Mpeace:Kindly post Seplat's target too if you know it. The Oando target was mentioned by both the company and the minister. Knowing what a company plans to achieve in the near term will always help in our analysis and investment considerations. Waiting for the actual could be too late sometimes. Oando's price jump is good example |
Mpeace:Oando is already targeting 100,000 barrels per day by 2025 (going by interviews by senior officers and releases) Their current production is around 40,000 barrels per day The factoring of the ExxonMobil deal into Seplat's current price may be deceptive. The price will surely rise when the deal is complete and announced officially. Oando is a good reminder, the price rose sharply after the official announcement of the completion of the ENI deal |
Omooba77:You see this useless and hypocrite Ribadu? He, as EFCC Chairman, told Nigerians that Tinubu , as Lagos Governor was corrupt. Today he has rushed to receive appointment from the ''corrupt'' Tinubu. Now, they are blaming smugglers. How many smugglers have been caught and jailed for you know that it is truly smuggling that is the problem? Where is the evidence? |
zendi:If Oando should make just any decent profit in HY2024, even like N20b profit, it will overshoot the N200 mark. It is undervalued when compared to Seplat and also to its own potential. |
Lithiumite:Don't mind the ignorant, noise making liars They just try everything possible to throw in the name of Tinubu and Oando in everything that has to do with NNPC and oil and gas. Apart from that, truth be told, as per the economy, Tinubu is a disaster as a president. He is clueless, incompetent and a failure |
Zaheertyler:Foolish talk . While the president himself us buying yatch and private jet, a d senators are Cole thing N21m per month. Nonsense. |
godlyguy:Lol! Is Oando a human being?I like your sense of caution, though. All the best |
megawealth01:This Unity Bank monitoring looks legit! I go chook head when I get some cash. Thanks for the info |
Harvestock01:A question about strategy! |
ogododo:Nigerians should rise up and shut down the country until the useless, clueless and incompetent Tinubu and his government reverse the fuel price hike, otherwise this country is doomed in his hands. He has nothing good to offer! |
Chiemeriee:Foolish article. Talk is cheap People who have achieved nothing meaningful in their lives trying to talk down a successful industrialists like Dangote. Why has the author has not gone ahead to build a refinery and produce fuel for himself! Empty barrels making loudest noise |
Biodun556:The church should not have mentioned NAFDAC because once you do that you indirectly invite NAFDAC to scrutinise and pass judgement on the water and soap. But I also believe that God can truly use anything through an anointed pastor or prophet to heal people. NAFDAC cannot detect or confirm such healing power in their laboratory. |
Newlymarried:Absolute Nonsense! What did Tinubu do as Governor in Lagos that was extra ordinary to justify any hope of a good performance as president of Nigeria? Did he manage inflation;, did he manage exchange rate; did he manage cost of fuel; did he manage cost of living; did he manage unemployment; did he manage insecurity in Nigeria as a whole; did he manage international trade and intl relations? Absolutely not! So Lagos or any state cannot be used as a yardstick to judge who is competent enough to be president of Nigeria All Tinubu did was to impose taxes and extort money from all avenues in Lagos. Anybody can do well as Governor in Lagos because the avenues to generate revenue are already in place, e.g. the ports . Let Sanwo-Olu go to Ekiti or Osun State and let us see if he can be able to construct a single major road or bridge in 4 years because there are very few avenues and opportunities to generate such revenue. |
2zona:SEPLAT would surely produce a higher EPS because of lower OS than Oando. But the prospects of relative growth might be higher in Oando because they are just being turned around and revamped e.g. Oando may experience higher percentage growth in profit, EPS etc |
2zona:I hope all the people talking about the NNPC-OVH deal and the ENI-Oando deal based on the lies, mischief, propaganda and politics can now listen to Oando's side of the story and decide. It will be massive if they achieve 100,000 barrels per day in some months from now, especially in 2025! |
iwaeda:Nigerians need to rise against this useless, clueless, arrogant Tinubu govt. NLC and TUC should mobilize to shut down the country if that useless president refused to reverse the fuel price increase . Nonsense! |
Ojuntana:Oando was selling around N10-N15 six months ago. Provide the timelines of when other companies complied with the NUPRC requirements for them to sell their oil wells too, like ENI-Oando deal, and then compare to see if the allegations make sense or not. Mobil had a case in court which affected and delayed the approval process. The issue was just recently settled out of court by the parties. |
