OdionOdion: APC used to be a potent drug for the treatment of certain ailments but of recent these viruses/bacteria have developed resistance to the APC. The APC political association as it is currently will need to return to their political research laboratory to purge themselves of the religious fundamentalist, terrorists, traitors, renegades and thieves. If APC want to be taken serious to root out PDP in 2015 then Tinubu, Buhari,Rochas and Amaechi are bad omen for APCGBAM! |

MAKHACHKALA, Russia (AP) — A female suicide bomber injured at least 11 police officers and civilians, including two children, in the southern Russian region of Dagestan on Saturday, police said. Police spokesman Vyacheslav Gasanov said the bomber blew herself up in the central square in the provincial capital, Makhachkala. He did not give details about the injured children. Since 2000, at least two dozen women, most of them from the Caucasus, have carried out suicide bombings in Russian cities and aboard trains and planes. All were linked to an Islamic insurgency that spread throughout Dagestan and the predominantly Muslim Caucasus region after two separatist wars in neighboring Chechnya. The bombers are often called "black widows" in Russia because many are the widows, or other relatives, of militants killed by security forces. news.yahoo.com/female-suicide-bomber-injures-11-russian-region-093917646.html |

The bombers are often called "black widows" in Russia because many are the widows, or other relatives, of militants killed by security forces. The Tsarnaev brothers suspected of carrying out last month's Boston marathon bombings, are ethnic Chechens who lived in Dagestan before moving to the United States. Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed a shootout with police days after the April 15 bombings, spent six months in Dagestan in 2012. Dagestan remains an epicenter of violence in the confrontation between radical Islamists and federal forces. This week, a double explosion in Makhachkala killed four civilians and left 44 injured, while three security officers and three suspected militants have been killed in other incidents. Human rights groups accuse security agencies of abductions, torture and extrajudicial killings of civilians that further fuel the confrontation with Islamic radicals. news.yahoo.com/female-suicide-bomber-injures-11-russian-region-093917646.html ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Region that broke away from Somalia in 1991 is still waiting for international recognition. People in Somaliland are marking 22 years of self- declared independence from Somalia, but they are still waiting for the world to recognise their region as a country. Celebrations were held in the capital, Hargeisa, on Saturday, with people holding rallies, waving flags from their vehicles and staging shows in various stadiums. Somaliland, which is more tribally homogeneous than the rest of Somalia, has been striving for international recognition since it broke away in 991. Ahmed Mahamoud Silany, the region’s president, told Al Jazeera on Friday that, despite Somalia's calls to be united with the region, Somaliland is determined to retain its independence. "We would like to remain friends with Somalia, we would like to cooperate with them. "But as far as our independence is concerned. It is not I who has decided, it's not my government who has decided. "It the people of Somaliland, and the history of Somaliland, which has decided that Somaliland is going to be, and has always been a different country." The UN and the African Union have both rejected calls to recognise Somaliland 'Oasis of peace Having escaped decades of conflict in Somalia, Somaliland, which sits on the Gulf of Aden, employs its own security and police forces, justice system and currency. Al Jazeera's Nazanine Moshiri, reporting from Hargeisa, said that while war has raged in Somalia for decades, Somaliland has managed to unite its people. m.aljazeera.com/se/2013518171147675511 |
