Acidosis: The JAPSA account is not the regular savings or current account but a Term Deposit (Fixed Deposit) account. It's clearly stated in your post. Term Deposit is not Savings account or Current account.
So, it's not meant for everybody. That's why the opening fee is N500k instead of 1k or zero naira. It's an investment account which allows you to grow your funds over a period. You don't get ATM card, withdrawal slips, PIN, and the likes.
What should bother you here is what the investor stands to gain in return. The sad news is that nobody on this thread can answer that question unless you approach the bank and negotiate/interact with them.
This thread is very pointless IMO. faridasr: All they say is profit sharing ratio crap depending on how much one invests. It was very frustrating for me too. I had to ask if they could give me an idea of what investors earned previously, but all you hear is "its difficult to say what the profit would be". I find that kind of dishonest. Why can't they give examples? |

faridasr: Why would i lie? Just sharing information I searched for but couldn't get. Searched online but there was nothing. Recently got a car loan and wanted to fix the money to see if it will grow. First tried access bank and I got about 6k after 30 days, then moved the money to Jaiz and got less. I have since bought the car as investments don't work in this country. Thank you for this. little wonder the banker I met refused to give me an idea of what to expect despite how hard I tried. |

olayinka63: After reading your message, I went to the closest jaiz bank to enquire about japsa. The response is that you will get 35% of the profit made on your 500k within your investment period. investment. For example if profit of 10k is made, you're entitle to 35%which is #3, 500. This percentage profit will increase depend on your investment amount and period. I asked about loss, and he said it's rare recording loss. Thank you very much. |

Nice one!
Even though I feel the activist should channel his activism towards enlightening ladies on the dangers of leaking their nudes to every tom, dick and Harry the more.
You should never ever send your nude to anyone, not even your husband. If your husband wants to see it, take him to the other room and show him in 3D...And if you think your nudes will be in safe hands when you send them to him(cos he is your husband), you never can tell if his friends or concubines have access to his phone and when they would want to get back at you or blackmail you.
Let the worst case scenario be you sending your nude to your husband without the face or anything to give you away. |

joseph1832: you say there isn't enough locally produce rice to go around that's why it's expensive, right. Now since there isn't enough to go around why didn't the government wait for there to be enough to go around before they close the border.
Think about it, there isn't enough local rice to go around and it's expensive, now that the border is close what do you think will happen to the little local rice that is around? The price will triple and who will bear the burden?
There are business that brings in good money that will never be flooded because the capital to start it is something else.
The federal government is making a very big mistake with this move. I hope you know the price of chicken have gone up now? of course I get your point. The government was too strict to have closed the border outrightly but it's all for good, I maintain. If the government's to wait till there is enough to go round before closing the border, there will never be enough to go round. This is because people like you and I are already too used to foreign rice and are not ready to give the local ones a chance...and for as long as we have foreign rice flying around, we would continue to go for them...thereby discouraging producers of the local ones For instance, I used to buy my rice(foreign) from baruten local government in Kwara state for as low as 11500, at max 12k. But since the border was closed, I only bought a small rubber Paint of rice for #1500 with the hope that before we finish consuming it, the borders will be opened again. Bro, I am saying this for you to know I am also feeling the heat...but truth is, I have been into agric business for sometime now, and I have noticed when there is too much of a farm produce in the market, we the sellers don't gain much..in fact sometimes, we lose(like it was experienced last year). |
