Sierusvirus: Bro, I had in mind to clear the word BROKE as regards to male and female but decided to read through before seeing your post. Assessing a male and female, who are broke. Both are broke unless acquired inheritance but let's assess after University, using the population, we have more of females than Males at ratio 10:1. If one guy is broke that means 10 females are into poverty broke condition, if 10,000 guys are broke means 100,000 girls . Shocked hearing broke girls saying they can't date a broke guy. [b]That guy referred to as broke are more buoyant than them ooo[b]. I just observed that they like talking to get attention which is in their nature..... Before you call somebody broke, do assess yourself very well to know if you are better ( Not sleeping around with man to get money but earning your money for working or handwork) then you can speak, apart from that, put yourself or house in order True.... |

pocohantas: The things you should have in mind when dating a broke guy is...
You're not doing him a favour...That he is broke doesn't make him a less human or privileged to have you. That you're with him means there is something you prioritised above finance, something that appeals to you. So, you're not as 'nice' as you think. The way you're singing how your friend didn't collect money, so?
With money or education comes a change in taste and perception ... This one makes me believe your story. When you have money, you begin to wonder how somethings and people appealed to you. That's the truth. I know a man who gave his wife money to bleach when he became rich...
Humans are selfish...The average human would step on toes to satisfy himself, that includes when choosing a partner. With money, comes more choices...don't be surprised if he puts his long term happiness over your supposed loyalty.
Some of you spend so much time encouraging and developing him than yourselves ... You are always praying and encouraging him, when do you make out time to pray and encourage yourself? Remember with money comes change in taste. When he hammers and becomes digital, you're still analog... You didn't develop yourself in anyway, probably waiting for him to get rich, so una fit enjoy. His innate human selfishness might begin to manifest.
You're not indispensable ...Some women think because they supported a guy in whatever way they think, he owes them his life. Yes, one good turn deserves another...but don't rub it in his face.
Always help because you wanna help...not always because you want something in return...being marriage. It's only human you thing longterm, life thinks different sometimes. Didn't regret following you... Nice |

Me then, would tell them that employers usually favor graduates with a federal degree than those with a private degree. Mehn that was high level of hating. So I can definitely identify a hateful comment. Though I went to Bells sha. , Lol funny you.... |

SoldierBoy1: not so true Bro... I'm a student in one of these schools and I know a lot of bright minds who their parents just don't want them to go through the hardship they went through while in school.... I tell u a very good environment helps most private University students... No strike, lecturers are compelled to come to class, very good accommodation and so on. I tell you if government's universities can adopt these things the same thing would also be happening because there are a lot of bright minds also in government universities just that they are subjected to the wrong conditions. Though I would also acknowledge some private schools are bad eggs dragging others collectively into the mud. Much respect for this. |

SPEEDEPITOME: Op, there are different cases involved here. Introverts are not necessarily quiet, they just mostly have issues keeping friends. You can be an extrovert and be shy. Lack of self confidence is not the same thing as being introverted and vice versa. No, it doesn't take self confidence to hang out with people. You might be an introvert and still be outspoken and have self confidence. And hey, being introverted doesn't mean you don't have a sense of humour. You are right there.. |

Most people that finally get close to me confess they don't know I even talk. I'm just too reserved. And the demons I fight, I don't want the whole world to know about. Sometimes I get too lonely or I'm bored out of my wits. But it's the life I've chosen for myself and it's quite peaceful. I rearely get bored though, can stay indoors for a month without getting bored. |

Career › Re: Any HSE Professionals In The House? by micxwell(m): 1:05pm On Jul 19, 2017 |
First I'll like to appreciate everyone for their meaningful contribution to this thread. God bless you all mightily. I took OmaniPadmeHum's advice to stick to ISPON certifications at the start as a newbie. I took a stroll to the Oyo State ISPON secretariat yesterday, I met with the receptionist and the state chair-woman. I found out the following;
#As a graduate (B.Sc/ HND), one will start with General HSE (Cost N45,000 + Form N 2,000 = N47,000) which will last for 5days (9am -5pm daily). Exam will follow on the fifth day. ND holders maybe asked to start with HSE 1, 2 (Can't say cos I didn't bother to ask).
#After General HSE, one can follow it up with HSE 3 (Cost N25,000 + Form N 2,000 = N27,000) which will last for 4days (9am -5pm daily). Exam will follow on the fourth day. (The form for General HSE is different from the form for HSE 3, as the certificates are different).
FOR THOSE ON THIS THREAD WHO WANTS TO KNOW IF TAKING THE BASIC HSE CERTIFICATIONS FROM OTHER TRAINING CENTERS IS OKAY/RECOGNIZED According to the receptionist, she said it has become compulsory for those employed in HSE oriented fields to register with ISPON no matter how far they've gone with certifications. To become a registered member, they require you to have their General HSE and HSE 3 certificates. All this Basic HSE 1, 2,3 being advertised all over the place won't do one any good because they won't accept it if one is to become a member of the institute. UK HSE offered by novelle centre is good cos of it's affiliation to BISO but what's the use if ISPON will still tell me to apply for their own basic HSE courses if i'm to become a member? We all know the answer. The lady showed me a form of a guy who just applied for membership, she said the ONLY reason they accepted he's application was because of the NEBOSH certificate he attached to it, but not the HSE 1, 2, 3 he did somewhere else. That may not be the case for other states though i.e. they may not accept a NEBOSH certificate as they did for the guy.
With General HSE and HSE 3 one can become a member, get a job with God's favour and grace; then one can continue to climb the ladder just as many has advised on this thread.
For the registration to become a member, it costs N40,000 as at yesterday (that's the price in OYO SATE don't know of other states).
Other information are available in the attached pictures. God bless you all.
