Ojuntana:I was taught and educated by people who did not get tired whenever I repeated my mistakes and errors. So we must not give up easily when we see others committing the errors we did in the past and were only fortunate to get people educate and liberate us out of ignorance. It is not about Oando. Most Nigerians just like to peddle falsehoods and lies against rich or successful people, just because of politics, tribalism, ignorance and mischief. That is a reason the country is full of ignorant majority who end up voting for useless and incompetent politicians who deceive them several times and again and again. NB: I am not a fan oft Tinubu; he is totally useless as president, a failure and grossly incompetent. |
nedekid:I have never been to anywhere. But I refused to be misinformed and misled by the sheer lies and lies being spread and propagated by ignorant and mischievous people because of politics or tribal bigotry. My question still stands: which deal has Oando signed with NNPC in the last 2 weeks? |
Saao:Please, try and read some text on acquisition and merger of companies, as well as corporate governance,. This is how how we all can learn and educate ourselves and not join in making ignorant noises. If I establish a company called ''moa'' using the initials of my names, I can sell the company to another person, and the person can still decide to retain and use the same ''moa'' as the name of the company he bought from me. The company no longer belongs to me, but belongs to the new person, even though he is still using the old name ''moa''. That is what happened between Oando and NNPC, but the name ''OVH'' is getting people confused, believing that OVH still belongs to Oando. OVH is now owned 100% by NNPC because it had been sold to NNPC years ago. |
MadPolitician:There was no guarantee that Nigeria was going to win the case against ENI. How many cases has Nigeria won in international courts or arbitrations that you know? ENI was already leaving the onshore segment of the Nigerian oil and gas sector and they were not producing maximally from the onshore fields, hence the government could not get the maximum revenue from those fields. But FGN needs revenue badly, so they need to keep those oil fields running and working at optimum levels so they can generate revenue for the government. The court case could drag for many years while govt is starved of the much needed funds. So the FGN had to find a way to resolve the logjam so that the oil fields would be put to good use. This was done for ENI, Shell and Mobil (I think) so that other Nigerian companies can put the onshore fields to better use and generate revenue to the government without much delay. People only talk about Oando because the CEO is related to the president. |

I asked you, which deal has oando signed with NNPC in the last two weeks? What you are showing does not make sense. It is the ranting of someone who is equally ignorant. A deal is a contract between two or more parties, signed and sealed. So what deal has Oando signed with NNPC in the last 2 weeks? |
Namaster:Refer to the bolded. What you typed show how ignorant you are as far as the stocks market is concerned. Oando is currently selling at about N90 per share. The same Oando was selling at about N200 per share in 200-2011. That was more than double the price it is selling now. There are several factors that affect the price of stocks in he capital market, and it is determined by market players. The same Oando was selling at N3-N5m some years back because there were no positive news to ginger the interest of investors. There are several companies that have witnessed astronomical price hike on the stocks market, and Oando ill not be the first or the last to experience such. Tinubu is a failure and clueless, but we cannot just be spreading lies and hatred against Oando just because we don't like the president who happens to be an uncle to the CEO |
KarlTom:Lol! ![]() What are your eyes seeing? Please cry out if your eyes cannot see again ooo! Don't let Oando do yoo-yoo for now |
tishbite42:So there are no other directors of other companies that have been appointed by this government? Must everything about Oando be shut down and destroyed because Tinubu is now president? |
KarlTom:Lol! ![]() What are your eyes seeing? Please cry out if your eyes cannot see again ooo! |
yMcy56:Yes, I know several other people highlighted the potential in Oando. I referenced ''no shaking'' because that was ProphetUtuocha's usual way of expressing confidence in Oando. Personally, I also discovered the potential in Oando years before I started reading ProphetUtuocha's prophecies. But at a point in time, he seemed to be the person who was bold enough to stick out his neck for Oando, when almost every other person was doubtful, unsure and even scared of Oando's prospects. He even predicted a 400% gain in price before December and insisted that all his prophecies would come to pass, even in the midst of not-too-good news and poor results about Oando, which have all been surpassed in August!. No other person had the confidence and audacity to do that! His confidence actually encouraged someone like me to keep my Oando units. So he deserves some special commendation, while I also acknowledge every other person that made some positive inputs as well e.g. OGG, DeRugged Prof, PeteRichy, Megawealth (his only headache is Wale), yourself, etc |
yMcy56:Thanks, no shaking on Oando (credit to ProphetUtuocha). They will come back and meet us in there and will struggle to get in once more. The bad economic news about increase in fuel price and VAT is partly the cause |
