Ayoolla: why would you want a V6 option when this promises better fuel economy.The only reason you might neeed a V6 is if you have a large family or you travel a lot. bro you think its everyone that is after fuel economy to the detriment of a sharp and responsive car? forget what local mechanics tell you about V6 cars...I own an I4 Accord and i tell you, its slow from rest and not very responsive unlike its 3.0L V6 elder brother. Only real car enthusiast will appreciate this, and not those running around trying to drive for 1 week with 500naira pertrol.

Why do you lot think the revenue loss will be significant to the extent that Airtel will close shop? You guys should get real! Why are you guys complaining because a company has decided to plug a hole in its network that has been causing a revenue leak?

Why on earth will I pay 1.500 for 2 gig when other networks gives me more than 2gig for 1k on BB. Secondly, why in my sane mind would I subscribe to a network that flunctuates and not reliable when compared to the others? Your bogus survey just doesn't add up! The only reason people managed your line was because of this 2gig offer on non bb devices. ANY SANE HUMAN BIENG WOULD GO FOR OTHER NEtWORKs wHEN USING A BB, PERIOD.

Bro read well. @OP only claimed there are more BB users on Airtel BB plans compared to Non BB users on the same plan.

I can understand why people are aggrieved, but it was a long standing revenue leak identified by Airtel Fraud/RA dept a while back. All other networks have specific plans for BB which is separate from normal data plans. Etisalat blocked theirs i think in september without even giving any heads-up because they knew it was a network vulnerability.

you guys should not be angry @OP(except for his seeming patronizing tone) because he doesnt personalize "AIRTEL", direct your grievances @ the Operator themselves. I dont personally think in terms of tarrif, any Operator is Better @ d moment!

i found out a solution to DP change issues:

i did an update on my S3 and i updated/downloaded google photos. since then, when i want to change dp, it asks whether to use "Gallery"(native android photo app) or "google photos".

each time i use google photos, my dp changes seamlessly!

why are you wasting your time with these guys? Do they think 5years + a B.Eng degree is child's play? If the explanation I as well as you have given isn't enough to provide insight, then it leave much to be desired.

SummerT: Stop fooling yourself! Who says cement is good on roads? It can never be compared to asphalt? Are the developed nations using it? Why can't we go for something that will last and can withstand the test of time. Its better to take the pain now to make standard and durable materials rather than plastering year after year.

You should be mindful of your assertions, because pure Asphalt concrete isn't ideal for all road conditions. There's sth known as:
Hard Pavement - interlocking tiles, cement concrete fall into this category
Soft Pavement - Asphalt

Typical examples are road junctions; because cars usually slow down at that portion, the total equivalent load is usually higher around those areas. Hence, asphalt failures are very common. The standard practice is to use concrete in those portions and cover them up with a thin asphalt layer.
Same goes for airport runways: Aeroplanes are heavy, hence they use concrete and cover the surface with another thick layer of asphalt.
Have you noticed interlocking tiles being used in Lagos roads these days? how often do you see potholes in such roads except the poorly constructed ones? The key is the concrete used for the tiles.

You may not notice that concrete is used most of the time, because they coat the surface with light asphalt to improve tyre grip.

@OP,
look for someone that uses LAUNCH x431-IV scanner, If generic scanners are not getting power from the OBD port. That device has alternative power sources like cigarette lighter, or even direct clips to your battery.

If your problem isn't power related, then as @nisspart said, u may have an ECM problem on your hands
