thinkmoney:Can you tell us what Hamas did on October 7? There is a rule: do unto others what you would want them do unto you! |
AndyCole16:Do you know or understand what you are talking about? How did US/Israel do systematic cleansing of their neigbhours starting in late 50s? The people who vowed to destroy and obliterate Israel from the surface of the earth when State of Israel was formed in 1948? These people are terrorists and their aim is to kill and destroy all Jews and Israelis anywhere and everywhere in the world and some of them take it as a religious duty and obligation to do that! So what do you expect from Israel? Do you expect Israel to just sit sown, fold their hands and be killed and exterminted by Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthi rebels etc? |
ppogba: ![]() |
ppogba:Your concerns are valid, but the answer to your concerns is right there in your question....to come like a ''thief in the night''! Thieves don't come when you ''expect'' and are ready for them. So be patient...you will see the results unexpectedly..... like a thief in the night ![]() |
AndyCole16:This is not to support anybody. But bad things happen in wars. That is why it is not good to start any war. And also, go find out what Hamas did to Israeli babies and children........and then see for yourselves |
megawealth01:The way you are sounding about Wale recently, it seems very suspicious to me. It is unlike you. Please let out the gist if you know or heard something. |
Cyberterror:This is not bout the sanctions. This is about the senselessness in Iran just firing missiles without aiming any strategic assets or human targets in Israel. No need fighting a useless war just because you want to show that you have weapons if the weapons cannot overpower your enemy and you still end up losing your people, assets and country |
God1000:Congratulations if this makes you excited.. But tell us the casualty figures in Iran and Israel and how many military officers have been killed on each side |
Krisuba:Open door for who? Them know you? You better gate-crash by force and enter the place ![]() |
ahmedio2017:You are the one telling lies. Iran closed the Strait and even attacked some ships that were not linked to US and Israel. I think the ship belonged to Thailand or something . Now they are opening but trying to be clever to say only enemy ships are not allowed. Trump would have destroyed all their oil facilities in Kharg Island |
ositadima1:This your idea of promoting a biased opinion as the truth is what baffles me about your posts on this matter. If Israel is not at the receiving end, then who is? Israel has fought several wars with the Arabs but Israel NEVER attacked them first. The Arabs are always the first to start the war! So who is at the receiving end? Which side has vowed to obliterate, destroy and wipe off the other side from surface of the earth? You are okay that the UK and US granted Statehood to Egypt, Lebanon,Jordan, and Syria. To you, their Statehood was NORMAL. But to you. the UK and US gave Statehood to Israel "BY FORCE". In other words, Israel should not have been given Statehood, and their land should be Stateless, divided amongst other usurpers in the region? The fact that you are referring to "occupied West Bank", shows both your bias and lack of understanding of the strategic propanganda at play.. "West Bank" is an English term which was coined by Jordan to describe the Western Bank/side of River Jordan) after it captured Judea and Samaria during the 1948 war and subsequently annexed it in 1950. But English is not the natural, traditional or local language of the indigenes of the place therefore the place had its original, local, traditional name. So can you tell us the original, historical name of the place so called "West Bank" before it was captured by Jordan in 1948? Why would they call one side of the river "West Bank" (which is in the Israeli side) but there is no place called "East Bank" on the other side, which falls under Jordan? This is to tell you that "West Bank" is a coined term, a strategic propaganda to hijack the place from Israel because calling it by the original name (Judea and Samaria) would undermine the plan and make it difficult to erase Israel's historical connection to the land or deny Israel's ownership and access to the place.. Apparently, they cannot call the place "occupied Judea and Samaria" because everybody knows the history and fact that Judea and Samaria belong to Israel. It is like calling Onitsha a new name of "East Bank" (of River Niger) in order to remove the original Igbo name, history and connection, of the Igbo people to the place so that other tribes could claim it as theirs. They have extended this same strategy by changing the names of major towns, landmarks, historic, religious sites etc. from their original Hebrew or Jewish names to Arabic names. For the instance, they now call Jerusalem, a new name "Al-Quds". Places like Beersheba, Hebron, Shiloh etc are now being called new names in Arabic. The plan is to erase completely anything that would link the cities, towns, landmarks, sites etc. to Israeli history, culture, religion, tradition etc. In recent tines, the Palestinian Authority gas been systematically demolishing historic landmarks and sites in the place. But this is what you fail to know and have decided to swallow that propaganda hook line and sinker. |
