There you go. 20 or some what days to go. You should have probably ordered your notes a long time ago, but facing the situation at hand now, Check if your school has a "Hard Policy" for resumption for international students. This might give you some more time in Jan for resumption. I'm sure you will hear from them before the resumption window elapses. Good Luck Kendrick213: i have ordered already 10days ago... |

I am sorry for your delay. what was the initial reasons for denial before you ordered your GCMS notes?. Did the Notes shed some more light as to why you were denied,or was just generic?. This might help people that are not convinced that the notes are of any good. If I can read correctly, your notes says " The applicant completed a bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 2015 and has been working since April 2018"- 3 years gap, what were you doing for those years?. " He now wants to start a three year program in chemical engineering techniques at the Mohawk College at an estimated cost of 26,284 Cad/year. The applicants letter of motivation is succinct and vague; it does not demonstrate the relevance of such studies at such a cost in Canada"- I think all this matter should have been properly explained in your SOP. Finally, at least you know why you have been denied a visa, do the needful and reapply. May Your destiny lead and guide you. Good luck ghabrhiel10: No evidence of travel history presented. The applicant completed a bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 2015 and has been working since April 2018. He now wants to start a three year program in chemical engineering techniques at the Mohawk College at an estimated cost of 26,284 Cad/year. The applicants letter of motivation is succinct and vague; it does not demonstrate the relevance of such studies at such a cost in Canada. Therefore for all the reasons mentioned above, I am not satisfied that the applicant is a bona-fide student who meets the requirements of the IRPA and who will leave Canada at the end of his/her authorized stay. Request rejected |

I think he wrote a statement of purpose and not a letter of motivation. Bear in mind that he translated the notes from french to English, sometimes you don't get the exact word in verbatim. Kriff: Sorry about the denial. The VO is quite blunt though but that is because you were not convicing enough. How many months have you being working prior to your submission? You were working in what field? How many pages was your letter of motivation? What was your reason (s) for choosing to go for that course? Letter of motivation, as I know, is always a short letter and why did you choose to write letter of motivation instead of Statement of Purpose or Personal statement? |

Your UK visa wont influence your Canada study visa application in any way. Secondly, "I should stay in the UK any advice will help", are you asking if you should stay in the UK indefinitely? or are you asking if you should apply for a study permit in UK with a visiting Visa?. hamkid1994: hello house please i need your advice I have two Canadian student visa denial in 2016 and now I want to apply again and I have already paid tuition fees, am in the UK for two weeks holiday so when am back to Nigeria I will apply for the visa in which my UK visa is still valid because it is multiple entries my question is what is my chance of getting Canada student visa? or I should stay in the UK any advice will help thanks. |

I may be wrong, but from what I understand is that LOE is Letter of Explanation which clarifies the issues of visa denial, while SOP is Statement of Purpose, I believe we all know what that is. So my question is,for those denied TRV, do you need to write both SOP and LOE? hotcakept2: SOP and LOE are they not suppose to be same? |

I went for my F1 student visa interview yesterday in Abuja; everything went well thanks to this forum. The VO approved my visa and told me to have a nice study at the US. She handed me the white paper with the information on how to collect my passport and another small paper which stated congratulation on being approved F1 visa to US. The paper contained information on what to take along to the US when travelling. To mt surprise, I checked my status and it has been showing administrative processing. Only for me to check it now and I saw REFUSED. Please does anybody know what is wrong? Thanks. |

Thank you oo. Whether VO in Syria, Iraq, Timbuktu,Zimbabwe,Libya or Mogadishu. Just put your documents together, do your best. What will be will be. Pray to God. Let your Destiny lead you. Naijaforeigner: Let me say this loud and clear, do not let anyone put fear in you unnecessarily.
Why are you choosing online? Is it cos you need your passport or cos you are trying to avoid “Kenya demons”? If the latter is the case, then you are defeated already. It is a mindset game.
There is no demon anywhere that can stop what is yours when you have God with you. Put all your documents, make sure there are no errors in your LOE and SOP, put in hard work by reading through past pages, submit your application and put the rest in Gods hands.
Don’t let anyone put fear in you, carefully choose what you need on this forum and discard what is not necessary. Good thing is no one here is the VO.
If you end up been delayed, reapply cos it is not the end of the world. |

