THIS IS DEDICATED TO ALL MOTHERS WHO HAD A STILL BIRTH OR HAS LOST A PREGNANCY. When the PT strip showed a double line Four lips smiled That a new life is prepping Formation mode initiated by the most high First forty days, a zygote Another forty days a "meat-like" lump Another forty days is your bone formation And here the almighty made you living @ first scan, I saw a movement In mummy's tummy, you were forming I didn't bother about ur sex as at then Too early to decide said the scientist On every antenatal, I'm always with mum As a role model father, I insist I become Scrutinizing every drug like I was the one To take the dosage after meal, all@ once He is a boy! Exclaimed the scientist I never asked him but he claimed as he'd seen I praised the almighty for his deeds A second scan revealed this. The scan said u'll arrive on october 2nd On the 2nd, we waited for every second We went to the hospital on a thought called second Then the same scan said you have returned. How excruciating a pain it was One year down the line my tears still drop Your tender body I carried in a B/bag wrapped up It's not easy to loose a child, O GOD. |
It's not because youtook ciprotab as a brand, even if you've taken another ciprofloxacin it might have occured that way. You are suffering from "photosensitivity reaction" a major side effect with group of drugs called floroquinolones and such feel gets worsened with exposure to sun. Treat the side eeffect as they appear and stay away from sun for now cos in some cases,it's very life threatening. Unfortunately, there's nothng you can do about it as it appears in 1% of population that takes the drug. And in that 1% , it's 100%. Sorry dude |
Awolowo(37)Akintola(36). Ahmadu Bello(36),Balewa34,Okotie Eboh(27) led the struggle................................. I'm usually lost in thought, whenever I see this write up recirculated to serve as motivation for the present youth of the country. Though I can't completely ostracize the youths on this,i think the youths are unjustly blackmailed. Comparing the effect of paracetamol on the aching body to that of diclofenac is not only a medical flaw but also a great imbalance to the molecules in question. I'm old enough to not only hear the story but also had a feel of what life and living in Nigeria used to be as compared to the present. It's purely a case of a watered weed in a fertile farm compared to a weed growing through perfectly interlocked tile. Like in 7up, the difference is clear Truancy, thuggery hooliganism e.t.c brought the likes of. Oyenusi and shina Rambo to the lime light but what stood firmly upright then was systemic functionality and outstanding morality which was quite cheap to come by. As far back as Adam, kids disobey parents, there was armed robbery likewise prostitution but were all low profiled, strongly condemned and antagonized by continuous morality and hence people in such acts are like aliens. I'm not trying to justify immorality but an enabling environment will always aid a better outcome @alltimes. Some of us @27 are more environmentally conscious than our founding heroes but what brought out the best in them was the enabling environment and a system that works. Where University students don't have to "hustle" to feed. And job options were available for ALL grades. Our founding fathers did the best they could but doubt if they ever imagined a Nigeria of more than 170million population. Our generation occupies a subset of the "fault" equation but the projection of the "then" generation was not astronomical enough as obvious in our constitution and road networks. The Nigeria of now is not entirely our fault but a case of "the gods are to be blamed" or NOT KAYBEE. |
If u are a good one and a proffessional( well trained), u'll convince angel Gabriel even though you are a sinner. Proffessonalism is it. It's magic and it pays except for GNLD and INSURANCE! |

Great Nairalanders............. A friend's dad has been missing since 9days. Attached is his picture, He's about 60years old with partial amnesia( forgetfulness) @ first we thought he went to one of his houses in lagos,(he has three) but ironically he's nowhere to be found. We've officially reported at police stations and media houses. We believe he's still alive but we fear he might be mistaken for a pauper(due to his state of health cos he might have to beg to feed for survival. His grandchildren has been massively worried that "grandpa" is AWOL. Any info about him will be well appreciated. Thank u Nairalanders.

I'd always imagined which one would a female patient prefer for All cases including antenatal, O&G e.t.c Would you prefer a friend or familiar person or just a stranger doctor outrghtly? |
I don't know if this is the best medium but I expect MOD to do the needful. Amidst massive traffic due to the Reddeem christian church of God convention, a 33000 litres tanker is presently spilling its content @ magboro. Though the trailer has parked but the leakage is much, about a paint bucket volume in 5seconds. The redeem traffic started around 2pm yesterday and it has extended to Magboro from the camp site. It's best to imagine what could happen if a spark occur. As "usual" people have started scooping fuel from the tanker. This is an eye report cos I stay there. Thanks MOD |
I totally agree with you. But we all should be reminded that subsidy removal was never the total problem but the fact that the partial removal (SURE-P) was a comprehensive scam as the populace didn't benefit @all. A gradual removal of subsidy till total removal and implementation. Of. The removal will surely go a long way. |
[quote author=Built2last post=33965728]I totally supported GEJ when he removed this subsidy in 2012 and i will support GMB to remove it. nonsense we cant be held to ransome by some greedy vampires who think they are doing us a favour. let petrol rise to 200 naira and see how investors will flood the market. giving us the right to choice. if subsidy is removed, competition will crash the market in less than two years. why cant we make the sacrifice now and enjoy later but NO, we remain the most impatient people. |

