As a man, if your mum and younger siblings have to make decisions for you, there is something definitely wrong somewhere. A mother can advise but should not impose.

See I have so many instances and cases around me obviously because most of my friends, cousins, siblings are married. Even my own case that my MIL was proving stubborn because of church denomination.

It seems my mum was a unicorn or just not the average interfering type. She would tell you that you can marry any tribe you want. She would advise you but not impose. She always said that when you choose your spouse yourself, you will work out your issues yourself but if she tries to influence your decision, you will bring every single issue that comes up to her. And that is not how to live .

My point is that a child should know when their mum's interference is unreasonable. Usually the female children figure it out and fight it but the males are too blinded by "mother's love" to figure it out.

Thanks Hakeem. There are few things i'll like to learn. Take for example interpreting STAAD PRO's analysis contours well. I'm sound with CSI applications but I want to push my knowledge of STAADS to the limit as well. I've seen practically all your videos on youtube bro. Good job.
There is this guy I follow on LinkedIn, he uses STAADs like none I have see on YOUTUBE as many don't really spend time on result interpretation. They just show how to *model* and how to display results. No interpretation.
Modelling building structures is easy But interpreting the results of non-building structures properly with STAADs is what I'm in need of. You can recommend YouTube channels to me. Maybe I've bn looking in the wrong direction.

What I see is a steel Pedestrian bridge, and I can bet you, it wasn't design. Just a look at the bridge material after collapse, and you'll surely be convinced a road side steel fabricator was contracted without any proper design.
More also, pedestrian bridges are usually design statistically under various load cases, putting into account a factor of safety for overall performance.

Exactly my thoughts as well, looking at the so called bridge, calling it a *STEEL* BRIGDE is an insult to steel design . Rubbish.
