausas merged their two parties of APC and CPC together just to let an Igbo man across the Niger rule over them?? Look,It's simple! If you want power, form a strong party and take it other wise ,you ll keep living in a theater of dreams. Post No Bill |

Here we go again... Today,it's First Class :- The Hidden Secret Keys, Tomorrow,Second Class Upper :-Their Roles In Society, Next,it is 2.2 graduates and how to package your CV, Furthermore, you still see things such as 3rd class and ways to go around the veil of unemployment. You people keep giving fleshy attributes to things that doesn't matter anymore. You keep holding onto bygone things such as degrees. It is always good and relevant to attend a University (I won't subscribe a polythecnic. It's a waste of time),but at this point in time, you need not pay attention to degrees anymore. I tell some of my friends who came out with very strong degrees in OAU (which is also my Alma mata) especially in fields of Tech and Engineering to set it aside and tell me what they can do with it. They instantly go dumb and start chest beating about their valour and prowess in academics and blaming me for studying English Language . What is the essence of the grades when you can't solve my problem which is related to your field? Your are a mech Eng grad and you can't give me a mini farm tractor or even it's caricature for my agro business and you call yourself a First Class genius?you are useless to me as an agropreneur and the Nation at large in terms of Agriculture and diversification. What is your essence on earth when as a Computer Science grad, you can't even build an Android or mobile App which me as an English language graduate has become a guru in?then you are just as useless as a cigarette butt. You are a graduate of Bio Chem, have you asked your self; what is my essence and input into the economy of the country? I see people study Physics in Nigerian institutions and wonder if they would ever be called Scientists or even physicists like their counterparts from MIT and other top notch institutions around the world. I wonder if the likes of John Rockerfella had that much classroom exposure before he ventured into Gasoline and Kerosene,as no one ever addressed him as a petrochemical engineer or did Henry Ford who gave us Automobile was ever adresssed as a Mechanical Engineer. If we put them side by side with the so called First Class or our everly sound erudite Professors,i wonder who Nigerians would adresss as dullards or illetrate. While others are going about, inventing and breaking grounds in Science, Medicine, Technology and, Weapons development, our First Class graduates and other strong degree holders are here running around with their impressive CVs looking and praying for that impressive elusive sweet job. Conversely, I'm not insinuating that you should forgo your academics, but make sure that when you get that grade, be it First Class or Pass, determine the course of your race, change the lives of your fellow Africans with ground breaking developments and inventions or just go into areas where the economy needs you the most which to me is; Tech, Agriculture and, Power. I have done my part as a Nigerian, though I'm not even 25yet, and not yet mobilised for NYSC, I can boast today of being a Software developer(Java), Android developer, Blogger and, Agropreneur. What do you thing would happen to my life before I clock 35?dont you think by then, I would have become a massive employer of labor? Both skilled and unskilled waiting on me to give them their monthly stipend in form of salaries. Its not because I'm more intelligent than the assumed first-class holders but because I was able to key into the Nigerian dream which has eluded and blinded some people. You can't make your money in the US or say other developed countries ,you can only do that in developing countries like Nigeria with a very huge and powerful economy and population,or do you think Nigerians would feed on prayers rather than food or Agricultural products? Finally, me as a person, immediately after my NYSC I'll get my Masters degree in a different course entire maybe in Archeology,History,International relations, Metaphysis,or Theology and then proceed for my PhD in any of those courses but in leisure and I don't see myself job hunting with it in a thousand years because I believe learning is meant for self development and evolution and not running around on ties and suits in sun.. Trust me those courses are quite interesting only when you are doing it without the stress of searching for a living with it. Nevertheless, as a social media influencer, Mr Jarushub, you and your team, should girdle up your loins and re-brain wash these first class dreamers to attend more entrepreneur and Tech seminars and agro business seminars on campus like TedX and the likes, even if it implies paying fees to register for such. I know they would listen to you ![]() Post No Bill |

The All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ekiti State has said States Anti-Grazing Law pioneered by the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose and farmers should be blamed for killings by Fulani herdsmen, maintaining that the only way to end the killings of Nigerians by Fulani herdsmen was the creation of Cattle Colonies in all the 36 States of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).Post No Bill

