you can use free hosting as a starter such as Byet host and later upgrade to paid hosts when the traffi increases such as hostgator averaging around $50 a year.

First of all,your articles are not well formated to interest the reader.
The design is not that good and not that bad either but you cabln find many top notch blogger templates online some for free some paid.

I don't think customer service niche is really that popular but if it's what you love nothing should stop you.

as for diversifying,i would say NO.
milti niche blogs don't do that well unless they are really really popular.

Using blogger is not bad....
I started my blog there but later moved to wordpress because i was not that confident messing with code to boost seo factors such as h1,h2,h3....meta tags.....keywords...etc...etc

Wordpress is very easy to use more than you might have imagined....the beauty of it is setting up things using plugins without touching code.

There also other platforms such as joomla,concrete5,drupal.....just to mention a few..

I would advice you to go with self hosted wordpress instead of blogger so that you can optimize for seo using plugins.

but if you know some coding,then staying with blogger is also good.

Once a newbie asked me;How do you drive traffic to your site apart from social media and organic search?

And i was like mmmhhh......i use quora.

The look on his face suggested that....i was either lying...or i had said something he had never ever heard of before.

I started blogging in 2014 and have had ups & downs not to mention picking up the wrong niches later to abandon them a year down the line....What a time wastage?

So i started a tech blog Smatt Geeks Media,which most of you have heard of since the U.K blog awards and the fruits of my labours are finally seeming to pay off.

Most people don't believe quora can drive alot og traffic to their sites when properly used.


My answers on the platform have hit over 70,000 views, and I’ve been featured three times in the Quora Daily Digest that goes out to up to 2,000,000 people.



I know....i know......You work tirelessly on your content – but no one reads it.

It’s like giving a presentation to an empty room. No matter how much insight you have to share, nobody’s there to even notice.

You feel certain that if you could only get some more traffic to your blog, the content love would flow.
But even when you promote the heck out of your latest post, the following week you have to start the process all over again.

It’s really exhausting.





How do I maximize traffic from Quora to my site?

In order to do that, here are some tips.


1 to your site from your profile:



From your profile on Quora, let people know about your website and provide a link to it. Add links to your social profiles too so that people can follow you, and then you can drive traffic in long term.

2.Include your domain in your answer bioss



You can have different brief bios next to your name when you answer questions on Quora. You can’t add a link, but you can mention your domain name. A proportion will be curious and take a look.

Note such traffic won’t show in your logs as coming from Quora, as people will be visiting directly.

3.Answer questions relevant to your site on a regular basis



The more questions you answer, obviously the more visible you will be on Quora, and the more traffic you can potentially attract. Also, you will begin to pick up ‘Most Viewed Writer’ accolades for different categories, which helps give visibility to your profile and helps your answers to rank higher and get more views.

4 back to your blog from answers:


Presumably, if you’re looking to attract traffic to your site, you already have a blog that you regularly publish to. Just as you link between different blog posts on your blog, you can link back to relevant content on your blog from the answers you provide.

5.Blog on Quora:



While most people think of Quora as a Q&A site, which predominantly it is, you can also blog on Quora, gaining thousands of additional views for your content from the Quora community.


Don’t let this replace your main blog. Instead, repurpose the content on your blog, republishing it on Quora and other top content platforms like Medium.


From this additional content on Quora, as well as links back to your blog include content upgrades to encourage readers to join your list. Once on your list, you will be able to drive repeat visits, not just one.

6.Provide value in your answers:



Most people seeking to drive traffic back to their site from Quora give the bare minimum answer, and sneak in a link. This isn’t very effective, as the answer will generally sink beneath fuller answers, won’t gain as much search visibility, and will attract fewer upvotes and followers.

The answer doesn’t have to be long, but should be sufficient to answer the question.

Add images where appropriate and where that provides further value in your answer. This will also help your answer rise above others.

7.Share your answers:



By sharing your answers through your social media channels, you will boost the number of views of your answers, which will help your answers rise to the top.
Plus, because who already follow you on social media, may be more willing to upvote you, follow you on Quora, and click-through to your site from your answers, all of which builds your overall traffic levels.

It all depends on your ability to work after you must have created the post if you can share and or bring good traffic to it then i guess you dont have a problem.

Got your message across in 537 words? Well done. Now, try to do it in less than 400.


Blogging Mistake #6: You don’t write in plain English

Jargon, gobbledygook, and bombast slow your readers down.
Jargon requires your readers to stop and think about the meaning of your words. Gobbledygook takes up their time without adding meaning.

When you don’t know who your audience is, your blog posts become generic. They end up speaking to no one and just taking up space.
Instead of addressing a crowd, write as if you’re having a conversation with your favorite reader. If you’re not sure who that is, make up an

Blogging Mistake #9: You edit your posts in less than five minutes

Are you a super-writer who writes almost impeccable posts in one go?
Most of us can’t even edit in one go. Consider at least four rounds of editing:
Review the flow of the post. Can you remove any paragraphs without impacting your story or argument? Does each paragraph naturally follow the paragraph before it?
Take out the funny asides that aren’t funny or aren’t relevant.
Polish each sentence. Cut overly long sentences in two; replace difficult words with simple ones; and enjoy the post.

