They are not Nigerian design buckets.. Innopack is in Australia. The second is made in China. You can order them online if that's exactly what you need.. You can only get other substitutes in Nigeria.

I archived many Job searching tales in Nigeria a year ago in PDF.

It took me 2 weeks of combing the Nigerian internet space, from websites to Facebook comments to forums like Nairaland with credit to many sources. I be wan sell it before, but I will be sharing them freely everyday for undergraduates & job seekers on my Facebook page .

They are interesting stories of how people got their first or present jobs in Nigeria with guides and lessons from every interview. I know many graduates are lazy to use Google but I have done a bit to help. I will be sharing daily for a month on my Facebook page, Omoelublog by 7pm, till I exhaust my archive..

I will be starting by 7pm today. Tell others who may like this to like and follow the page too.

Search Omoelublog on Facebook and follow.

After I have finished sharing, you can bless me like your pastor if you gain anything. Lol.

Our first story is already shared..

See wetin a guy eye see for an interview and how he got the job.

Don't miss this.

You can learn from others.

I'm a story teller.

I love listening to people's stories. They motivate me to know what I need to do more and what I'm doing less.

I do hope someone learns something.

Bloggers, vloggers, comedians, and many others are eating nothing but adverts, and even mainstream media houses like TV stations and Radio houses. They can't pay staff without Advert placement. Look for these people!

I explained a lot in my new book "Making money with small businesses in Nigeria" - it explains little ways we can use to promote businesses, and opportunities we can tap into in the creative industry among many others..

There are a lot others are doing to get customers, make money that you may also may love to read about. I explain a lot in this book. It's a book for everyone.

By 15th Oct, it will be available for you in your email with just N2, 500. It's a book you can read like a blog article, keep and read another new insight the next day. Trust me, you will learn new things. You can pre-order or tell me to keep a copy for you.

By the way, for people that wonder why people beg for others to follow them on Twitter, or why people celebrate 10,000 Instagram followers, well, it is not farfetched, it is because of side money like this. No one advertises with people that don't have followers. So people with followers that celebrate their increasing followers, and do give away to get followers are all doing business codedly. All these things work together. Use your social space well!

You can make more money online! I get small money from many services from people here. I have been busy with extraction of words from an audio file since morning. 2 days ago, I was asked to develop a content on a programme. All these don't come freely. They support my existence.

You can do something things too but you need to learn and read wide for yourself. It is not everything that people will come here to be telling you. Some don't even have that time to teach others. Everyone is minding their businesses. Don't become unused.

Embrace social media for your business growth.

Use your space for business growths too. It is the little way to support ourselves.

Learn from Jaiye! Actors that are waiting for scripts alone may soon be forgotten. Look around they are many that you wonder where on earth they have been hiding.

The system is crowded everywhere.. Alternatives are always available.

Open your eyes!

©ỌMỌ Èlú

We shall continue from here tomorrow..

Did you learn anything here today? Your comments will be appreciated.

By the way I blog at www.omoelublog.com I write on many things that come to my mind. Lol. From entertainment to business to gist, to history to culture.. Lol

BusinessHow To Make Money With Small Businesses In Nigeria by micronut(op):
I will be writing about ways to make small money online for people in this section and I hope this becomes a long thread someday.

I will be updating from time to time on my business insights.

I hope we all learn from this.

Okay, I will be starting today with a post I shared on my Facebook account today.

Jaiye KUTI - The place of Influencers for business growth.

Now, this a long one. But if you're patient enough, you can learn. Ẹ mọ pe èmi e báwọn hee èrà tí ó lọ́mo nínú. Lol( Sorry for the Yoruba words. It means I talk about things that will develop minds).

Okay, I was watching TV now and I saw our own beautiful Yoruba Actress Jaiye Kuti along with other celebrities in a short Advert clip for Dano Milk. Yoruba movies watchers will know this Madam. It's like another Rachel Oniga in our small local Yoruba Nollywood films.

And I feel happy for her. It shows everyone has their space and can be used to add value.

I have talked about Mama rainbow Airtel Advert here many times and someone said, she was given like 20m for being their brand ambassador for a year I think.. To me, that's something.

