like i said earlier, that's what heard. Some people were told to take their's to their faculty. I still have mine with me, i wasn't told to do so. I got home, and some friends told me they were directed to the faculty to drop theirs'. It got me confused. But still i thought i should share the info. It is true. It just depends on the faculty.

Ayanfe, u are in sciences so I can hear more from you, by d way av u been given d yellow laminated FAC of science clearance form? dats d 1 I know FAC of science wud ask for photocopies and d original to get ur matrix number b4 d day of matriculation. but d normal clearance on A4 paper given by d admissions office wud not be asked for in faculty of sci.

In correction to my last post. D 2nd clearance certificate is for the faculty.so u're to taake it to your faculty.

Ayanfe are u so sure of dis, where did u get d info from? Because its not so during my time but dont knw about last year too...my clearance form is lying safe at home, d faculty or dept dont require it for anything. It wud only be requested of u in ur final year b4 u can graduate

Nah, the only thing I've paid is the PTA fee and should probably pay the tuition fee next week by God's grace, I'm just confused with those other mandatory charges (insurance etc)
Someone in the house,ayanfe and co. please put us through. 1. How do we pay those other fees like the insurance and others.
2. Does the amount vary between departments or is the same
3. How many 'other' fees are involved? I've heard of insurance,mobile service,medical and library.

Are u in for education?
1) wapic insurance #350 payable @ accessbank unilag, get dre and talk with d security man u meet at d entrance inside, lagmobile #500 payable to d faculty office at education, library reg #200 at d library, medicals a long process, skip for now.
2) faculty of education is quite easy..pay faculty dues 5k to d facukty acct at uba, nuesa(students union dues) #1500 to their wema bank acct, dont knw wats up at ur dept level.
3) cant categorically say but nothing less dan 5

D issue is this, does ur biodata or payment receipt av any where for signature? Obviously no!, get to DLI on ur specified date with d 3 docs requested of u, I also advise u go with d original and probably fotocopy of ur waec/neco result...lo and behold, d admissions officers wud sign ur SIF and present u a final clearance certificate which shows u av been fully screened and checked.

Submission of student file at d faculty office is d climax of registration processes, u cant submit until u av done ur course reg. Still hold on to it for d main time