My application status is still on background check.
Documents submitted: All cic documents SOP 2 and half pages Birth certificate Resume SSCE certificate NYSC Statement of results for bsc in banking and finance, and MBA. Original certificate still in process. Bsc was 2008, MBA 2012 Transcript for bsc, just sent that of MBA the day before yesterday. Proof of finance: My dad's acct of a little over 3m, pension statement of almost 5m & sponsorship letter, My uncle who is a citizen and co sponsor just attached his employment letter showing how much he earns (no acct statement or fund transfer, he works for government of Nunavut though), citizenship certificate and sponsorship letter. Employment letter, no letter of introduction from company Company ID Up front medical done on July 31, 2018 Police report done August 15, 2018
I had no landed properties document though I am a first son to my dad, but his houses have no full documentation which I didn't have the time to purse.
I decided to put my full details for those who still doubt it's impossible for post graduate diplomas or certificate applications to get approval. Funny enough I even have a masters. And I'm 31 Secondly, I work in customer care telecommunications, and stated in my sop that I wish to change career path to project management to avail myself with abounding project management jobs in telecommunication. So career path change is possible. Lastly, based on what I have seen here I wouldn't say I have strong home ties, I just stated in sop that I needed to better myself as a first son to be able to take care of my parents and 4 other siblings.
If my application was disserted here, truth is I would be told not a tight application . But I did my best based on what little I had available and relied on God to perfect everything, and I strongly believed... Thank you Jesus. I wouldn't lie I didn't fast and pray, but I prayed fervently.
I just did a implant hardware removal surgery for a tibia fracture I had in an automobile accident last year. Have to walk with crutches for at least 3-6weeks until holes left by screws have healed considerably, but that won't stop me from bursting into vfs on Monday.
BTW... For those who have done ppr, hope I can get my passport back before Friday on 26/10/2018 as I'm to resume work on Sunday being 28/10/2018.
Please forgive my long epistle, I'm so happy. For all trv hopefuls, don't give up. I'm a living testimony. |

Well..I think 10 years ago, it was still easy for organisations to apply for a work permit for foreigners with exceptional skill-set, but with time the avenue for such has become nearly impossible. Hmm..My brother..I can only say one thing. If you lived in the US for 10years and didn't Violate any Immigration Policy or law, which i think is what they are trying to find out, then just keep your fingers crossed,be prayerful and hopeful. jnyuwa02: Yes I did include police report from the USA. I have only lived in the USA, but travelled briefly for a few weeks on vacation to a few countries. Just a little thought... Did you submit all your police report for all the countries you have lived in, while submitting your application. Did you engage in any form of paid employment while away and did you state them on your form?. jnyuwa02: Reapply for what? I have not been denied. My application has been pending one year now is what makes it ridiculous from the school's point of view. Might be bacause I have a lot of travel history, lived 18 years outside of Nigeria. This fall 2018 was my last possibility of deferring my admission. It was also my last chance to show up or have my highly coveted scholarship cancelled and given to someone else. I was a no show cos CIC refused to process my application despite numerous emails. It was all generic replies that your application under "active processing." It appears from the school's letter that they may be willing to have me resume in January 2019. If so, praise the Lord! What a year it would be to enter 2019 starting school in Canada. God has been so good to me in my lifetime, this would be another big testimony when it happens. |

My brother,as for me and I doubt anybody can change my perspective towards this. There is no blueprint as to follow in applying for a student visa, no pattern or no "WELL PACKAGED APPLICATION". We have seen applications that you would expect to be thrown out,but got approval, and we have seen applications that looks like a VO's "MANUSCRIPT" and yet was denied. For me, what will be will be,play your part and let your destiny lead you. Gracias!! Austacus: Sorry bro, it is well. What I noticed was that your eligibility review started and went back to a background check The two guys that experience this got a refusal bullshit(you and @mightyola). Does this mean when your visa cross to eligibility review, chances of approval is high? Gurus in the house, what do you think about this? And why would eligibility review reverse back to the background check? Dem miss road at first? Cause when both of they complained initially I was thinking it was an internet glitch (honestly these VOs are making this visa thing completely unpredictable) |