U Mattswaggz:/Ghana got independence 3 tears and 7 months before Nigeria! So what do you mean by "imagine even Ghana..." |
ositadima1:Stop using after thoughts to rationalize inaccurate assertions. The Jews never left the land in totality. There were always Jews living in the land at every point in history though they became minority after the land was atacked and conquered through ages. The Arabs did not welcome the Jews as you want to make us believe. They never wanted Israel and the Jews to exist as a nation and some of them believe it is their religious obligation to exterminate the Jews from the earth. The mere fact that they refuse to recognize Israel up to date is enough proof. |
ositadima1:You see how you expose your own inaccuracies and lies? The second to the last paragraph (in your post above) states clearly that the Jews accepted the 1947 UN plan to split the land but the Arabs rejected it, leading to the 1948 war (just at the establishment of State of Israel) Yet, In one of your earlier posts, you said the Arabs initially accepted the Jews but the fight/confluct was caused by Israel's quest for more land.! My friend, stop pretending being an expert in this matter. |
Jangbajantis:He was killed by Israel. America is busy with the naval operations while Israel is handling the airstrikes that is aking out the Iranian regime one by one |
ositadima1:I say don't refer to Australia and America. Bring it home. I ask you this: Would it be proper and right for the dispersed people of Plateau and Benue in the future to return to the land they left behind decades and hundreds of years ago after they were attacked and killed by Fulani herders and terrorists? It is strange how you prefer an obvious injustice to be "normalized" as the ideal situation because it happened somewhere else. |
ositadima1:If those who lived there before the Americans can assemble and organize themselves to reclaim their land, I would be fine. From your analogy, the people of Plateau and Benue states can and should never come to their ancestral land which they abandoned when they were attacked and massacred by Fulani terrorists? Is that what you are saying? |
ositadima1:This is disgusting mischief, lies and ignorance woven together! You make it sound as if the Arab had the right to decide who lives where and did the Jews a favour! What is the business of the Arabs if Jews were returning to their ancient Jewish land.? For your information, the Arabs declared wars IMMEDUATELY after the State of Israel was established. There was nothing like "acceptance" by Arabs. For instance, Jordan attacked and conquered Judea and Samaria, Jerusalem, Hebrone eyc during the 1948/49 war, annexed and re-named it "West Bank" in 1950. Israel recaptured the place in the 1967 war and then, all of a sudden, some people started calling the place "Palestinian occupied territory" |
ositadima1:Thank you for this. Now, go back and read it once again You just confirmed that the land belonged to the Jews. Case closed! The "Professor" title awarded to you still stands, until you profess something wrong, or misleading or fallacious |
ositadima1:You are getting it mixed up! What is causing the problem is SOVEREIGNTY over the LAND. It is colonial masters or rulers that declare Statehood and they do so when they are satisfied or pushed to do so based on various factors or circumstances. And why are you so obsessed with the fact that Israel was not a State before 1948.? . Can you answer why Egypt was not a State before 1922? And why Jordan and Syria were not States before 1946?. So Israel in 1948 is nothing unique or strange. But this does that mean that the LANDS with people with history and culture did not exist. Every country or State in this world had indigenous people with history and culture existing or living on a paricular LAND before the LAND was declared a State. The LAND must have been in existence before a State, not vice versa. There had been people with history and culture living on the LAND before Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya etc became States in the 1950/60. There were always Jewish population on their land even when they were under different colonial rulers and when the land was conquered during different wars. They were never wiped off completely even though in the minority so they could not muster the strength and courage to push out the strangers that colonised their land. If you do not know or understand the circumstances and history behind how some Jews found themselves in Europe and across the world, then you may not be competent enough to discuss this issue. I am afraid, the " Professor" title that was awarded to you is now under serious re-evaluation and scrutiny. Kwantinue! |
