hOW DOES THIS AFFECT THE PRICE OF GARRI IN THE MARKET? ![]() |
@oyibomoses why should you just assume that it is the plug that is the issue? are u a magician? Oga OP, do a scan on your car only then can u be sure.My take on this is that it could be a cylinder misfire or random multiple cylinder misfire which could be a symptom of faulty spark plugs or the Coil. my 2cents |
Fantastic decision @easterbabe. don't mind all this Tokumboh Honda/toyota apologists that have made 1999 camry still cost as much as 900k! ![]() |
post the pictures |
@babyface No need to fear. just be confident. If you pass, you'll surely be shortlisted for interview stage! good luck. |
U've got mail |
I am in need of a Fairly used Nissan keyfob. I intend using it as my spare keyfob. Anyone in the house who can assist @ an affordable rate? i can reprogram it to work with my car. |
hi @dreamxl, I'm preparing for CCIE written, how can you help? |
no tuning shops in naija. i want a new front grill and rear wings for my Nissan Altima 2005! |
@Sienna Wow! All these? I see those 2 Australian guys do it on mightycarmods on youtube and it seems so easy! wow i better have a rethink and just settle with my naturally aspirated vehicle |
ok fine, we've heard all the Hoo-haas...Can we just cut the OP some slack? Please!!! A great thread for enthusiasts is gradually being ruined! I gladly appreciate the safety minded people n all, but these guys seem to know what they are doing - they say they race in controlled environments. @OP, do you guys do aftermarket vehicle tuning - like fitting a turbo/super charger, mod-exhaust, rear wing fitting, lowering suspensions, fitting a front splitter or rear diffuser n all? would be interested in car mods that enhance vehicle performace from the base model. |
Many of you guys are just "Kill-joys". lol @ the 400mph chick. - she said it more than twice Sienna...i was beginning to wonder if the c63 AMG had a Global express bombardier engine fitted.. we dont have speed limits on our roads, so its understandable that when there is no law, there is no offence. but these guys should be more careful. |
Siena: Your friend's method of checking fuel consumption is seriously flawed. You can't work out consumption data by saying a 100-litre tank runs dry in a week, driving from Ketu to Marina daily. That means nothing. I don't know what the route is like - distance, average speeds reached on these trips, coolant temperature (does the engine ever get up to full operating temp?) Short trips are heavier on fuel than long ones.@Sienna, even your explanation aside, my 3.5L V6 2005 Altima uses about 4.6L of petrol from iyana ipaja area to v/i (1 direction) which is in the range of 35km, by far farther than magodo to v/i which is a str8 line. So there's definitely a problem with that 2003, 2.5L Altima engine. |
This is the mail i got from aptech: For the first time in nigeria, now you can train on globally acclaimed Red Hat Certified Engineer- RHCE Courses and take your certifications here in nigeria. |
@pufectskin, you just read everything upside down. That clearly isn't what the poster meant! The cruxx of the story isnt the gift, it's the fact that she chose to be happy and stop nagging @ her husband and givin herself stress...The guy turned a new leaf! and not the other way around. I sense some cynicism and sarcasm in your post. pufectskin: Wow! So let me get this: |
@OP for the record, there's nothing like V4, it is I4 - Inline 4 cylinders. Meaning the cylinders are arranged in a straight line, while for v6, you have 3 cylinders on each side of the engine arranged in a V-shape to each other. This shape provides higher engine displacement, hence more power. I do agree with your views on the V6 engine as i have one as well, though a Nissan, the problem is many roadside mechanics dont have sufficient skill set on V6 engines, hence they discourage people. Another thing is fuel consumption(which isnt significally higer) and the Naija crowd mentality. Thats why everybody is buying 99 camry in 2012.lol |
chai, this is so 12years ago for me. kai i don old o! |
@kingwax ...Ol boy u dey vex o! ![]() |
@bolof2000, i guess a suitable name for this thread should be UNIX Professionals as it's all encompassing and the father of all. then you can get guys from telecoms, service provider environments as well as enterprise contributing. It's cool. Unix is lovely,i work with Oracle Solaris 10, a little with red-hat back in my enterprise days. I like your advice to Ganddy that he shouldn't focus on the exam, instead instead he should focus on knowledge. It's sad that a lot of people resort to certificate collection these days and not knowledge. Unix isnt for the faint hearted, you need to be willing to go all the way, and it certainly pays off in the end. |
@Lamba Lamb good to know about your first class degree. If you are sound in Information Technology, with a bias for programming, scripting,CLI etc, i'd advice you learn UNIX. This is a valuable skill in the telecoms industry. It will be easier for them to take you in as an entry level practitioner( who can be trained to do other related things/tasks), because most Telecoms infrastructure are running some base UNIX code. NOTE: ask yourself where your career passion truly lies. Like for me, I'm doing sth totally different from what i studied in Uni. just my 2cents |

My 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5L V6 does an average of 16Mpg i.e 6.8Km/L for city driving - Iyana ipaja to V/I. I guess that's good right? |