My Tech blog Smatt Geeks Media is self hosted on Byet host the only thing i did was buy a domain name since i had tested the waters of blogosphere and decided to go professional.

They offer a subdomain too if you dont have one.

I would advice you to buy a domain name at Godaddy for only $0.99 and start creating some great articles for your readers.

The Developer Options menu in Android is a hidden menu with a variety of advanced options.

This options are intended for developers, but many of them will be interesting to geeks.


You’ll have to perform a secret handshake to enable the Developer Options menu in the Settings screen, as it’s hidden from Android users by default.

“USB debugging” sounds like an option only an Android developer would need, but it’s probably the most widely used hidden option in Android. USB debugging allows applications on your computer to interface with your Android phone over the USB connection.


This is required for a variety of advanced tricks, including rooting an Android phone, unlocking it, installing a custom ROM, or even
using a desktop program that captures screenshots of your Android device’s screen .

You can also use ADB commands to push and pull files between your device and your computer or create and restore complete local backups of your Android device without rooting.


USB debugging can be a security concern, as it gives computers you plug your device into access to your phone. You could plug your device into a malicious USB charging port , which would try to compromise you. That’s why Android forces you to agree to a prompt every time you plug your device into a new computer with USB debugging enabled.


1.SET A DESKTOP BACKUP PASSWORD


If you use the above ADB trick to create local backups of your Android device over USB, you can protect them with a password with the Set a desktop backup password option here. This password encrypts your backups to secure them, so you won’t be able to access them if you forget the password.


2.SPEED UP YOUR PHONE.


When you move between apps and screens in Android, you’re spending some of that time looking at animations and waiting for them to go away. You can disable these animations entirely by changing the Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale options here.

If you like animations but just wish they were faster, you can speed them up.
On a fast phone or tablet, this can make switching between apps nearly instant. If you thought your Android phone was speedy before, just try disabling animations and you’ll be surprised how much faster it can seem.

3.FORCE-ENABLE FXAA For OPEN-GL GAMES.



If you have a high-end phone or tablet with great graphics performance and you play 3D games on it, there’s a way to make those games look even better. Just go to the Developer Options screen and enable the Force 4x MSAA option.

This will force Android to use 4x multisample anti-aliasing in OpenGL ES 2.0 games and other apps. This requires more graphics power and will probably drain your battery a bit faster, but it will improve image quality in some games.

This is a bit like force-enabling antialiasing using the NVIDIA Control Panel on a Windows gaming PC.


4.IMPROVE 3D GRAPHICS.


If you use a task killer, you’re just slowing down your system by throwing out cached data and forcing Android to load apps from system storage whenever you open them again.

Don’t believe Me?

Enable them and Don’t keep activities option on the Developer options screen and Android will force-close every app you use as soon as you exit it. Enable this app and use your phone normally for a few minutes — you’ll see just how harmful throwing out all that cached data is and how much it will slow down your phone.


Don’t actually use this option unless you want to see how bad it is! It will make your phone perform much more slowly — there’s a reason Google has hidden these options away from average users who might accidentally change them.


5.FAKE YOUR GPS LOCATION


The Allow mock locations option allows you to set fake GPS locations, tricking Android into thinking you’re at a location where you actually aren’t.

Use this option along with an app like Fake GPS location and you can trick your Android device and the apps running on it into thinking you’re at locations where you actually aren’t.


How would this be useful? Well, you could fake a GPS check-in at a location without actually going there or confuse your friends in a location-tracking app by seemingly teleporting around the world.



6.STAY AWAKE WHILE CHARGING


You can use Android’s Daydream Mode to display certain apps while charging your device. If you want to force Android to display a standard Android app that hasn’t been designed for Daydream Mode, you can enable the Stay awake option here.

Android will keep your device’s screen on while charging and won’t turn it off.
It’s like Daydream Mode, but can support any app and allows users to interact with them.

A few months ago, Google made a big announcement in one of its Q&A. Andrey Lipattsev, from the search engine team, just revealed the three most important ranking factors in 2016.

Link, content and RankBrain are the factors on which you should focus all your efforts. Even if other factors still influence your SEO (there are more 200 ranking signals), here are the three most important ones.


Am going to explain those three different factors but the big news concerns the RankBrain algorithm as it has been confirmed as a factor.

1.LINKS



Links are still one of the most important ranking factors as they are seen as votes of confidence by Google. When someone links to your website, Google values it. Links were the first major “Off-The-Page” ranking factor used by search engines. But as you should know, some links are more valuable than others.

Link quality does matter. Links coming from authority websites will naturally have a stronger impact on your rankings. That’s why you should prefer having a few links from authorities rather than a bunch of medium or low-quality links.


“A link from any large, respectable site is going to be higher on the quality scale than a link you might get from commenting on a blog. In addition, links from those in your “neighborhood”, sites that are topically relevant to your site, may also count more.


