Good Day N'Ls..
Finally, I fixed the bike I bought last week. Driving my okada today and I was able to raise about 3k!

While riding under the hot sun, I was flagged down by this tall well looking, fair guy.. He told me his location and we agreed for transfer, he's to pay me 200 naira.

While on trans, he told me we should branch an eatery, he needs to get something for himself.

Baba went inside after I packed the bike, came out with 3 meatpile.

All of a sudden, He gave me 1meat-pie! Claiming he loves the way I drive.

We got to our destination, immediately a boy of about 10years+ came to him and whispered something to him, immediately he became uncomfortable.

He asked me to give him 2k cash that he'll transfer it to me with my okada money and that it's a matter of life and death.

I gave this guy and he ran into a compound, though he told me he'll be back in right now.

I'm still there and is more than an hour and bros is no where to be found.

I'm at home now thinking about my loss of 2500, this life sha..

I don't want to overflog this issue. The people who have been talking about Pi on this thread haven't really done justice. Let me do that.

I read their WP about a year ago. The primary purpose of the coin is to serve as a medium of exchange for goods and services within the Pi Ecosystem not as another crypto project that will be traded on exchanges. Unfortunately, not everyone understands the project but the coins being mined currently will be used to make purchases within the ecosystem that's the reason why the just concluded Pi Hackathon where hundreds of developers developed ecosystem and business apps which the 25+million miners will bootstrap the economy by using their mined coins as a medium of exchange was created. A lot of progress has been and is being made.

Secondly, it has been clearly stated that it is up to the exchanges to list the coin at mainnet. It's not the focus of the Core Team since there wouldn't be any ICO or presale. Those who will decide to trade their coins on exchanges will loose out because that isn't the idea behind the project. It's those that spend within that would profit.

Finally, I started mining about a year ago because of the Hackathon as I am part of a team developing an app that would link buyers n sellers across the agric value chain. So far so good. People from the Netherlands, India, Nigeria and some other African countries are already signing up to be part of the project. Without over 25million active people onboard, I don't see why the project wouldn't be a success.
.

So many ignorant and quick money thinking people don't understand what Pi is all about
Pi won't b listed on any exchange

16. Don't promote shady investments like betting, HYIP, MLM, FOREX, binary options, and cryptocurrencies on Nairaland.

I will like to bring to the notice the inclusion of Cryptos as a shady investment by the crew of NAIRALAND.
As a forum greatly patronized by informed minds the submission by the team to tagg Crypto currency as one example of shady investment is unfounded, unjust and very myopic.
It is without any doubt that Crypto/blockchain which started as an idea way back in the 70s is now the wave of the world and less than 20years from now paper currencies will be irrelevant, for the NAIRALAND team to say they don't where digital payment is driving to globally is abominable.
The advantages of this monetary phenomenon far outweighs any negatives of it, I will urge the NAIRALAND team who I believe are IT and digital savy without any further ado remove the fallacious tagg labelled on Cryptos in rule 16

Old women are being raped by teenagers
Toddlers are being raped by adults
Wives are being raped everyday...
But for you is to specifically assumed that indecent dressing by women is the major cause, are you being fair or u just want to satisfy the masculine folks?
If you can't blame male superior complex, drugs, badly brought up male children and the general society but you feel the female dressing is the root cause, I wish you well
Religion / Re: How We Can Curb Sexual Immorality In Our Society by mildflame: 12:57pm On May 03, 2020
OkpanachiMax:
Treating sexual immorality in general in which fornication(premarital sex), adultery(extra-marital sex), masturbation, pornography etc are included.

Human sexuality is so explicit and complex that we need to deal with it from within. Indecent dressing live on the street and on social media is the greatest influence of these things.

Also the evolution of adult film industry sealed the fate of mankind. Man for instance was created with a constant sexual feeling, this sexual feeling is low when there is no erotic image and high when there is, so in order to suppress this feeling, we need to minimize our activities on social media, we need to sensitize the female to dress decently if not we will all rot in hell with our religious sentimentality because 95% of youths are guilty of this.

NB: It is not easy to preach what you are guilty of if you have a strong conscience

Feel free to add your own contributions

For you to assume that indecent dressing is the greatest influence for the cause, shows that you are problem

Politics / Re: Is Nigeria Rich Or Poor, Lets Find Out.. by mildflame: 9:57am On Apr 26, 2020
jumper524:
Note: calculation are done before the covid 19 pandemic issues.

Going by reports, Nigeria relies heavily on oil as its major source of income with oil producing atleast 70% of the countries income.

Below is the mathematical analysis of the country's income

Nigeria produces an average of 2.5million barrel of crude oil daily @ $65 per barrel

Now let's do the maths

2,500,000*$65 = $162,500,000

Nigeria has a population of 180million
Meaning

$163,500,000÷180,000,000 = $0.903 approximately.

Multiply that by the exchange rate of #360

360*0.903= 325per head.

Multiply that figure by 30days we have in a month.

#335*30 = #9750

Now let's assume oil generates 50% of our income which for sure is more than.

We get 9750*2 = 19,500

19, 500 per individual is what we make monthly

Now how you work to make your money is sourounded by this mathematics.
If your earning slightly higher than that somebody is slightly earning lesser.
If your earning much higher, somebody is earning much lesser. Overall the average wealth of the Nation is too poor.

Meaning we have an under-productive population.

Saudi with a population of less than 40million produces over 10million barrel of oil per day. (More funds, less liability).

Conclusion: corruption is a major economic issue in Nigeria but underproductivity is a bigger challenge..
.

Bro Nigeria is too rich to be poor and too poor to be rich
