Don't mind them jare, the last hope for the common man "NLC". If u like don't support them today, other decisions are coming that will need actions like this, then don't hope to see the NLC you didnt support.

You have money to buy fuel and data, and you forget the common man that doesn't have a voice, the less priviledge etc, those that can't come on nairaland to air their view, those not educated but understand hardship, those who survive on buying cup of garri daily( meanwhile a paint of garri is now 600naira). The begger on the street, how much more do they have to beg to feed themselves these hard times in the country, as a matter of fact the money they will get, won't be as much as it use to be, because everyone is managing and trying to adjust.Think of them. Why fight the masses when you can fight those ripping the nation through subsidy? The government can carry NLC to court, why not carry the so called cabals?why must the masses endure hardship, and make them hope it wil be better when it keeps getting worse?

Nasiruddeen:

Don't Let NLC /TUC Deceive You Again. It was 1st, January, 2012 when NLC /TUC sold our rights, sold our freedom, sold our emancipation and sold our efforts to liberate Nigeria. The former, Presidents of NLC /TUC deceived us and they failed in their responsibilities as leaders. Orman and Esele went to Aso Rock Villa to collect their shares of national cake and left Nigerians in total disappointment then. The issue of pump price increment would have been a thing of the past but NLC /TUC sold out.

The present NLC /TUC Presidents, Ayuba and Kangama are the faces of major Marketers in Nigeria that is why they are fighting their course using civil service platform. The so called marketers are the sponsors and financiers of these Unions when it comes to elect their leaders and they determine who to be what and what or who to be the President.

I am using this platform to appeal to Nigerians to ignore their call and not to follow them like fools because they will trade you with the Federal government when the time comes for negotiations. Therefore, be warned. These are questions I want to ask from NLC /TUC Presidents.

1. How the subsidy affect the lives of masses?
2. Who is collecting the subsidy?
3. How faithful are marketers to federal government?
4. For how long government will continue to pay subsidy?
5. Why don't you mobilize workers to protest against none payment of salary?
6. Why don't you lead a protest against Nigerian Senators /Reps to enact law for capital punishment against any corrupt politicians?
7. Why don't you lead a protest against Nigerian Senators and Reps to reduce their jumbo pay?

Nobody can deceive us again, nobody can fool us, nobody can mobilize us against the government of President Buhari and nobody can use us to make money from government because we have learned from previous scenario in 2012. We say 'No' to protest, No to political motivated protest and NO to fuel subsidy in Nigeria. Nigerians are wise nobody can fool us again.

God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Them they fool you they go. Keep decieving yourself. Why don't they do this or do that. Why can't you do it?

After all the why don't you are relaxed to add increased fuel prize to your list of suffering and smiling?

People blaming the wrong person...Buhari really aint the issue here, the oil marketers(the cabals) are the ones grinding Nigeria to a halt!

Then why can't buhari fight them? Why making the masses suffer for their sin?

The same marketers have been given the right to import fuel now, they will monopolize the market, and the prize of fuel won't come down, fight the cause before implementing strategies of hardship.

I have not bought fuel beyond 86.5 per litre although not without stress. And i only buy the quantity that will fill my tank and run my car. People are responsible for the scarcity. Fuel stations dispense from a single nozzle, over buying and black market. Most of the cab guys in Abuja now buy fuel and go and sell at between 250 and 300 per litre. Then they go back and queue for another round, making easy money without suffering. The Okada guys are also involved. Selling 10 litres from their bikes for 2800 to 3000 then go back to queue. Abuja fuel palaver is a different ball game. Just siddon and look.

Simple answer, if the fuel is readily available you won't have people doing the above, you won't have black market.

I buy fuel 200 from filling stations not black market, if fuel is available will it be sold for that amount?
Call a spade a spade, black market flourishes everywhere in the world when there is shortage of any commodity.

You talk of abuja? Maybe you need to pay a visit to lagos

semitunde:
Don't know why people like to create unnecessary panic.

I saw the queue while leaving home this morning. Had low fuel and was going to Agidingbi Ikeja. I was super sure that unless the two nnpc filling station along Oregun didn't open, they would have fuel with little or no queue.

I was right. No queue, not even jerrycan queue.

Bought at the normal N86/L and left in 5mins.

If I was really panicky, I'd have queued and sweated for hours to buy for probably N100.

Moral: look for filling stations in industrial areas, they usually have lesser queues and they are the true indicators of fuel scarcity ( or absence of).

The Op isnt lieing. Have been in search for fuel in lagos for 3 days now, all petrol stations with que, the whole isolo, ago, ikotun region long que everywhere, was i. Ikeja yesterday, from ikeja down to oshodi, que was seen though not very long, but must petrol stations didnt hav fuel.
Politics / Re: Nigerians: You Live In A Paradise And Dont Even Know It! by mikeuz(m): 10:32am On Jan 20, 2016
OP needs to understand the living condition in Nigeria, the low minimum wage, the stress, frustration in the country, the empty promises made;not fulfilled, the corruption, unaccountabilty, the undevelopment etc.
Op Nigerians pay tax, but to what end? The little we pay is it being utilize? Take a trip to Nigeria Op, and pay a visit to the tax revenue offices in Nigeria, average salary for revenue workers is 50k, but they live like they earn 800k, am talking from experience.
Nigerians have for long paid for services that was never rendered to them, these monies are meant to enrich some peoples pocket, the level of corruption and mismanagement in Nigeria is so deep that, the solution will be to tackle the latter first. Yes all hands must be on deck, and it doesn't have to start with taxing the masses, it has to start with cleaning the house first. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria, because we settle for less, we blame the problem on the leaders, when we ourselves are so corrupt with the wrong mindset. If everyone of us do the right thing to help our economy we won't have to resort to taxing an already wailing masses to generate fund.

