tonyimadu: Mathematically, its very true but it would take good farm practice and great marketing to accomplish. with 2000 orange trees producing more than 500 fruits per season you would get a million fruits. At N10 a fruit you would be hitting 10mil. So it is possible but it would require great work and planing. Don't just plant and go to bed. decide on the variety, prepare against diseases. Maintain and irrigate. Then market early and aggressively 200 trees at 7 by 7 m spacing per hectare |

FILEBE: Oh oh. Mikolo80. . I can say the same, nothing good can come out of APC. I would have thought you to be an APC fan if you had not spoken against Ambode. Glad to know you are not partial. But you are still getting it wrong, so it seems. Let me summarize that Atiku and Buhari should not be an option for the presidency let's see what other parties have for us and we choose wisely. Jonathan and Obj are incomparable. While one is soft, listens to people and tries to please them all(a mistake) , the other is strick and enforces his rules. Obj would have been Nigeria's best president but he didn't do much to salvage Nigeria's situation even after 8 yrs. Presidency is not limited to APC and PDP let's vote for the best man. correction 2 good things came out of APC Jonathan and PDP were removed and power of incumbency has been demystified I don't mind another president so long as its not PDP cos if they ever get into power they will never allow an unrigged election again. Again none of the other parties have candidates that can win. They lack money They lack name recognition They lack ideas They lack conviction All useless from Chris OKotie to uTomi to gani to Soyinka Brilliant in their fields Useless in politics or economics |

We are not a two party system so why base the election on both? intention is not the same .even Jonathan and obj wanted to make a difference. And ppl can tell who is serious and who isn't. Politics › Re: An Initiative For A Better Nigeria!! by mikolo80: 4:42pm On Dec 25, 2017 |
Oluwapresley: Nigeria - It’s time for Our Generation! Generation wen de pop champagne in midst of poverty instead of entering farm I have been silent about Nigeria because rather than add another layer of talk to the available debates E never pepper you properly Shebi you Don chop Beleful , I have been spending time working and thinking about practical things that my generation can do to make Nigeria better. I have also been observing a few laudable initiatives from a few people, and I think it’s time! Good for you Don’t get me wrong, it’s not time for us to run for President Sad but true Although I think we should for the fun of it If Jonathan or yaradua can win them anything is possible , except of course we want to add trying to be president to our curriculum vitae. Outside of this, if we really want to make a practical stab at statesmanship and lending our skills and talents to the polity, it would be by being practical and serious.
In 2011, I went around Nigeria campaigning for a ticket I believed in. I campaigned for people to get PVC, I became a mobile registration centre for party membership for a party in Nigeria. I even got involved in helping to set up a political party. I took my own personal funds, canvassed with my friends to do the same, and travelled around Nigeria meeting with different communities, going to churches and visiting mosques to convince and show support for a ticket I believed in. I traveled by road and by air. I printed fliers, printed a brochure, and committed no less than the energy of business to this enterprise. I spent and I was spent. I didn’t want anything in return, This is why you failed I only wanted to play my part in a Nigeria that works. It is working.... the way we deserve The ticket did not win in 2011, but Buhari would not have been an option in 2015 if not for the efforts we put in in 2011. Na lie He was only option after Jonathan failed woefully He would not have a Pastor as His vice if not for the effort we put in 2011 He has pastor because we carry religion for head . I remember the call that Debola put across to me in 2015 when they were getting set to endorse and support Buhari’s candidacy. What we did back then was real, and the people we rallied to make it happen are alive. 2011 and 2015 were our years to serve those who will serve, our time to serve the people is here!
Demographically, Nigeria has more people under 35 than above it. The generation of middle age people are in the majority, but politics is not just a game of numbers, it’s in strategic numbers. When 6 lions totally disorient a herd of 3,000 buffalo’s it’s not about the numbers, it’s about the strategy, the synergy, and the proactive thought that goes on before the encounter. If my generation will ever serve this nation, and use all the endowments we have to further her cause we must be strategic. Now you're talking my language Here is what I believe we need to do!
I believe we need to run for elective offices. We need 50 Nigerians under 50 from different cities in Nigeria and with different faiths who have interest in a New Nigeria and in it’s leadership. These should be 50 people with the following qualifications I think we should just form new party gabadaya 130,000 ppl (1 per voting booth) 1. Solid profile - People who have actually demonstrated that they can solve problems, provide leadership and show enough personal mastery to be given responsibility for others. Who will judge the solidity of the profile This is how classIsm starts Youo con gada gra pipo con ignore rural pipo 2. Sustainable - People who are able to sustain themselves, and their families, and do not need to be in government to be sustained. It must not be about the rewards of office, these people must have transcended food, shelter and clothing. Most governors were sustainable yet greed no o gree Tis human nature 3. Followership - People who can schedule a meeting and 1,000 people will show up. Item number 7all you need 4. Interest - People who have done some things in the past that shows that they have interest in Nigeria and in its leadership. Nobody is intereste That's why we up sheetscreek Human nature My desire is if we can find 4 of these people from every state in Nigeria, we can organize them together in such a way that they can leverage on each others influences, provide support in exchange for support from key officers running for elective offices in 2019. These people can run for State Assembly or National Assembly positions now and in 2023. At the end of all the shuffling and stepping aside, we can be left with 50 solid Nigerians under the age of 50, who can begin to make their entry into the political terrain. Doing this for 2019 will be rehearsals, we can’t expect anything really other than the people we each support winning, but if we get a few offices in, in 2019, that would be amazing. You don't even have confidence in your plan What if one of these youths pops is a billionaire Why can't he win If we can get together these types of people, I daresay, we can get the President to meet with them, get a few Governors to address them and show them some ropes You expect devils to show you how to beat them . We can get them to begin to work on policy ideas and agenda that they will push in the house, way ahead of their being there. If we can have good representation in the Legislature we would be the backbone of any serious executive. We have seen first hand, that presidency alone will not move Nigeria forward. You've seen a week presidency We need to evolve the Nation we want by bombarding it purposefully from every side. Yes we do Economically Politically Socially But mostly economically All man should enter farm Mobilise Then buy politicians Do you have people you will like to nominate for this 50 under 50 conference? Why not simply offer us their names, why you think they are qualified based on the 4 requirements above and, I am sorry for now - their state of origin. I nominate me and you Why are we always nominating ppl to run our ideas Since primary school Always abdicating responsibility Now realising nobody will care for you like you Please submit them here publicly on facebook or fill their names privately in this form. https:///TXriZ9 After nominating and them no gree nko You go force dem? Please feel free to SHARE this on your page, and get your friends to fill this form. Success would be having enough contenders from each state of Nigeria.
This plan obviously doesn’t cover all elements but we must begin to act rather than theorize. Questions like which party All parties , how will it work? Figure it out as we go along Won’t they be infiltrated? Infiltrate them right back These are very good questions, but what I have learnt from business and a little politics is if we don’t venture, we never learn. Nothing risked nothing gained So let’s get on the ship, learn from those who have gone ahead, solve the challenges on the way and at the end, deliver the Nigeria of our dreams. To this I pledge. Do you?
https:///TXriZ9 I do |