godlyguy:I am also your brother, whether you accept me or not ! If you have any stocks that can bless people and myself, please release it and my soul will pray for you for ever. I am not here to fight anyone because of Oando or any other stocks. The other stocks that I know will do very well in future like Oando are(if interested): 1. Intl Breweries 2. Honeywell Flour 3. Somebody (Megawealth) also recommended Unity Bank May God bless our hustle to make money via the NGX and use of this platform to share ideas. |
godlyguy:Okay. I agree with you perfectly. You are super correct. It is also my opinion that those of us who have Oando also know and understand that we can be entrapped in Oando because of the large OS.. We can even lose money Since that may be your genuine fear, wish or expectation. That is the nature of the market anyway. We already know that. You can say it again and again and again and again for ever. But we already know it too well so anyone saying it does not make a difference. This is also an opinion, okay? |
Fareke:The NLC and TUC must buckle up and be ready to fight this useless, clueless and incompetent govt. They should declare a total strike and shut down the whole country until the govt reverses the hike in fuel price. Otherwise, this govt will kill Nigerians |
ProphetUtuocha:Thank you, ProphetUtuocha. Your effort (and others) providing insights to help folks to make money via Oando and other stocks is appreciated. Please remember to release the other gem that you promised. Oando may be become too high, saturated and unavailable, so we need the other stocks as well to diversify. No apologies to those who take offence at the various interests in Oando. Na opportunity to make money we dey look for, not to fight or use irresponsible and rude street and gutter language on anyone here.! |
godlyguy:You said you don't have any unit of Oando and you are not interestef in it's shares.. So you are not affected by the risk it carries. Good! Let those who are interested in Oando be the ones to worry about the poor results and the risk it carries. Why cry more than the bereaved? |
godlyguy:Okay. I understand and agree perfectly. It is true. You may also consider the fact that someone may also express their views about your views, and you express yours about theirs, and they express theirs about yours etc and the list goes on. Anyways, your opinions about any stocks is welcome, including Oando. It may be helpful in some way. |
godlyguy:Lol! Indeed! So warning people about premium tears because of Oando is your "responsibility" ? |
godlyguy:Tell us about the stocks that will give us premium joy better than what Oando is giving us right now. That is what is more important. We have all shed years at one time or the other in life, so it is not news What we want now is the premium joy. Give the good news, not always the bad news. |
godlyguy:Oando ran into financial difficulty after buying Conovophillips for $1.5b in 2014 and could not pay dividend since then. But the same company was paying N2-N3 dividend per share in 2008-2011. |
Ojuntana:Lol. You are trying but don't seem to understand the whole picture of what is happening. Oando is not delisting. They cannot just delist without holding an AGM for the shareholders to vote and approve it, and the SEC to give approval too. It will take at least 2 years from now if Oando is to start the process on their own because it will be a different process from the one in court If they try to delist, they must pay or buy each share at the highest price in the 6 months prior to the AGM that approved the delisting. And Oando share price keeps rising. So they may have to pay like N100 per share or more if they attempt that. The company is the one to lose if they try that. I bought my shares (millions of units) at N5, so if the company must pay me N100 per share for them to delist, why should I worry.? They need money to support the operations of the company so delisting will not help them for now. Theses are some of the issues involved. The shares may even rise to N200 or N500 in few months time and they will have to pay the highest price in the sixil months before the AGM |
Ojuntana:Who told you that Auditors opinion are static and does not change when the fortunes of a company improve over time ? Wait and read the same auditors opinion when Oando release their 2024 and 2025 results |
Ojuntana:The real experts are the people with industry knowledge who are investing in Oando shares and making billions of profits for themselves and family. Let the critics and politicians do their investigations into Oando, NNPC-OVH deal and bring their report. That is not something to worry about. Noise making does not mean telling the truth based on facts! |
Ojuntana:I have explained the same NNPC- OVH deal to you but you would not listen or learn. You have the right to be unhappy with the useless president Tinubu and his bad governance and incompetence but dont bring in Oando just because of the name of the Oando CEO, Wale Tinubu |
Feldie:The NNPC ,-OVH deal is not strange. All the noise is because of Oando's former stake in OVH. Go and read about merger and acquisition of companies and also Corporate governance so you can understand better. Also go and read the STB/UBA merger. How did Tony Elumelu who was the CEO of STB become the CEO of UBA after the deal! |
godlyguy:What does "initiate" stand for or mean? The first to make a move or request. Was it Oando that made the first request to the Court or they responded to an initial request ? |
