None of the words I used in my earlier comment is derogatory. If calling you naive is what you're referring to, it's not derogatory in the context of usage. But if you feel offended by it, accept my apologies

That said. You tend to have forgotten something about how APC came to be. It's an amalgamation of more than 5 parties with three prominent - ACN, CPC, ANPP - and a splinter from PDP (nPDP) and APGA. CPC produced Buhari (as the leader of that bloc) and there was an agreement before Buhari was given that ticket, you and I were not privy to it The ACN bloc was led by Tinubu who had to annoint Osinbajo to avoid a Muslim/Muslim ticket; if not that, Tinubu would have naturally been taken as Buhari's running mate.

Buhari is well aware of Tinubu's influence and except Tinubu willfully drops that ticket for Osinbajo (after all, they are from the same bloc), APC would inadvertently hand Atiku/Tambuwal the presidency on a platter. Why? APC would be hugely divided and I can bet it, Tinubu's foot soldiers would not work for Osinbajo which may make it very difficult to even deliver South West for APC. Osinbajo does not have a political structure. He could not even win his polling booth in all elections held so far in his ward!

Take note of one thing, the north can do anything for power, including voting for another northerner come 2023, irrespective of political party. The ambitious governors in APC like El-Rufai understand this and they know the only way to have a good shot at presidency themselves is by putting a things right from the beginning.

My brother, political horse-trading and manauvering no be joke.

It goes deeper than you think.

Ire o
It's good we can talk maturely now, thanks so much, let's go back to the topic, I laugh anytime I see the line that osinbajo has not structure or he lost his polling booth at ikoyi lekki axis, so why is the opposition panicking since he declared? My brother, osinbajo has moved his constituency to his home state, let see if he will loose there, moreover is so funny when people assume a VP of 7 seven years has no structure, its only people that have little knowledge in politics will say that, I have said it several times here, the defination of political structure, so I will write it once again, A STRUCTURE IS A POLITICAL MACHINERY CONTROL BY THE GOVERNORS FOR THE MAIN PURPOSE OF PARTY ELECTIONS THROUGH DELEGATES OR ANY OTHER MEANS. Having said that, I am confirming to you today that osinbajo has 10 decided governors and 5 swings governors on HIS side , I will release the states for osinbajo as time goes on, if you are in doubt, just check out my previous posts, thank you.

You're so naive.

Everybody will just follow president's direction. Really? Osinbajo will not even carry 2nd. You think it's by wishful thinking?
Firstly, you have to be be civil when quoting me, let me lecture you, do you know, there will be delegate election before you can qualify to be a delegate except the statutory delegates? That means the person with the state machinery will influence the delegates from his state, no one can beat a governor with the machinery in his state, likewise no one can beat buhari with national machinery because he has the party machinery, I am so sure there will be cry after the delegates election, mark this post, next time when you quote me try not to use awkward language. Thanks

The deal has been sealed for osinbajo, when the time comes I will write the states for osinbajo, tinubu and Amaechi, but for now I can only tell you osinbajo has 10 decided governors and 5 swings governors, meanwhile asiwaju has 3 decided govs and three swings, why Amaechi has 1 swing governor, if anyone doubt me, just go back to my previous posts to check if they have not come to pass already.

Some people call me 30k urchin, some call me different names, I don't really care because if some of you meet me physically, you will not be able to say all those words, having said that, some who wonder what do I want? What I want is good governance in nigeria, I want a nigeria I can come home with my children and be secured, I want a nigeria that would be respected all over the world whenever they see your green passport, Rome was not built in a day, I know we will get there someday, buhari has done his best,I know some will agree why some will disagree, this is democracy you are free to choose whatever is your believe. I am supporting osinbajo today even with my money and time, because I am convinced, he will perform, you can say how am I sure of this! Because human beings tend to change and dissapoint, but let me guarantee you, I will be the first person to call him out if he eventually wins and dissapoint, I am a member of LREM party here in france, and this happen to be macrons' party, I know how politics is played out, white people don't joke with the promises and manifestos you presented when seeking for power, but once you can fulfill your promises, you are good to go for another term, that is the priveledge macron is enjoying now, why did I mention macron in the nigeria forum, I did that purposely because I can see some attributes that macron possesses in osinbajo, dont get me wrong I am not saying macron or the white people are superior to us, but what I am trying to lay emphasy on is good governance and because I had the opportunity to work closely with the political system here in france, hence my assumption. Thank you