Hmm. Back in the days of our senior Secondary School when we learnt about the Apostles and Martyrdom .The Apostles were executed in excruciating and bizzare manners.I think only St John died a natural death. Those were the real Men Of God,who through sorrow, tears and, blood, brought the people to Christ at the expense of their lives WITHOUT OWNING ANYTHING. They were selfless in their services to humanity which often cost them alot of fatalities. They spread to unknown lands and territories to preach the gospel of Christ to people with well established religion and gods. They often knew that their evangelism to these strange heathens might cost them their lives, still they did what needed to be done WITHOUT EXPECTING ANY FAVOUR IN RETURN FROM NEITHER GOD NOR MAN.At the end, majority of them, if not all, paid the ultimate price of death just for the word of Christ to reach far and wide. Do you think it was easy for people to journey from Judea in Israel to places such Antioch in Turkey, Corinth and Thesalloniki all in Greece, or Rome in Italy Without getting money from any Tom, sick, or Harry?. I mean these Men of God had no money to execute all these but had to do the work of Christ by all means which they did. They were often fed by the hostile-turned-gentle inhabitants they met in their various lands of assignments. These above qualities can only be found in the early Christian missionaries who journeyed out of their comfort zone, to hostile places such as the entire African continent including Nigeria ,North and Central America including the Caribbeans,Asia, and Australia. Many of these missionaries of whom died knew their final fate but still went on to spread the word of Christ without expectation of MONETARY REWARDS FROM EITHER MAN OR GOD.Their duty was simply to liberate the people and to walk them along the path of righteousness, when this is done, they simply went away to their next place of assignments without establishing their own personal churches, that's why they are called "missionaries";People with specific missions. Some of these missionaries came with their personal money to help out with evangelical works and they reaped nothing monetary or otherwise. That's why today, the Christian Pope has no personal belonging,no wife, no children, no real estate properties, no billions in bank, and no treasures in vaults because he Is on a MISSION! If any Nigerian Pentecostal gods of men possess any of these afore mentioned characteristics of the first generation Apostles, missionaries or, Pope, call me a bastard. If anybody could accurately pinpoint a part in the Bible where the early Xtian Apostles had anything close to a luxurious life, called me a bastard. If the early matyrs ever wore anything exotic in their entire lives, call me out and tutor me. If our Savior Jesus Christ himself amassed wealth and collected tithes from his followers, call me an animal. Christ merely rode a borrowed donkey into Jerusalem and not even a Horse .That itself is a moral lesson that though he is greatest and mighty, simplicity is virtuous for wealth itself is merely an illusion. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jesus told a very wealthy man that for him to become a follower ,he had to first let go of his entire wealth first. The late missionaries who gave of liberation would be rolling in their graves now to see what xtianity has turned out to be in Nigeria. Churches against Churches and followers calling followers of another church denomination fetish. Pastors and Prophets sizing themselves up in terms of wealth and accessories. The more private jets you have, they more holy and Christ-like you are. If you are found with no accessories and wealth, then people would term you an unbeliever not befitting the title "Man Of God" ,and we expect Nigeria to move from where it is to utopia. Look! Let be frank, religion would be our own ruin in this country if don't Checkmate it now. Look at the countries of the missionaries who liberated us all in Europe, they are all Heaven on Earth, where our own men of gods go to lavish their wealth and you won't hear any such nonsense as pastors buying private jets over there. You won't even know they they have Christians and churches over there because their concept of religion is so advanced and unique. They worked for God and their Nations were blessed through them, but over here, our own Pastors work for themselves, and Nigerians become more impoverished. tamethem:When the Ooni of Ife worshiped in a church after his fetish coronation at a Pentecostal church, no one screamed and called the church a shrine, now that Gani chose to worship in a white garment, they quickly label them as fetish institutions. You insult the Moslems for first degree extremism and even label them as terrorists yet, you practice same level of retardness within your own religion. You are just too dumb to be on planet Earth . Imagine you been called an Earthling along with the likes of Elon Musk and Zuckerberg? That's just the greatest crime against mankind. I'm quite sure that with this statement, Heaven will reject you, Hell will ignore you. Purgatory may be your only option because you are just too odoriferous to be in the former two. Post No Bill

Escalze:I am tired of the ups and downs of this country along with its ill-mannered rulers .Instead of the State Governors to also quickly capitalise on this lovely idea to create ranches or "colonies" not for any Fulani or Northerners, but for the citizens of their respective states.By the time the Southerners start producing large and healty cattle for both dairy and consumption, then ild like to see who would patronise the fulanis. Hello! Are you a newbie to Nigerian University education? .What you are passionate about?. The one first thing you should do is to consult your supervisor. When I was in OAU,as an English Language student, I picked a project I was passionate about which was "an instance of Power and Ideologies found in selected texts and Speech(s)of Adolf Hitler during the Third Reich"which belongs to the field of Critical discourse analysis, to my surprise, my supervisor did not only vehemently turned me down, but started calling me a rebel and potential killer. I had already put together all known resources of that project line. Before I eventually found a suitable project topic which he liked (of course, it was his picking) he rejected further seven different cool topics. I eventually ended up analysing Nasir el-Rufai's political texts which was utmost boring. One of my friend research topic was even turned down because it was on Obaiagbon of Edo state, who is very well known. Her excuse was that she had never had of that person in her entire life and even asked my friend what the Honourable does for a living. A whole Federal Honourable and one time Edo State Chief of Staff !!?. The problem is that they are just plain lazy and are not willing to do any further research. Thank God I and some of my friends escaped with a narrow B(60 on dot). So, you see my friend, it's not about what you are passionate about, but what the lecturer/supervisor deems fit to be less stressful and ordinary to suit his own selfish interest .Although, the Institutions always lay emphasis on students to choose project topics which are applicable to the current predicaments of the nation, nevertheless, this should not be applicable to all fields of study afterall the research project is carried out by the students in "partial fulfilment of their Bachelor's degree in..... ". Conversely, this might not be applicable to all lecturers and institutiond but trust me, majority will give you hell on Earth during your project days in an Institution. Anyways, you should have included: 1 Consult your supervisor on a unanimous project topic and, 2 Brace for future impacts. Post No Bill |
Nodogragra4me:Permit me educate you a little bit. The title of Aare Ona Kakanfo was instituted by the Alaafin of Oyo during the 15th century. As at then, the Oyo Empire had already established itself as the powerhouse of the Yorubas and even parts of Benin, Togo and, Ghana. It was very necessary for the Alaafin to create an office for a Generalisimo to precide over affairs of war and also be a leader to the other warlords. |
