In my opinion, Osibanjo will be a hard sell to APC and Nigerians in general. Unless Buhari uses Gestapo style rigging, it will be impossible to get Osibanjo elected as president. He just does not have the political capital. Osibanjo has zero political structure to win any election, even local government chairmanship election.

The South South and South East will not accept another Yoruba president at this time. If Buhari imposes Osibanjo as APC's presidential candidate, Tinubu and his formidable political machinery would frustrate him and APC at the general elections. I don't even see the middle belt supporting Osibanjo.

To me Buhari's best bet is Amaechi. It's still difficult, but I am sure Tinubu would rather support Amaechi than Osibanjo. Amaechi had built a political bridge with the north in his years as governor and as transport minister.

He is the most sellable aspirant in apc

Point of correction, I'm talking from the position of facts, oyo state is for osinbajo, he planted the chairman and teslim folarin there against adedibu penkelemes of asiwaju's faction, sure no one will have 100% vote in any state, but I can bet you, oyo and ogun are in the bags for PYO, while ondo and ekiti are the swings States, but most likely ekiti wil be in the bag soon for PYO why osun and lagos are for asiwaju.