Anchor texts are regarded by search engines as the way a website is describing another. Even if in most cases you can’t control the words used to describe your website, you can focus on opportunities to influence anchor text and optimize your SEO.

The number of links and their multiplicity can also influence your rankings as 1000 links from one site will have a lower impact compared to 1000 links from different websites. But don’t neglect quality. However, this metric is not as important as it used to be.


2.CONTENT


Content is also part of the major ranking factors and the Panda algorithm is still confirming that idea. Content as a way to improve your SEO needs to be relevant, informative, fresh and qualitative. It includes text, pictures and videos.

Google loves qualitative content as it provides users a great user experience. Great content also helps you drive traffic and improve conversions.


3.RANKBRAIN


RainBrain is a machine learning artificial intelligence system that provides betters understanding of search results.

The AI system is teaching itself how to interact with links and content and delivers a better understanding of how search engines are ranking pages. But RankBrain is just a piece within the overall ranking algorithm because Google still uses a program to return relevant results to user’s queries through billions of pages.


RankBrain will influence your rankings in the way that it interprets your content. So it is directly connected to the second ranking factor...

Samsung Electronics this week revealed plans to unveil its flagship Galaxy S8 mobile phone with a new digital assistant powered by AI.

The assistant will be based on technology gained with Samsung's recent acquisition of Viv Labs.
The plans call for Samsung to incorporate the AI into its family of electronics and appliances, ranging from mobile devices to wearable technology and home devices.


Rhee Injong, CTO of Samsung's mobile communications business, was one of several executives who briefed Reuters on the plans.
Samsung may delay the introduction of the new phone past the Mobile World Congress in February, pushing the launch to as late as April, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The company may add a button on the side of the S8 to launch the AI capabilities, similar to the buttons for launching Siri on Apple devices.
"Samsung is excited to begin integrating initial AI capabilities into its future products and we look forward to sharing further details at a later date," a spokesperson said in a statement provided to TechNewsWorld by company rep Ashley Wimberly.

Smart Enough?

In the aftermath of the Galaxy Note7 debacle, there is skepticism that Samsung's revelations concerning plans for a digital assistant amount to much more than face-saving hype.

"Personally, I'm a little wary about Samsung's ability to compete in this space," said Jitesh Ubrani, a senior research analyst at IDC.
"Without search and large amounts of user data, it will be quite difficult for Samsung to differentiate their AI from others," he told TechNewsWorld.

Amazon, Google, Microsoft and others have years of consumer data to build on artificial intelligence platforms that rely on learned user preferences to work in an optimal way, Ubrani noted.

Their existing AI technologies include Amazon's Alexa, Google's Assistant and Microsoft's Cortana.
The proof will be in the pudding as to whether Samsung truly can assemble a new AI digital assistant that can compete, said industry analyst Jeff Kagan.

"There are many different versions of AI," he told TechNewsWorld. "Some are really advanced and interesting and real. Others are just there to let a company use the term to gain media attention.
"The real question is which is Samsung's AI?" Kagan asked.

Although Viv Labs is a startup, it is not a babe in the woods when it comes to AI systems. Its founders are Siri developer Dag Kittlaus, Adam Cheyer and Chris Brigham.

The open AI technology they developed for Viv Labs is designed to allow third-party developers to integrate digital assistants using natural language into their apps.
Viv Labs will coordinate closely with Samsung but continue to operate essentially as an independent company.


Major Flameout
The plans come at a critical time for Samsung, which is working to extract itself from one of the biggest debacles in the history of mobile electronics.
The company had to recall millions of Samsung Galaxy Note7 smartphones due to safety issues. Many phones overheated and some caught fire in dozens of incidents around the world.
The devices were banned from commercial flights amid reports of some spontaneously catching fire on board aircraft.

Samsung last week announced that it had collected 85 percent of the recalled devices and said it would be issuing a software upgrade that would limit the power from the unreturned phones' batteries to 60 percent.
Working with the U.S. Product Safety Commission, Samsung launched a recall of the defective phones, found a different supplier of lithium-ion batteries, and offered replacements.

However, some of the replacement devices were vulnerable to the same type of random overheating that had occurred in the original phones. Samsung issued a recall of all Note7s, including the replacement phones, and warned its customers to stop using them immediately.

While the recall of Galaxy Note7 phones was ongoing, the company found it necessary to recall another product: top-loading Samsung washing machines sold between 2011 and 2016.


The CPSC last week ordered the recall of 34 different models of Samsung washers -- a total of 2.8 million machines -- warning that the top of the machines might unexpectedly detach from the chassis, posing a potential risk to users.

There have been 733 reported episodes of strong vibrations or detachment of the tops of the machines and nine reported injuries, including a broken jaw and an injured shoulder.

The recalls were particularly damaging to Samsung, which had enjoyed a reputation of making high-quality products and being responsive to customers.

Samsung's brand reputation has been hurt by the recalls, but consumers will regain trust in the company over the long term, suggested Tuong Nguyen, principal research analyst at
Gartner .
"I feel there is a little bit of weariness," he told TechNewsWorld, "but I think it's a short-term impact."
