I stick with KJV of the Bible. King James himself took a bold step for making the book accessible to his world. Within the limits of human errors and translation, it is not easy to accurately translate word for word from one man to another.

The most dubious of all transactions I ever read is the New Word Translation. The translators and their proficiency in the languages of the Bible are not known. The mispresent John 1:1 by claiming two god's: God and god. This translatin presents two gods and teaches idolatry.

King James is still the best and most popular today for language and arrangement and presentation. I don't really see any other versions that can dethrone it.

I am not a Yoruba major myself. I studied engineering. When I began to hear certain things on the media and films different from what elders say in the village, I began to find out which is correct.

To answer your question, especially, the media houses, which are primary outlets for promoting our language and heritage, they should be more professional.

In Nigeria today, professionalism is played down. For instance, I taught Physics and Mathematics for few years after school. I was not a professional teacher. I believe a teacher by profession should have done better.
In the same vein, rather than doing audition tests alone or in addition to it, media houses should also test proficiency in Yoruba language or a sort of training geared towards broadcasting and acting to be made compulsory. That one seems impossible because to secure jobs in Nigeria is on man - know -man basis. When we continue to hear correct things, it will sink into our memory. We need not learn ifá at all. It is all about standardization.

Even in engineering practice in Nigeria, standardization is eroding away. For instance, no standards. Hardly can a week pass without news of building collapsing and killing people.

I don't really know, maybe our government agencies can intervene.
Most of us educated people even, do not want our children to speak our language or dialect in Nigeria here not to talk of those in diaspora. So it is becoming even a hopeless situation.

They left in faith and God honoured our prayers. That baby is now 9 years old. What an awesome God we serve.

Denying miracles is denying the existence of God. Don't stay in a dry place and stop operating John the Baptist kind of Ministry. Miracles are real.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in touch with the supernatural hand of God. Your life will not be dry. When everything fails, the Almighty God will show up and show off for you. For your delay, you shall have double blessings. "Miracles no dey tire Jesus". Ask for one anytime you are in a fix.