Paying tax isn't our problem, paying for services isn't also, getting the value is what our problem is. Individual have drained Nigeria dry but innocent masses should suffer for it? Did u even see the supposed budget proposed?

Finally Op you are there comparing our economy with that of another nation, where you there when they struggle to make it work?where you there when honest men rose up to make it work? You went there when things start working and somehow you think you have a justification to compare Nigeria with other countries. You go soon tell us who you help just now.

This is a big lie, thats just a register mark, the photocell sensor sees to determine, if the tube is actually passing through the machine, and also where to cut the tube, and so on. Its not only in toothpaste but also in many other tube products, even in juice, so don't be decieved.

Nigerian men are not scared of rich girls, they are scared of girls richer than them.

Yes, nigerian men take ladies for granted if they initiate romantic gestures and stuff. Even if he wasn't into the girl prior to the girl asking him out, he'll force himself to tolerate her just to get whatever he can. Men will always be men, they can never turn a woman down.

I guess you can read what the guys are saying so you know you arewrong.

You need to meet responsible guys in your life to change this mindset. A guy that won't treat you well, won't, if you like ask him out or he ask you out, the same end result.

Crime / ROAD SAFETY CRIME, At Orhuwhorun Delta State by mikeuz(m): 1:24am On Sep 26, 2015
The federal road safety body at this said location orhuwhorun in delta state, with office at DSC, is known for making life miserable for road users, constant abuse of vehicle owners, extortion, charging exhurberant offence fees, and the most painful and annoying is assulting of individuals both male and female.

In this latest case a woman was held for an offence, the woman stopped over to give a young girl a lift, the young girl slid into the front passenger seat, and the woman zoomed while the passenger tries to fit in her seat belt, unfortunate for them the road safey marshals where just few meters in front of them, and they flaggd them over, while the young lady was trying to fit in the seat belt. The obvious offence was that the passenger wasn't using a selt belt. According the law,fee for the above offence, should be #2,000, but this road safety marshals where threatening to charge her #10,000, also threatened to lock her up, the lady pleaded with them, and while she was pleading, one of the marshals physically assulted her( an advance mature woman), while the other deflated her car tires. Out of anger the lady seized the road safety marshal, and immediately the other road safety marshals around took a picture of her seizing the marshal, and she was also accused of assulting a road safety marshal, and now she has to pay a sum of #22,000. Her tires were deflated, and her car towed into their office.

Lets assume the lady was guilty of assulting a marshal and seat belt offence, the suppose charge for this offence is #12,000, 10,000 and 2,000 respectivly.
Now who will pay for the assault on this poor woman? Does road safety have the right to deflate a moving and road worthy vehicle while the owner is there? Do they have the right to tow the vehicle while the owner is also there?

Please narialand help answer these questions and lets please help bring the attention of relevant authority to this menace done by the road safety marshals in orhuwhorun delta state. This is just 1 case of the many case faced by the road users each day. Below link is to a narration of other cases placed on the internet, about that same road safety office at orhuwhorun delta state.

Change has come lets join hands to bring this to check. Thanks

World people dont let the Op decieve u, lagos is a place for mad people, the sane become insane without knowing it, and they spend so much time in suffering and begin to think its a cool place just because the human body can adapt to the mad situations.most lagosian cant even cope with normal life outside lagos, and then they start complaining that the city is boring.

Yea, the guy should be a suspect, but that doesnt prove he did it, you can arrest him for questioning and have him released maximum of 24 hrs, if no evidence against. Afterall the call she got was from a woman, and anyone can be paid to pour acid on her.

Just thinking, what if the guy is innocent?, she will not only have broken is heart but also destroy his life because he doesnt have a stable job.........

What is the difference between 'complete changing' and flush?

Change the atf or leave it, your transmission has little life in it. Not sounding like a prophet of doom but, that box will quench soon.

But for just confirmation, drop a few drops of the atf on clean white tissue paper and see if there are particles. If there are, slippages will creep up soon.

Done that, No particle found, and found out sonething else when i checked just now, its not really black but dark brown. And also can i use a toyota T-iv fluid for my car or T-ws, its a rav4 06

Please i found out that my transmission fluid smells burnt and its black, i dont have any transmission issues with the car yet, the gear shifting is sharp and perfect, its a toyota rav4 06,

My mechanic suggests changing the fluid completely, but am skeptical, about that, dont want to change it and start having issues, do you think a FLUSH can be effective and wiser to do than a complete changing?
