To start, take a look at the agricultural policy of these countries and compare to ours and you would realise quickly why we cant have a viable agricultural sector. I am not sure if these policies are there by intent or the policy makers are ignorant of what the challenges are.
God save this country!!! God will not do anythin He has done 99% The remaining 1% is up to us Mention 3 bottlenecks You're waiting for policy ba You think Agric is by conference You better enter farm |

The Uk is a federation, so Also is India. You cant rule out conflict in any human society, even in its smallest unit the family.
Have said it before development starts from bottom up not top bottom, if we develop our community and compete among each other, LGAs will develop, states will develop and the country at large will develop at its own pace, these idea of a states in the North to catch up with the south, if we continue this way till thy kingdom come, they wont catch up #facts. We nigerians are complaining about the present system because the states have limited access to the control of the natural resources within them,
Does the state have limited access to farmland Do the states have limited access to Abuja (min of mines and steel, there's one in every state o) Do the states not know where to apply for refinery licence or not. Do they know where to apply for oil bloc or not. There is no restricted access. There is controlled access. Who is in control if not the politicians
and they are clamouring for fedralism so as to gain adequate control of the resources
Dangote is not a state yet he is controlling limestone he PAID for. PAID NOT DEMANDED OR WISHED OR DREAMT, PAID. what are the states doing with their money. Going to Dubai and building billion naira mansions in Abuja and lekki
. But since you said that the "system" is not the problem, what then is the problem? I'm going into politics to change it from the top While those not interested in politics should go into capitalism to change it from the ground up. (last last they still have to go into the politics hence my choosing that path from the get go. Political route Participate Win election or support Winne and be appointed Loot (the only way they'll let you in, don't deceive yourself) Invest loot in farms and factories (jobs for my constituents) Implement all contracts with proceeds from loot (sustainable looting) while others are buying private jet. I'm buy-in votes. Win higher office Loot more Invest more Complete more contracts Rinse repeat till you get as high as you're destined This will force other contestants to do same Cos if we could steal 1 billion and come election I have 10 billion while you are trying to manage 100 million. Cos you bought liabilities next person wgjjtad forced to invest in farms and factories. Economic route Gada 1 million ppl Collect 1,1 naira or 1,1 thousand Doesn't matter Just start something Plant Palm oyel, plant maize, plant rice, wheat sugar Start fish pond goat pond grass cutter anythin Just don't sit down and lament Let compound interest do the rest In 10 15 years you will have all the politicians in your pocket then you can dictate to them. APRIDE: They are:
1) Resource control 2) Free and fair election in its true sense 3) True separation of power 1. Like I've been saying you don't even know what true federalism means. It's when each state or region is separate and has its own constitution. (aka sharia law in the north shows that this is what we have, y'all just too lazy to implement)where offense and punishment is different from the central constitution. Are you willing to fight and bleed and die for it.I don't think so. Elections are free and fair. Have you ever voted Have you ever attended party meeting or na dem say dem say you're taking as gospel truth. Do you understand concept of democracy at all or you think it's govt of the ppl for the ppl by the ppl nonsense. Now imagine I come to rolling booth with cutlass and 700 cowards run away, I am the majority cos it is one man one vote. Now imagine I come with my cutlass but 100 youth point 100 catapults, whose will do you think will prevail that day. 1 man 1 vote. Cowards not eligible. Abi you think say dem born anybody well to snatch ballot box in USA. With all those guns all over the place. Ask them in plateau state, army doesn't harass anybody again and there are no armed robbers cos everybody is strapped and ready to go. So elections are free and fair It is cowards who refuse to participate that look for excuses. 2. You don't need federalism for resource control.(militants can secure that, along with smart Nass members who simply need to bribe other mass members to vote in favor of resource control) Federalism does not assure resource control either. (other reigns can still colonise your resources if you're too cowardly or ignorant to fight back,) 3. Powers are separated but hunger has made legislature and judiciary to sell their birthright for mashed beans not even pottage |

2. I want my state governor to have control of the security of my state to a certain extent.
