For self service what is the deadline for upload of documents. My time is tomorrow and am currently having challenges uploading to the portal.

If you get there probably 6:30am or 7am you will get a place to back but is it's close to 9am I doubt you will get a place.

I'm asking this question on behalf of a friend. Can a passport that will expire in less than 6 month be use to apply for visa? His passport will expire April 2020 and he is going for February admission intake.

Yes they do but sometimes they ignore tier 4 walk in, they allow people for walk in yesterday

At around past 11am at the VI center I tried amending my appointment and I got September 1st and at around past 2pm I tried amending again then I got 26th of August (today),the interview went well and this are all the questions:

Go to your application, click on "provide biometric and documents". You will be directed to TLS site. Click on the amend icon.
The TLS services will open then click on "book an appointment". Then click on amend my appointment.

It will own up the appointment booking page. If you don't see a date you like, just close the tab.

Please can you telle the procedure to get an earlier date,I will appreciate that. Thanks and God bless you

You won't pay again unless the new date is under assisted service. You won't receive a refund for the assisted service you had initially paid for.

For Ikeja TLS, there are dates for 28th August for those who want to amend.

For V.I, I learnt there is 28th August too.

I was also there today,got there 5:45am and left when they closed. Yes the woman said this but that wasn't the entire gist because they later attended to people for Walk in as long as your course start date fall within 1st of September to 7th of September,I couldn't do walk in today because my course start date is 21th of September.

Walk-in Tier 4 is not available at TLS V.I till further notice I guess cos I was there since Wednesday and today Thursday....they only allow walk-in for Tier 2 and visiting. The lady said students should come on their appointments date

You really have nothing to worry about , as long as you declare it during your visa application and have all your documents intact.

I know the UKVI interview is compulsory,I just wasn't expecting an interview with the school after submitting my CAS draft. The school rep check my application and said everything is perfect including my bank statement,I think the school interview was as a result of my previous UK visiting visa refusal,I got to know this because a lady was also interviewed by the school who also has US visa refusal in the past. The school rep said the interview was as a result of past visa refusal which I stated at the beginning of applying for admission in the school.
To my surprise I wasn't asked about my past visa refusal while in the video interview with the school,it was just similar to the usual UKVI interview. This got me thinking a little.

Not all unis require an interview before issuing CAS but you definitely will NOT escape the credibility interview with UKVI.

So you might want to start preparing for that.

This is simply because when a particular uni has high refusals, UKVI may be tempted to suspend the school’s license, this is also why many unis now require the full 28 days banK statement in addition to the interview before issuing CAS.

I would like to ask why some schools are conducting interview for some of their prospective international students before issuing cas while same school will also not interview some other international before issuing cas?

Yes,it's 50% to get CAS and the balance can be paid in 3 or 7 installment. You can buzz me if you have more enquiry

For the counting of 28days bank statement, i know weekends are inclusive but what about public holidays?

The govt declared Thursday and Friday as public holiday, initially my 28day was suppose to mature on Friday

Realistically,is it possible to secure an apartment with the Landlord or agent while you are still in Nigeria without making any payment nor signing any contract?

Is it possible for the Landlord or agent to keep the apartment available for you till you arrive in the UK without you making payment nor signing contract ahead?

Not all lease have breakout clause.... some do , soyou can move earlier with notice but its IMPORTANT to know not all do

New students it's also important to know fully what you are agreeing it . Best not pay or sign a contract before you see with your eyes

Rent an apartment online. I received over 4 calls from property agents today. It's as simple as ABC. See a property. Do a video inspection, read the tenancy agreement and you like it then make payment. Them no fit scam you for UK with a UK bank account. Thanks