What surprise can Obaseki bring to the table? Even if he joins APC today, he can’t do anything. All the delegates have been selected already so what impact will he have on the primary election? He either bows to Oshiomhole’s leadership or be thrown out again.
A state governor has so much influence in nigeria political space, he has the financial war chest and obviously he will be able to influence many delegates from edo, moreover don't forget he was in apc before, so he knows how to go about it. Nevertheless I am not sure he will decamp to apc but he has been working for the VP under ground for a long time.

Wazobia2216:
Which kind small pikin question be thishuh
You are too young to comprehend? What the question meant was that, there was a conspiracy against oshiomole and tinubu in the last edo election by apc, that was why apc did not do the final campaign, that suppose to have the president, VP and governors present.
PoliticsRe: . by MikoB: 11:08am On Apr 20, 2022
Wazobia2216:
Its imminent

Forget all the gragra him follow Wike dey do!

He only used PDP with the combined effort from the federal government to whittle the Edo from the grasp of Tinubu

To proof to Tinubu that the party and not Tinubu is in control!

This might be their agreement hence no much power tussle from the FG during the time of election!
Did you see apc representatives at the apc final campaign in edo during the election?

Ure a Political neonate..

I believe people like u would have doubted BAT wen he brought the idea of ousting a sitting President.. BAT is a joke to you bah huh

Or u think this is the days of Only PDP era as national party where the President can do and undo.

See nobody respect outgoing president/Governor, not even wen he is not that loved..

Even his close pals @ Rufai was against PMB in the chairmanship race not until PMB begged all of them, even if they did not allow, it's a position for CPC faction and that's the only eye of PMB wen he leaves office..

We are talking Presidency here where multiethnic, heavy weight Politician are very interested in, not even wen it is unconstitutional.. Does BAT be like someone they can beg to shread his award for a consensus candidate? For Amaechi or for Osinbanjo whom he reffered to as not yet grown enough to declare?

Abeg rest.. let's be realistic and stop reasoning like Princeof-lagos , frigga and co who type anything against BAT just to massage their teary eyes..
Go and check my previous posts and predictions! I am telling you with authority that asiwaju will not have it in apc, take it to bank and cash it.

That’s the new constitution; accept the reality of a primary election and stop deceiving yourself that one person will be imposed as a consensus candidate.

Btw, are you not the one arguing on another thread yesterday that Osinbajo has all the delegates from Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, Kano, Bornu and all none APC states. So, why are you now scared of primary election?
I am not against any primary, i even opened a thread on this, I know there will be a primary most likely indirect primary. Attention! I never mentioned all the names of the states osinbajo will win,I only argued ogun and oyo, others will be surprise I will not mention now for a reason , but I can assure you, he has 10 decided govs and 5 swing govs on his side.

You knowledge of law is shallow. When it comes to party nomination, the party constitution takes precedence in as much as it is not inconsistent with the electoral act and 1999 constitution.

The electoral act provides for three option for primary. APC through its constitution has adopted two of the three options for presidential nomination. The party’s constitution is consistent with the electoral act so there is no problem at all here.
It's you that is wrong but obviously you will never agree nigeria way! Apc adopted the three options last convention, this is the reason why the chairman adamu, the APC governors' forum chairman bagudu, confirmed they could adopt any of the three when questioned by journalist about the presidential primary. Moreover, if you say the party constitution is consistent with the electoral law, its normal for them to have the three options, most of you guys don't take time to read and learn.

Amaechi is backed by Buhari and osibanjo is using vp leverage, tinubu is using his acn regional party leverage.
Another reliable presidency source however told this paper that the president seems inclined to the aspiration of his deputy, Osinbajo, who appears to be the popular choice, noting that this explains why the vice president was bold a enough to openly declare his interest in the presidential race.

Let us have a robust debate on all candidate in as much as we ALL REFRAIN FROM PERSONAL ABUSE.