The announcement about increment in charges, by default, was not particularly an exciting news. Despite that, most of us ;maybe due to No or limited option gladly responded to their unjustifiable increment . Did I just say "unjustifiable?EXACTLY! Because unfortunately their service refuse to improve and it's terrifyingly annoying. Especially in the aspect of repayment of Subscription(it takes about 3days. To get reconnected after several "self SMS, call to customer care e.t.c), uncontrollable repeat of movies or programmes and general depressive service at all times. Is there no business mogul out there to create. A good competition? DSTV SUCKS! |
I don't know why I keep having a different perspective to GEJ acceptance to defeat. For me, I don't particularly see him as a HERO of democracy but an outright situation of restricted options. For real 3million votes can only be contested by an slowpoke. Couple with GEJ's antecedent it's quite ironical for him to just "accept defeat" I think the ever glaring watchful eyes of the UN,AU e.t.c cum the massive anti GEJ votes are enough as depressant. Don't even think he has an option of inciting war;he simply can't cos his "eru-ikus" are known cowards with selfish interests that only engage their buccal cavity to ensure a raise in temperature of the polity by some. certain degrees. What is this guy trying to say? Exactly! My point. Is GEJ is a circumstantial HERO. I rest my case. |

Some of us talk as if we don't have grandparent nor understand the ways of some grannies. In yoruba land,MOST village oriented grands will insist on living in their mud house as that depicts their pride of existence and not a city where they won't "free" their mind. Beyond either he is or not osinbajo father, taking care of one's parent go beyond flashy car or house. You'll be surprised how content the old man is living in that house. For some POLICIED yorubas;that is all. That matters. An ideal yoruba man is never a slave to money, they prefer to be known for lasting lagacies than. Money. The "money-crazy" yorubas are the pirated omo oduduwa. You can never depict how much of care the old man is availed via judjing by the pix alone. Bi isu eni ba ta,a fi owo bo o je ni............... #teamyoruba# |

Friday the 13th. It was a day before Valentine’s Day. And the year was 1976. Lovers across the world were perfecting plans on how to surprise their mates. Some were considering yellow roses while others settled for a day lapping up the tropical sun on Bar Beach. The morning started out like any other. Lagosians were getting ready for the daily hustle and in no time, traffic started building up. The Lagos deity was awake and the nation’s capital responded to the crows of the cock. Ever dutiful, the 37-year-old Nigerian Head of State summoned his driver, orderly and aide-de-camp. It was time for work. Without the slightest hint of anything sinister waiting for them despite many labelling a 13th February an evil omen, Nigeria’s 4th Head of State and the unwavering commander of the Federal Military Government (FMG) hopped into his official car, a black Mercedes Benz limousine. The driver shanasenjin-ed (started the engine), proceeded along their normal George Street route. The unassuming group headed for the center of power of the black world’s most populous nation -Dodan Barracks. Meanwhile, all over Lagos, humanity poured out onto the streets and the traffic slowly gained momentum. In little time, the Head of State was caught in the Friday traffic. A simple leader with populist ideas, he had no speeding convoys, refused heavily-armed security details and preferred to stay in the traffic with his ‘Fellow Nigerians’ until it eased. They were all calm while some other drivers kept glancing at their much-loved and admired leader. Some shouted out at him with joy and excitement while some others waved like their limbs would fly off the torso. Like a Hugo Chavez, Murtala felt a deep connection with the people and he must have been surveying the area full of his loyal and smiling compatriots, many peering at him through their cars when all of a sudden… ____ Like a dark scene from a horror movie, the Mercedes conveying the leader was suddenly ambushed by a handful of well-armed soldiers as it snailed its way through the traffic. The terror that ensued upon firing the gunshots was instantaneous. Nigerians adulating their great leader just minutes ago fled the scene in a matter of seconds for dear lives, drivers abandoned their vehicles in the traffic and put Usain Bolt to shame while mothers grabbed their toddlers and scampered off to safety like terrified gazelles. Claps of thunder coming from guns sputtering iron-hot bullets filled the air. There was chaos. The putrid smell of disorder was choking. As in, it was a real igborotidaru moment. In a few minutes of blood-chilling anarchy, the young Nigerian leader was hit and it did not take long before his smart uniform was soaked in warm, fresh blood. Murtala had been assassinated. Muritala was dead. Gone. The nation would not recover -not even 37 years after the carnage. Welcome to the world of one of Nigeria’s most remembered leaders. Nigerians very rarely shed tears for their leaders but if there is one who evokes so much emotion, pity, ululations and tears, Murtala is the man. For many Nigerians, he gave the ultimate sacrifice for a nation he fought for, and is considered a national hero. ___ Yes. Tenacious. Incorrigibly unyielding. Very very very stubborn. Charismatic. Highly mercurial. Extremely determined. Disobedient. Kind. Very quick to anger. Very religious. Brilliant. Ambitious. Incredibly courageous. Bold. Impulsive. Selfless. Unpredictable. Rebellious. Patriotic. Imperfect. Populist. Popular. Fierce. Fiery. Those are the exact words that come to my mind whenever I remember General MURTALA RAMAT MOHAMMED, Nigeria’s hot-tempered legendary leader of uncommon tenacity brutally cut short in the prime of his life by a tool he once controlled and mastered -the bindiga (Hausa for gun). #COPIED# |

Pa Ajasin's family has given PDP a stern warning against using their father's predicament to score political points. They clarified that their father was never jailed by Buhari's administration as blackmailed by PDP. "Our father was only detained like all other governors to be investigated and was released when found innocent" the source said. Our father and our family has since forgiven Buhari cos all he did was in accordance with process as at then. Source:www.deen4realnews.com |

The tactful delay in timing to respond to the certificate saga is simply strategic to ensure publicity from opposition. In addition, Buhari beign a trained and successful general(nationally and internationally) and. Beign an. Elder. Statesman can NEVER yield to cheap propaganda by hungry FFK and desperate PDP |