yMcy56:Thanks, no shaking on Oando (credit to ProphetUtuocha). They will come back and meet us in there and will struggle to get in once more. |
KarlTom:Is the Oando price falling or rising? |
megawealth01:That is because most of the so called civil society critical media groups who were very loud and all about the place during OBJ and GEJ era have all been compromised. Unfortunately, not all the regions and zones in the country cooperated during the last protest, as some decided to dissociate themselves and did not join. So the govt sees that the people are not very united, hence they can afford to do anyhow. |
Payunsin:Yoruba people have a sayin that ''he who must eat ''gbi'', must know how to die ''gbi'' ''! The ''gbi'' here means ''heavy''! So you must have a way to survive the heavy disappointment (or fall) if the heavy projection (price gain) fails you. Oando is for those who want to eat ''gbi''! But it will surely deliver in the long run |
JAOS:This useless, clueless and incompetent president is still talking |
2special:Do you know what you are saying? Which deal has Oando signed with NNPC in the last two weeks? |
Kokomaster69:What kind of assistance has Kyari rendered to Oando through back doors? And please, do not mention the lies about OVH because OVH is 100% owned by NNPC since it was acquired by NNPC from Oando years ago! |
brotherly:There might be some feelers from Oando's yet-to-be released H1 2024 financial results that is fueling the price surge. |
GeeKudi:Where and when was the so-called ''consensus'' held virtually with ''everyone'', and with whom?. I did not give any consent to any useless subsidy removal and floating of the Naira. Only a foolish president would just wake up and direct its central bank to float its currency overnight, without any stakeholder consultation or engagement. It boils down to the empty arrogance of the Tinubu govt who thinks he is super clever, Why? Is Tinubu more intelligent than previous presidents/govts. that refused to float the naira or what does he think he is?. Disaster is what happens to any country, African for that matter, that decides to float its currency in an import-dependent economy. You first said, ''subsidy is gone''. then you went back to devalue your currency when you know that we import fuel into the country for virtually everyday use. Common sense should tell you that the best thing is to manage the exchange rate and never to allow the artificial, invisible hand of 'free market'' to dictate your exchange because that is recipe for disaster for an import dependent country |
naturalflow:Lol! ![]() That is what you wish to happen.....even up to N1,750! Clever guy! Let Oando breathe! |
Yourprick:So the FG/NNPC increased the fuel price in order to enable Dangote to sell at higher than the previous price of N650! |
stcool:Lol! No be today. I have been in since when people were dumping Oando at N5-N8. It is not now that I would be scared of holding it further. I know my target, and I will sell when it gets there. But no Jijo for me right now. Oando wants to make a point, and it will rise above MRS and CONOIL in few weeks/months time. |
GeeKudi:My stockbroker wants me to do Jijo by selling Oando now and buying back when the price falls. But I am not doing shit! |
megawealth01:Please say it. People need to voice out! The govt is just totally useless and clueless. Just packed his Lagos boot lickers and gave them FG appointments in Abuja with nothing to show. Very nepotistic, incompetent govt. It is just a pity he bears same surname with the CEO of my Oando. |
olig:When I say Tinubu's govt is useless, clueless and a big failure, this is the just one reason. A govt that does not think well before it acts will only end up throwing the people into crises and suffering. He has created a huge public image and credibility trouble for Wale Tinubu and Oando, all because of his bad government policies |
Payunsin:Oando has now become what the Yoruba call ''Igbo Odaju'' i.e. a dangerous forest for only the mean, brave and strong-willed heart. Do not enter if you cannot stand the horror! |
maasoap:Tinubu is just useless, clueless and a disaster! But I try to separate his uselessness and disastrous govt from the Oando issues, because I have been following Oando long before Tinubu collected APC forms to contest for the presidency |
MARKETJJC:Eterna cannot be perching on Oando for ever! Where was the ''Eterna team'' when Oando fans were under huge stress and pressure waiting for countless court adjournments? Plus the mockery from those who do not believe in our team and our coach (Wale)? Even twins get separated when the time comes. Eterna fans must watch out, We cannot continue to play ''fixed friendly matches'' for 10% daily gains! |
megawealth01:My man, just do the best from your good heart, and leave the rest for God and posterity. Remember this forum is full of the good, the bad, the ugly, the stupid and the wise! If you have something that can benefit humanity (generality of this forum), be kind to share. Those of us who appreciate will thank you for it, just like we thank ProphetUtuocha for his Oando revelations. But he was also insulted by some people. How many of the 10 lepers that were healed by Jesus Christ came back to thank Him? |
Pete002:I suspect there is some deliberate effort/attempt to make sure that Oando's price rises as much as or higher than the price of MRS and CONOIL which are downstream companies |
Mrexcell:Where would you see Oando retail? Don't be deceived by the lies and propaganda. NNPC Ltd (Headquarters, Abuja) is the owner of all its retail outlets, including NNPC Retail Ltd and OVH Ltd, which was sold to NNPC several years ago. Oando is no longer the owner of OVH! |
