Mr Aboki:

How old are you?!

My father bathed all 5 of us in the morning, everyday, from nursery school till we were old enough to bath ourselves..
#So whats your point?!

Took us to school every morning... Infact, it was once ina blue moon that my mum would drive us to school. Always my dad.

You are talking utter bullcrap.. Its obvious that you are not even old enough to be married.

The rules of marriage is not Master/Slave.. Its a pratnership with one party having just a 1% majority share (Veto power) to swing those decisions that end in a stalemate.

And I am a married man. Married to a HIGHLY successful lawyer with an annual gross income after taxes of 8 digits per annum.. She still cooks all my food (despite us working almost equal hours), picks out my clothes, takes care of our homes and fulfills her duties to me as a wife.

The bad ones are not the ones we are talking about here.. But if you expect a woman who has worked and toiled hard all of her life to attain great heights to throw it all away and reduce herself to fit into your life and massage your ego, then you are a joker. Real men would rather hussle to be bigger than their wives, rather than cut her down.

#No be quarrel o!! I'm just saying the ugly truth that we men shy away from.

True talk. Also because men Would not Want to bring their women down is another reason why they don't go for them. They leave them for men that are already more successful than these women.the field is large enough. Enjoy your marriage

kulyie: 1.Ego will never let me
2.i cannot stand any man telling me what to do,where to go,what to wear, when not to go out, when not to party, who to talk to,who not to talk to,infact,i cant take it.
3.two egoistic people cannot live under the same roof.
4. i cannot give up my independence for nada
5. After studying the regemented lifestyle of many african married women,e.g wake up as early as 4am,tidy the house, cook for mr husband, get the kids ready for school, prepare for work, come back home, take the kids back from school, prepare supper for mr husband, wash etc,i cannot live such a life.i refuse to let circumstances dictate the kind of life i live especially when such sacrificial life might be appreciated or might not even be appreciated
6.mrs wife always comes last in the list of priority in many marriages
7.i dont have to be distracted by any man did this and that nonsense, inlaw craps etc
8.no need hoping, wishing or praying no one cheats etc
9.share my salary with nobody except the people i choose to
10. Live my life for nobody since no one is looking up to me or waiting for me to do this and that for him.

U can decieve everybody but u can't decieve me. Everybody at one point or another needs somehow to call his or her oWn. Even if u adopt or plant children inside u,they will stil grow and leave you. Boredom and loneliness go kill u. Insemination requires a man's sperm that same man you don't want to tell you what to do. To bring up a child requires the love and authority of a man. Just wait when your child gets older he or she will begin to ask you question. Fathers meeting in school or church, family picnics, they will see others with their fathers, and will question you, be prepared to tell them your ego is to blame. Infact I don't think you have ego,I rather think you are just foolish. You are a woman accept it. You can't run away from it. Even if you are a lesbian, you are still a woman, and being a woman comes with certain responsibilities as being a man also comes with its own. Be responsible yound lady. Search for that man that wil understand and be ready to sacrifice for you,you too should be ready to make sacrifices too. I really wished you made life but u didn't so don't be lazy,Deal with life.

1. they are not confident, they are arrogant, I may have to say this. there was a time my pops went broke and mom was d 1 feeding d family, she maintained the fact that she was in control and till date she cares to tell whoever is ready to listen (She's a good person but She's still a woman)
there are several other situations I've personally witnessed.
2. No one restricts a lady from buying things for herself, the only problem is when she starts buying for the. man, when she starts feeding the home, I tell u, any man in such a situation will turn houseboy unless he knows how to play his card with women. a man may feed. his wife. for. 10 years without having to mention it to a third party, but if. a woman does Same for a day, all her friends would know!!!
3. it's a general thing for women to Look down on people below. them in social status, the beautiful ones Look down on the less beautiful, the wealthy ones Look down on the average ones, the intelligent ones look down on the less intelligent! y do u think most women want to appear flashy? it's not necessarily to attract men, in most cases they do so to diss their fellow women....
as a man... I know my Bleep.ing onions, once beaten, shy till eternity!!!
if u c a humble woman praise her parents...

African mean ar wired to b the giver and provider and african women are Wired to be the reciever. Wen d receiver becomes the giver,d giver should be ready to be the receiver. Successful women tend to think they are the mEn.
And y am I even saying africa, infact women in general.

D more inteligent, smart and successful a woman becomes, the more difficult it is for her to keep her Man.
The ego of a man is bolstered when he knows he is in charge, and when a woman is in charge her Ego also grows, but because of the nature of women, they develop attitude alongside without knowing and there can't be two captain in a ship.

Still searching for that humble woman.

