I have friends and friends of friends who have gotten offers to move, right from here in Nigeria.
From Content writers, to Software engineers, to those who worked in the big 4, etc. They all got offers from the same twitter and LinkedIn.

So I am not just saying what I don't know.

But then who am I to really change your reality?

Best wishes.
You need to stop being dogmatic and try to understand my point. Finding a remote international position is not impossible ,very few people have been lucky, but I can boldly tell you the chances is one out of hundred which is really down luck cos many people are also good at what you do. Let me explain this to you, when come across job ads on remote.io , any other site, be it on LinkedIn , Glassdoor or flexjobs. Many other experts from Pakistan, Argentina,India are also applying for the same position. 95percent of the companies are always trying to filter candidates base on location, by giving the opportunity to mostly candidates from Europe and north America . Another way to find the remote job from Nigeria is going through third part recruiting agent such Toptal and Turing which is not easy cos these agencies are also looking for top best 1%.If after my explanation you still don't understand, then the Lord is your strength.

I don't know what your dream is, but if you feel you can't find an international data analyst job directly, you should find other means to migrate abroad.

Truth is, you can't continue to complain about the disadvantage of living in Nigeria, if you want to make any headway.
Have you even being applying for scholarship with your class of degree?
Why not get a decent data analyst job in Nigeria or on freelance platforms and build experience on the way, as you continue to apply for the international jobs.

Again, I suggest you join active data analyst communities on twitter and other platforms.
Complaining won't change anything, really.
Lol, when you get there, you will realise, Did I tell you am unemployed? , Did I tell you am broke? Did I tell you I don't know the importance of moving abroad to land your dream job. I can bet you have not been there , I can bet you have never searched for remote international job.I'm stating facts but you want to keep hallucinating. For your information, am a first class graduate. What am saying is even after acquiring the skills, you need to find a way of moving abroad, cos those companies are interested in people already living in Europe or north America. This is not dreaming, I am stating the reality

I am just beginning my journey towards becoming a data/financial analyst.
But I believe that I can never possess the skills or qualifications you highlighted, and be broke or not get a headway.
It will only be a matter of time to get a break through.
Have you tried the following?;
-Fiverr
-Upwork
-Twitter
-Instagram

If there's still no headway, I suggest you go learn Marketing & Sales.

Learn how to send effective compelling proposals, how to pitch directly to businesses if you can't get the desired remote job.

There's no way that you will be skilled and competent, and understand Marketing & Sales, that you will not get a breakthrough.
No way. Wish you all the very best.
When you get there, you will see these companies are not willing to employ Nigerians living in Nigeria. They are interested in hiring people living in North America and European Union countries for positions they tag 100 percent remote. One can easily get local data analyst jobs though, but if you are looking for international data analyst job, living in Nigeria is a disadvantage

I will advice u not to get frustrated, keep upgrading urself while applying for jobs. The competition is high right now. I have more than that google data analytic certificate, am still applying for jobs and upgrading my skills . use this link....join our discord group...https://discord./HTbw3vNJ
Thanks so much sir . It's really fustrating being rejected not because one is not capable but just because one in Nigeria. On many occasions ,I have been at the point being scheduled for interviews, the moment the company view your LinkedIn page and resume and confirm one is currently in Nigeria, they come up with comments like,"even the position 100percent remote, we are hiring from European Union countries and North America" . I really don't know how people with remote data analyst position got theirs, cos I don't believe it's just about skill developments. I'm good with excel, Sql, R programming , python, Power bi and Tableau, machine learning. I have started courses in cloud engineering, but I'm starting to believe remote job offer is not just about what you can do

very true.

He said 4k after tax so lets say he pays high tax of 40% since he will be earning over 50k per annum i guess that will come to about £5500 a month which is about £90k a year.

But right now the highest tech salary is within the range of £65k a year.
Na you no know wetin you dey talk, why will you say highest paying tech job is £65k a year? That's false sir , some people in tech get paid more than that and the beautiful of it is they can even have more than one job if they are working remotely, so sir , stop saying what you don't know
So this story is lamba.

Computer science will give you a very good foundation in Programming, Data structures and algorithm, and a host of other important concepts you will need in data science.

Data science is majorly programming, your knowledge of mathematics and statistics won't be useful if you cannot implement it in a programming language.
To be sincere, data science and analysis is not that deep . A good foundation in statistics is the best cos one will be using more of excel, tableau and power bi and sql with A moderate knowledge of python .

You know neither of the two and you are bothered about how fast you’d get a job.

Career wise, they are both great tracks to run. If you are smart you’d be bothered with the learning aspect rather than the earning.

Pandas and numpy arrays no be beans o
Stop creating unnecessary fear , pandas and numpy is not that difficult. Let me state the learning process in becoming a data scientist. You can can always learn on YouTube. Start with learning excel , python , then sql , pandas , numpy and then tableau , then you are you are good to go after which you can get google and / IBM certification in data analytics. After which you can start applying for jobs

What app or IT environment does one need to develop this skill from scratch?
Let me go straight to the point . You start with learning python, numpy , pandas, seaborn then you move to sql , excel and tableau .

As in reading the comments here. I realized many people are not wise. So you expect him to support the Sunday in public ?? That will create unnecessary tension in the state. The north fit carry the matter for head and start another tribal war or start asking southerners living in the north to leave or start killing them. The governor is wise.. Condemn Sunday in public and tell him well done in private.

This guy seriously doesn't know what customer service is, you have been lying all along. You don't have an office or any pick up center because you know your shitty service and lying nature will put you in grave danger. You still haven't told your clients why items shipped on the 28th Dec is already undergoing customs clearance, while items shipped before then are nowhere to be found. You sound like you don't even have the tracking no and you don't even know where the items are. It's either they never left the US or they have been siezed. How come you are the only person having this delay till now, I checked the thread of the other guys offering the same service and there's sanity there. They keep delivering and not making silly excuses. You don't deliver on time, you hardly know the location of your items, it takes you forever to reply whats app chats. Everything about you is zero. It's so obvious I made a mistake looking your way, I did look your way cos my regular shipper had too many orders and I thought he won't deliver on time, but alas, he delivered and keeps on delivering. Continue with your lies and shitty customer service and see how far that will take you.
Exactly my point. They keep twisting how things are that one will eventually get to know they don't even know the whereabout of the goods

Agreed, things shouldn't be this way,on the other hand , It was well circulated that all kind of carnival was prohibited on that cross over night. The question is why can't they follow simple regulation, of which I'm sure the youth definitely tried to engage the Amotekun in a battle which resulted in the chaos.

Assists and chances created nko?
Definitely Bruno does that better, go check stats not even this match alone. Check the over season stats of their assist and chances created. The only argument I can accept for Grealish is , his stats might be better if he's playing in a better team

Hater spotted . They have different style of play. You won't see Bruno running at defenders and dribbling but you will see him popping up everywhere linking attacks ,trying to create assist and testing the keeper with shots. With all Grealish efforts this night, if you check the stats Bruno definitely has more attempt on goal than him.