Jaiye is definitely not doing this for free too, and this is why we must never stop looking at creativity to make money too. No matter how small it is. You can eat with skills, talent and creativity.

Jaiye KUTI doesn't have to wait for movie roles or scripts to make money here now. These are few of the brands she's promoting. As an influencer, you're doing nothing but being associated with brands. Nothing more than that. Promote their business and they thank you with money.

Today, brand influencing is what many celebrities eat and brands are not joking with them too. Collect 50k to 1M to promote people's business on your social media account almost daily like a paid internet marketer and you can also add other brands from different sectors too.

Odunlade is working with Glo today, he can do ads for first bank the next day, and also another for Independence day shout out paid by NOA or "vote don't fight" election promo by one NGO and life goes on.

From all these, we work with one another to provide service, raise awareness and make money to survive. Brands are now more likely to go after any celebrity for their business promotion, and PR or Marketing companies are now more wise not to just use any of their staff or do auditions for just anybody to promote people's businesses through them, they now look more for identifiable faces.

It is the new business working tool. You either embrace it or fall out of the system.

As a business person, find Influencers to help promote your business. You can't do it alone. There are small and big Influencers and each have both advantages and disadvantages. So look for your size. Your Facebook or Instagram page may not let many people know you more. You can talk to people than just running sponsored Facebook ads that may not yield.

You may be offering a good product or service, if people are not aware of your product, it is as good as if it does not exist. A good product that is not available to many will loose market to many substitutes that are not good.

Nigeria is big, there are millions that may need to know about your business and still pay you - brand influence works.

BusinessLearn How You Can Turn "Rental Business" To A "Side Hustle "In Nigeria by micronut(op):
Rental Business as a "Side Hustle"

Around early 2018, there was this sudden urge by kids in my area to enjoy riding bicycle.. And it was evident to all that this is a new virus that most of them were catching.

Everywhere was filled with kids begging one another for a ride. A boy had gotten one from his parent as a gift and he started riding about the street, which caught the attention of many.

And surprisingly, some others started buying and those who couldn't afford one, were paying their friends to enjoy one.

A sister to one of the boys told me one day that she was shocked when she heard that her little brother of barely 9yrs makes N500 daily sometimes for renting out his bicycle to friends at N50 for 30mins..

The sister may be reading this too... Lol

I also had similar childhood experience.

While I was small, there is this one thing that interests me about going home to our family compound to celebrate Sallah with my grandparents, and it is the joy of renting bicycles behind Ooni Palace from Mosalasi Araromi to Igbodo area of Ife.

Once Ileya festival is knocking like this, nothing makes me feel happy unnecessarily than the joy of going to family house to join my cousins to visit the street bicycle renters to enjoy a ride and we will spend our last card (money) until the pocket becomes empty.

Till today, some of the old men renting out those bicycles to us then are still in business. There is a man called Akpana around Oja tuntun market, Ile-Ife. I wonder how he has managed to remain on ground after over 20yrs.

I passed through his shop sometimes ago and I still saw bicycles there, as he now repairs and sell parts along. - This shows one can live on rents and can move to something else.

In fact it is a cool money, and it has become an age long tradition.

Just like bicycles, cars, motorcycles, equipments, gadgets, party items, appliances, houses, lands, clothes, etc - renting out any of these can fetch anyone daily money just like the little boy that started bicycle business renting in my area.

And it costs almost no experience and at minimal risk to go into many of these services.

In this copy book, that I wrote last year, I have taken time to explore and explain 8 types of Rental businesses you can try or combine with what you're doing already, why people will always rent and why renting will always pay.

The little information here might just be all you need to tie your money down in renting.

PoliticsUnderstanding Journalists: Fani Kayode & The Pressmen's Trap By Omo Elu by micronut(op): 2:22pm On Aug 26, 2020
Probably the biggest news in the last 24hrs in Nigeria is about FFK & The Daily trust Brouhaha.

It has degenerated into jokes like "who is banking rolling you", just like Journalists are also not taking it easy.

Well, I have watched enough on TVs for years to know Journalists worldwide can ask you what may appear and sound like stupid questions truly - yes, very irritating questions, but I have also grown to know how that is part of the profession, and they only want to test your patience and get headlines.

