Rooting opens a door of doing what i want,when i want and how i want the device to appear....not get stuck to the manufacturers designs and customization.

Idon't know people just have this wrong notion that anything used by Tecno must be crap , low range , even if they associated with the best in the world.

This gets me on a personal level, cos people have this kind of wrong stereotype about me too.

I personally love tecno phones....the first phone to feature helio x30 is not yet released.

Do you know why most flagships come with Qualcomms snapdragon?

Reason #1:

Other Chip-set manufacturers like MediaTek, Spreatrum and Broadcom. do not have the finesse in chip-sets to meet the experience of high-end customer.


Reason #2:

Its the phenomenon of sustainable competitive advantage. Big Brands don't want to work on Mediatek (which controls the market for most of Chinese originated smartphones,) because there are many vendors in Chinese ecosystem, who can quickly emulate the work of Big Brands on Mediatek.

Chinese vendors are experienced on Working on Mediatek Chip-sets, but are not experienced on Qualcomm chip-sets. So the capability of Chinese ecosystem is limited on Qualcomm. chip-sets., thus Work of Big Brands has lesser chances to be copied by Chinese vendors.


And as i said earlier...all this chips have strengths and flaws....but snapdragon have lesser flaws and perfom better in most aspects.

Mediatek chips are meant to power low to middle range phones and thats why this brand is so popular in africa where we prefer $150 phones rather than $700 phones....and i have used both snapdragon and mediatek and find mediatek lagging behind....but why do i still use it?
because thats what i can afford....and tecno is my favorite among this other chinese brands.

Sony Mobile has put out a new video showing how to unlock the bootloaders of qualifying Xperia devices.
The video goes over exactly how to use the resources set forth in Sony’s developer website to unlock the bootloader on approved devices. You can check if your device’s bootloader can be unlocked by checking the list on the site, or by using a special developer menu accessed with dialer code *#*#7378423#*#*.
If “Root Status” is missing or says no in that menu, than your device cannot have its bootloader unlocked. Otherwise, the video shows how to use ADB and Fastboot with a Sony-supplied bootloader unlock code.
The process has a good number of steps, but is actually fairly simple. Before you start, you’ll want to head to your phone’s “About Phone” menu and click on your Build Number a few times to unlock the Developer Settings menu, then go in there and make sure that OEM Unlock and USB Debugging are turned on.

From there, you can turn off your device for now. If you already have ADB and Fastboot installed on your system, you’re good to go, but if not, you can download them from Google’s developer website. Windows users will have to set up drivers during this step, while Linux and Mac users should be able to simply install the program.

To double check installation of ADB, type “adb devices” into your console of choice. To check for Fastboot installation, type in “fastboot devices”. If both of those commands parse, even if they’re blank, you’re good to go.
From there, go to Sony’s page, pick your device from the list, and register your email.
You’ll receive a link in your email that will bring you to instructions for your device, including how to put it in Fastboot mode, and a code. Once you have that code, connect your device to your computer, turn on Fastboot mode per the instructions on the page, and enter in the commands on the page. Once you’ve done all of that, your bootloader is officially unlocked, and you’re ready to flash custom recoveries and ROMs, at the expense of your warranty.

its really a good device.camera is sperb. display 264 ppi is low but with a super amoled it looks good. it can handle the games very well there is no lag. j7 prime is also a good but if you need a good camera and better display you should go with j7(2016).

Hello NL fam.. After enjoying a good 2 years using my Tecno R7 it finally packed up. .. So i have decided to move onto samsung, however most of those i looked up on Jumia and Konga which is within my budget(130k)does not meet up to what i'm looking for in a phone. in terms of battery(above 3000mAh, RAM(above 2gig), processor speed(above 1.5GHz), camera(13MP/8MP), et.al. I finally came across Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.. And i'd like to know if anyone has any good or bad personal experience using the phone. I want to be sure i'll be making a good decision buying the phone.. Thanks all..can't wait to read from you.

Remember Snapdragon 835 is also coming out this july or something and thats when we'll talk of helio x30....
But for now.......helio x25 and below should be the basis of this arguement.

Customizing with root and without root are two different things.
Root always has more priviledge in custimization than non root device and therefore it will depend wirh what you wanna customize.

If its just appearance,using launchers will work.

Its been a royal rumble fight between these two and the safest conclusion to make is that both are head to head .

First of all stop looking at your alexa rank as your measure of success...unless you rank 100k and below worldwide.

Instead focus on PA,DA,MozRank and Quality of backlinks pointing to your site.

I think the design is composed,clean and easily navigatable.

My problem is with the title and tagline....they are way way too long.

Why not use Makson Wakama as the blog title and Latest Digital Banking Innovation and FinTech News as the tagline?...or something even shorter!

The other problem is that your blog recognizes you as admin.....why not use your name in the author place that way visitors feel like the know who's talking to them.

Then your permalinks are teribble.....they look something like .com/?p=755
i would suggest using pretty permalinks with your article keywords....and at the end if your post i notice a link pasted to another blog's article.
You may want to scrap that link and use actual words linking to the article and not the link itself.

And lastly i can see your posts are too long which might get boring along the way.

i would suggest adding more pictures in long posts or using different colors in your h2's,h3's,h4's......
but overally the design looks cool on my phone without too much of distractions.

A Kenyan court on Monday jailed seven union officials for a month over a doctors strike that has crippled public hospitals for 10 weeks.

Judge Hellen Wasilwa at Kenya’s labour court had handed down suspended sentences to the officials a month ago after they ignored an earlier court order to end the strike.
Jailing them for contempt of court, the judge said they had provided no reason for the punishment to be deferred.

“The applicants have not demonstrated to court any new and compelling issue, or pointed out any mistake or error apparent on the record, or any sufficient cause that would warrant review of the court’s order,” Wasilwa said.

The seven officials were handcuffed and driven to jail past placard-waving supporters gathered outside the court.
The nationwide strike involving thousands of doctors and nurses began on December 5 and has left public hospitals closed and patients unable to get basic medical care.

Doctors have rejected a government offer of a 40 percent raise saying it falls short of promises made in a 2013 agreement. Staff shortages and a lack of equipment have also failed to be tackled.

Kenyan university lecturers have also been on strike since last month over pay.
The widespread, disruptive industrial action comes months before an August general election in which President Uhuru Kenyatta hopes to win a second term.
