do we really need to be imparted with the gift of the holy spirit? what happens to being born again. because that is the best way for God to give us his spirit and gift. should we really seek after spiritual gifts?, rather than being born again?. And also what are the benefits of the gifts to a person who received his through impartation vs the one who received through the holy ghost baptism?. well for me I would say that the one who received through impartation payed little effort/price. compared to the one who payed a greater price by becoming a born again. Believe me the grace of the gift on him will be greater. WELL WHAT DO YOU THINK?. well, good day everyone on the thread. I'm trying to read through the current page. I'm at page 47 now. My take on the issue of God using our spirit in warfare is correct. I believe it's possible. His word says that our warfare is not carnal but mighty through God. to this our fight goes on in the spirit world. Do you accept this? the reason I support this claim is because God has used me to fight many battles spiritually. I get dreams of my spirit man engaging in war with demons, dogs, witches, expecially when I'm fired up in prayer. But this act happens without our consent. God actually used me in the battle. so I believe God can also use a spirit filled believer to fight against the kingdom of darkness.#withGodallthingsarepossible

There is this pretty girl in the compound where I live. I started lusting after her thinking it was feelings i was have towards her, and even wanted to talk to her, but something happened that changed my plan o. I had a dream about this girl. in the dream I was in my room.(from my room, you could see anyone that passes through the passage/corridor. so she passed by and when I saw her I called her. she came to the window then I told her to come closer which she did. but something extraordinary happened. she opened her mouth close to the windows as if she wanted to kiss me and her tongue was that of a snake. she had a serpentery tongue. out of fear I withdrew my self. But that wasn't all o. she left the window and wanted to come inside my room. I quickly rushed out, held her head, and was praying warfare on her. she was just shouting and shouting..... Hm what can I say?. I thank God I hadn't done anything with her, and I also thank God for revealing to me who she truly was. #Myadvice. pls draw close to Gid, for life is more spiritual that what we see. if God opens ours eyes, we would see that some disappointments in our lives are actually a blessing and the grace of God in our lives. pls be spiritual and not religious. it's possible to abstain from anger, alcohol etc. is it really possible to abstain from sex, considering the current situation of our generation? even if it's possible the sweetness has made many decided not to stop the act.

I opened this thread to get the opinions of fellow christians who believe that man is primarily a spirit but lives in a body and has a soul. Now the questions are-
1. Did we exist in the spiritual world before coming into the physical or material world?.I was having a discussion with a neighbor who told me that man was created to exist in the spiritual before coming to live or start a new life.
2. what is the difference between the soul and spirit? are these two one? and how do they operate. who is the one that goes to the kingdom of God? spirit or soul?
3. define body, soul and spirit
4.who becomes born again at receiving Christ. soul, body or spirit?. and how
5.how can a man be born again. can a man be born again and not speak in tongues?

for the past few days, I have been having a problem whereby when ever I wake up I feel very heavy, tired and very weak. it's as if I had been working through out my sleeping period. could there be a problem spiritually because it started recently.