ositadima1:This shows your undiluted bias against Israel and total disregard for historical, cultural and scientific facts and truth! You must have been swallowed completely by the lies and propaganda from channels like AlJazeera, Press TV etc The LAND of Israel and its kingdoms of Judea, Samaria, Gallilee, Jerusalem etc existed more than 3000 years ago alongside Eqypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan. True or false? King David established Jerusalem as the capital of the LAND of Israel over 3000 years ago. True or false? There is a long chronology of Jewish Kings who ruled over the LAND of Israel? True or false? The language was Hebrew. True or false? The LAND of Israel, like Hebron, Beersheba, Shiloh have the graves and tombs where their ancestors and prophets like jacob, Joseph, Isaac, Rebecca, Leah, Esther, Jesus Christ etc were buried. True of false? The Romans ruled over the LAND of Israel just as they did over some other placess in that region. True or false? By your post, you prefer that all these facts be sacrificed and thrown away in order to satisfy and pacify the Arabs (most popular ethnic group?) simply because they don't want the Israelis or Jews in their midst? So Israel and Jews should be obliterated and wiped off the place in inorder to make their adversaries and people who share your sentiments to be happy and peaceful? Tell me any single book of history of the LAND of Israel and its neighbours that is more factual and authentic than the Bible and Quran? Put the Bible aside and read Quran chapter 5 vs 20-21. Is that a "pretext" too? Where do you find a place called "Palestine"? Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Israel have been neighbours for more 3000 years and they experienced colonial rule at different tines. Egypt became a State in 1922 when it gained independence. Lebanon became a State in 1942. Syria and Jordan became States in 1946. So why single out Israel for becoming a State in 1948 and forment trouble and wars because of that? From your post, you seem to infer that Israel should never have become a State and their land should have been divided and shared amongst new settlers simply because some people never wanted their existence or presence in the region? This clearly shows that the problem is from the Arabs and not Israel. The Arabs waged several wars against Israel and lost lands in the orocess. But Israel has returned lands to Egypt, Jordan after they signed the peace pacts. |
GeeKudi:Probably the directors want to accumulate more units at N50 before the price jerks up for other schemes. But I agree with you that they could have waited a bit llonger and do it at a higher price. |
nurudeen181:It is a lie. There is no civilian use of nuclear energy that enriches up to 60% Uranium unless it is for weapons of war. Once it gets to 60% Uranium it means the nuclear facility is for weapons and war purposes |
V my Kastonkastroll:There is no land called "Palestine" or "Palestinians" in history or geography. The people calling themselves so today are nothing but Arabs who took advantage of the exile of majority (not all) Israelis to usurp the land of Israel. The owners have returned to their land and the strangers must either live in peace with the owners or leave. Period! |
opadiya:Your earlier opinion i.e. going private may still happen in future i.e. after the merger, initial listing on NGX and then an AGM approves the decision to go private if the offer price is accepted by shareholders |
opadiya:There would have to be an approval at AGM before such decision could be taken. Unity Bank shareholders are currently the majority in number and would not agree to such. In the absence of such approval, the bank cannot go private, especially when they are merging with a public-listed entity like Unity Bank. And it has been officially reported severally that Providus bank is preparing to list on NGX. |
DrMB:The comparison does not say much and the use of price can be very misleading Why not mention the average salaries and whether electricity is constant in those countries because Nigerians have to buy fuel for domestic power supply. A villager in Ghana (for instance) with constant electricity may not be affected much by the price of fuel until when he decides to travel or transit by road unlike his Nigerian counterpart that must buy fuel to have light at home. |
megawealth01:You need to consider the merger ratio plus the existing outstanding shares of Providus Bank |
jonnysessy:Strategically speaking, any of the newly licensed/approved banks that get listed on NGX will deliver good returns to investors. who buy at listing or IPO. Providus bank became of particular interest to me when I read that it is already ranked as the 9th largest bank |
megawealth01:Yes, I know. But I don't see a rational, sensible and prudent person with 2B lacking in basic needs of life, unless he decides to waste it on foolish pleasure |
deathwing:If a stock is selling at N0.70 and it moves to N7-N10 within 3 months and some people make money from it, such cannot be described as nonsense(at the time the call was made), unless the person talking does not understand what he is saying? |
Agbalowomeri:So to you, 2B is not rich enough? |