What Femi Fani Kayode did yesterday, is not even surprising to me, I have watched many in the pasts, from press interviews and those from Nollywood can be very interesting, especially in Yoruba film.

You will hear, "ejoor Mr. Lagbaja, ki le le so funwa nipa iku omo yin Gbade, Iroyin to n ja rahin rahin Larin ilu nipe, eyin le ran awon agbenipa ko lo pa omo yin nitori o mo asiri yin kan tenikan o mo".Lol (Sorry for this Untranslated part)

A Journalist once asked Trump if he has regrets for all the lies he has been lying to Americans.. Trump looked at him, hissed, and said "next questions pls". Then he said "if there is no other question, that's all for today". Lol

To me, this is best way to address things that may anger you. Ignore! It doesn't kill.

I have watched many times where pressmen run after people asking all sought of questions and such will not say a word. It is the best practice especially among politicians.

Journalists are never friends of politicians, so I expect a normal politician with history of engagement to understand this ethics and how to avoid trouble. Very funny that FFK fell for the bait and one wonders if he has never received such before. Lol

We all see questions they ask criminals when parading, they leave real issues and ask you funny things. It is a trap, they want to get you annoyed.

The latest one going around this morning is by Mr. Wale Ojo Lanre & Ladoja is a classic example of how Journalists are wired to touch the wire in your brain.

If not, how on earth will you say, "Ladoja, you're not handsome, dull and unintelligent, and you want to be a governor". Lol.

If you try this with 50% of Nigerians they will spark, that's if they don't throw you something like "Iwo ma goo ntie o", (how dare you), not even to people in political class and in high in the society. Lol.

Many people among us here are not "Omo lole lo gbesi wa" (Go and gather swift response). No one has a monopoly of what they could call insult. A typical Nigerian will reply like Fani, and a typical Nigerian will reply Fani back. Word for words!!!

I have seen people already saying they will reply back and forget the Job, that journalist is too dull.. Lol.

I honestly salute that Ladoja response, Ajimobi won't take such likely.

Just as celebrities and bloggers are foes, Journalists are soldier ants looking for politicians boxers to hide, so they can bite you, and you go gaga and off trouser like a mad man.

They write what may not be true, they ask for unimaginable questions, but it is what it is, journalism. Lol

You will grant an interview on many things and the headline they will pick from many things you said on business and life will be from one line where you said, "I love good shoes, good cars or I can't do without Amala ".. Next is "I love good cars and I can't do without Amala - Ajadi". Lol. And readers will be like "who ask you, nonsense. I hate these people sef". Lol

If you don't have buffer for insults, please don't go around with journalists except the one you give brown envelopes to keep shut. Don't, and don't be a public person.

In fact, "Who is bankrolling you" is even a subtle Jab, not really an hard knock for me.

Sometimes, I don't blame people who avoid pressmen, they just want you to fumble. Just like some of our lecturers in school during seminar defence will ask you to write out the formular of Bicarbonate. No be to disgrace you if you must forget? Lol!

And for apology by Fani, it is expected. No one wins the journalists. No one o. Not even when you took time to awash a man with vituperations and recurring insults in minutes.

Well, anyone that follows the media, knows that event is not new. Not new at all. I have watched more than 10 funny similar videos.

In a popular Interview video, A white Journalist asked Sir Ahmadu Bello, one question about the Igbos and how Northerners can't do without them, and the old man got angered and started saying many terrible things about the Igbo's. Many Igbos may never love Northerners anymore if they watch that video. The Igbo's are always dropping comments on that video every time on youtube, and same for the video where the same white guy asked Kaduna Nzeogwu, how the coup guys killed the same Ahmadu Bello, and he relished how the man went to hide among his wives and he was dragged out and taken to a far place and was killed like fowl.. That video too, remains one video that an average northerner may never like.

There is a lesson for all of us in these, beyond the jokes and assaults, and it is the fact that Interviews or press briefings are very sensitive, we shouldn't be reckless with word. If you don't have soft spot for what you may never want to hear, avoid the press.

Beyond that, I also don't know the capacity with which Governors are inviting FFK to supervise projects and Journalists have to find him worthy of having a press conference. Na governor or Minister? Lol

Well, fear press oo..
