They make it seem like they're performing some social responsibility with their personal money.

i very much agree with you. Wisdom and caution. It's just really pathetic when I scroll through the front page and all i see is extremists, Pharisees and saducees busy ranting about who goes to hell and who goes to heaven. Even Jesus Christ during his sojourn on earth focused more on winning souls through sheer humanity.

He didn't go as far as rebuking sinners at the slightest provocation. But you see Christians today are becoming worse than the Pharisees and Sadducees of yesteryears.

Well, as much as it is wrong to take d place of d Judge in matters, it's still important to point out evil when one is sighted. In our days, many ppl do evil with impunity &mostly get away with it (so to say), while the chorus of 'don't judge, he who has no sin, etc' is everywhere. Rom 1:32

Jesus in his time was very sure of his assignment on earth&had all d wherewithal to fulfill it but in our time, even so-called ministers aren't sure of what they claim to be called to do, let alone their followers. Lk 6:39

Moreso, grace has been abused & soul-winning isn't what it used to be. Nothing changes in d lives of d so-called convert&d only change is dt he is nw seen attending a church, where he'll soon be given a title dt gets into his head. Then he soon bcomes a minister& d cycle continues.

Talking abt ppl being pharisees&sadducees, it's d impunity dt evil doers display dt make some ppl burst out with d only threat they av - hell. Injustice pervading our land isn't helping matters either.

Maybe I'm not used to seeing what you're talking about but I don't view it dt way. Humans can only be either enticed or scared to do d right thing. As for d former, there's really nothing much to entice ppl with in this life that most don't already have or know about. Therefore, it may be helpful to let then know dt some doom awaits who ever is living wrongly, irrespective of all they've amassed. It should however be done with wisdom &caution.
