Will there be any hindrance in me getting a study permit, if One of my siblings(Elder Brother) and his immediate family has been granted PR through the express entry Path, having included my name as one his siblings during his documentation. Is it something i should mention?. Or just include his name normally in the Family details Section of the Form? |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by mightyola: 5:53pm On Sep 18, 2017 |
Austinpee4: IF they are your sponsors and If they are currently in the US and to show their current immigration status, you should. Otherwise, you should use them to establish hometies if they are in Nigeria. Any identity documents would suffice if the latter is the case. My dad is relocating in 3 days time and my mom is not yet. My brother and sister are my co-sponsors and are in U.K and the States respectively. My maternal Uncle is my main Sponsor, who is also in the States. what's your take? |

Austinpee4: Sure. Please can i include my parents U.S permanent residence Docs, will that help also. |

Austinpee4: Yes, he is. Immediate family members are not 3rd party but sometimes, CIC still mention siblings sponsorship as third party. I guess parents are the exceptions. Can't say for sure. Thanks so much. One more thing, can my sponsors scan all the supporting documents to me,including the letter to the VO |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by mightyola: 6:11pm On Sep 17, 2017 |
Austinpee4: It is not a must but to convince a VO, it may be necessary especially if your sponsor is a 3rd party. An affidavit is a binding document and it is tenable as an evidence in a court which makes it credible. Thanks. Is my Maternal Uncle a 3rd party?. |

RetroBoy: Hello house. I applied for a Tier 2 visa on 14/8/17. The application went through the whole TLS process. I got an email from Sheffield 10 days later that the application had been received. I decided to make enquiries on the 15th working day(yesterday) and I was told a decision had been made since 01/09/2017 with my application dispatched to the VAC. I have tracked the application on the TLS' website but the latest update is 'Application received'. Is there a way to contact TLS about my application? Has anyone had a similar experience? Thanks. Any luck on your passport? |

smoothvee: Yea exactly.. all am saying is that my friend that I applied befor him got his "admissible letter " before me so I'm just looking for someone that has winter 2018.. to know if they've gotten.. cos I uploaded uncertified transcript..instead of certified like they demanded. So I'm just making sure I've not been bounced. Mayb my friend got his "admissible letter stuff cos his program is for may 2018 Call their international office, the number is on the site. |

smoothvee: They've not told me to pay the 2300k sef... just receipt of my received payment. Buh my friend that just applied last week was told yesterday to pay the 2300. His program starts may next yet while mine starts September. So I'm confused " They've not told me to pay the 2300k sef... just receipt of my received payment."..Please explain further,is it the $100 App fee you are referring to?. You need to wait for them to write you, that you are admissible for the programme, and that's after they have gone through your application and credentials, then they will ask you to make the payment, before you are given a provisional offer letter. |

smoothvee: The man... I applied to Fanshawe too.. advanced film production/making. Winter 2018 too.. they sent me confirmation of my receipt buh they haven't said much if I should pay the 2300 for full admission letter.. so I'm thinking maybe because it's still till may that's why they are quiet. Cos my friend applied as against may 2018.. and they already told him to pay... have they told you to pay? Have they sent you a full/Provisional admission letter/offer?. |

Please House i need advice. My Maternal Uncle is my sponsor and he resides in the States. I am a silent reader here, and i have read in past threads that to make a good solid case with the VO,its advisable your sponsor transfers the money into your account. Now with the challenge of the CBN forex policy, it would be a nightmare for my Uncle to transfer about $26,000 USD to my account. Secondly, since i would still have to change this money back to CAD. OR how can i go about this, i am looking for a suitable way to satisfy the VO,without giving my Uncle headache and being frustrated at the same time. |

veifiedceejay: Hi Everyone. I'm happy that I came across this thread. I applied to fanshawe college for(ISM1) and I receive a Mail saying I should pay $2300(in 30days) for the processing of my documents to continue. Please Is that normal? And please how do i pay this tuition deposit. I've paid for application fee through my master card and I don't know if it's possible to pay the 2300 same way or to go through the bank And how? . I saw somewhere on some threads back that I will be asked to pay the remaining balance few weeks after I get my admission letter. Is that true ? I noticed people posting success stories here are MSc or Bsc applicants . Why is that so. Please I need help. Anyone in fanshawe college or has gone through this Pse lease it's urgent I also applied to Fanshawe College(NSA 1) for the Winter 2018 programme. I guess its the college's admission policy,to pay this deposit before they offer you a full letter of admission. I suggest you pay your 1st semester full tuition. And i doubt you can use you mastercard to pay for that 2300,so just go to the bank to process it. I am a silent reader here, but I have been following the threads. |