When a man desires an independent woman he doesn't desire a woman with attitude. He only wants a woman that can be supportive and a woman he wil support,a woman that can be
independent and submissive not just because of his Ego but because that's the only way a relationship can work. Evry Man wants a WOman not a MANwo

Love is pain and joy. D pain may be much but believe me the joy is always worth it.if you haven't felt love then you've nt lived. You may shy away from it you may run away from it but it still remains. It has hurt you,I know,it hurt you because u actually loved. Its a state of temporary insanity its a state of temporary bliss that keeps rotating. Reminding you that life is up and down. Its is an uncontrollable feeling. Indeed its is the greatest cosmic energy. It makes man and even God do unimaginable things. It may seem bad and hurtful but it is still one thing in life that doesn't completely ends in vanity. It gives you something to live for,and it gives life a meaning don't deceive yourself, don't run from it,stay young keep your life in motion, embrace it. Live to love and love to live.

All yur brain could think of is divorce abi?instead of you to think of how to tackle the root causes of these dispicable behaviour of some men. We all must say No to such attitude, make the aWareness far wide until every man in Nigeria know its a crime and wrong. Many women don't even know their rights. U are a woman, enlighten them rather than thinking of divorce, what will divorce stop? You will only see yourself jumping from one marriage to another all in the name of divorce just because you think you know what to do,creating single parents everywhere. this is african not the western world and marriage is a sacred union to us. The rate of ignorance peddled on this forum is alarming!!

Gone were the days when posters outwit each other with facts and not hearsay, make-belief etc

Do you have access to the employment contract of an academic staff?

Have you seen or read through the 2009 agreement?

You have to get all the angles to make informed contributions and not rants laden with youthful exuberance and indolence!!

Even if they don't teach for ten years, the government will have to pay them!!
The employment contract entails them to do research and academics and they are on academic strike or have you seen any university under locks and keys!

Yes, the industrial action is affecting the students and not good for all concerned but the fault lies with the government and not ASUU!

And if you think otherwise, let's discuss facts .

We know say you know facts. Keep your facts in your pocket all the students wants to know is that ASUU call OFF THE STRIKE

engrfcuksmtin: Am suprised @ the opinion of some posters in this thread on the no work no pay issue. Majority of us disagree with the policy of FG for withdrawing relief from from Biafara during the war? The policy is as good as good as the biafara/fg issue. Why should the govt go into an agreement that they view as not feasible? The argument that it was made by the previous administration does not hold water because if the present government can inherit foreign reserves from previous administration they shiuld be able to implement agreement reached by the the previous admistration. Looking at the agreement only 21% is for allowances which will be enjoyed by both. academic and non academic staff (most universities has paid non academic staff their share of the 30billion sent to them but rejected theirs on moral grounds). The argument of moral decadence among lecturers is not far from the truth (a common phenomenon in every sector of our dear country) but the fact remains that Universities in Nigeria are poorly funded and there is need for rescue. If ASUU considers the student that are at home currently how about the future students? What will they meet? Considering what is on ground presently......God save Nigeria

Taaaaaah. God purnish those lecturers. Throughout when I was in school there was no year ASUU didn't go on strike. It has now become a norm for them. Hiding under the disguise that they are fighting for the students. Which students are they fighting for? bunch of idiots. The little money FG gave them from their previous strikes how did the students benefit from it?those money ended in their pockets and FG still pay them for sitting at home,Who pays the student for sitting at home?students that paid school fees and house rents. Every act of long duration srikes destroys the students and the future so tell me which future students they are fighting for?abi the present crop of student don't deserve a bright future? they can't even teach properly,SORTING is the order of the day in our university,is the FG the cause of that too. They make it look like the federal government is the sole cause of our decay in the educational sector. What effort have they made on their part?when you listen to their address they sing bunch of lies looking for sympathy from the masses. No Work No Pay is the best thing, Maybe if some of them can't fend for their family and pay their childrens school fees abroad for a month they will no how to shorten strikes. Rubbish. The most painful thing is that when they decide to end the strike, they will also decide to increase school fees.

Am experiencing something similar, infact i teach maths, computer, physics, and english, and the school didnt even give ♍ƺ accomodation, not to talk of bed,i spend #300 for transportation to school everyday, and nobody cares to know how i fare, all they want is that you must be in school everyday or else you wont be given your clearance.
Bt what can you do?reporting to the LI wont make much difference, not because the LI is corrupt bt because there is little the LI can do. The system is wrong, dont be surprise that the ZI wont be able to do anything, because trying τ̲̅ȍ start a change of ppa can affect your monthly allowances and before you the change, your Employer must reject you and state the reason why, if he gives a bad reason against you,it can go a long way in making you have an extention. Thatz NYSC for you so you should undastand why your LI gave you that kind of response, its for your own good on the long run.
