Oga i get your point, but I'm not 'disshing' religion. It's about values. The two societies has nothing in common and one is dragging the other in the mire of stagnation for almost a century. That's my anger. Sorry again for the outburst.
Not just religion. Its our societal mentality. See the kind of thing we are doing in the 21st century. Look at this

The Igbo society is a democratic one, and it was thriving before the crazed ova sabi British imperialist chained it to the demonic, parasitic, blood thirsty, mass bombing murderous Hausa-Fulani northerners. Apologies for the outbursts.
Uncle, were the gods not blood thirsty before the white men came? Do you know how many family lines were ended through sacrifices in Igbo land? No be today we don dey shed blood, don't play tribalism in this matter. Most tribes are guilty, if not all.

They introduced the very corruption that's holding Africa back through their numerous divide and rule tactics. They did more damage than good.
Please don't talk about corruption. We were already pros long before the white men came to our land. We slaughtered our brothers for land, ripped widows of their husband's properties and gave them the water used to wash bodies to drink in the name of tradition, offered our children to stones and wood, slaughtered twins and called them devils. Mirrors are a little more amusing than stones, so we didn't waste time to give our brothers, sisters and children to be slaves so we can see our reflection and marvel at it.

Democracy is not suitable for Africa. It has made things worse, much worse.

There are many countries doing very great without democracy. Why must we practice what is alien to us? See what the most expensive form of government has done to our dear nation! Corruption, division, hatred, bigotry, deceit, killing and maiming all because of political positions.

Na God go punish the colonial masters. Dem for leave us to our varous traditional monarchical systems. We will have found our ways to greatness naturally.
Yeah, right. Like we would have found it any time soon. These Europeans developed themselves until they came to meet us doing the same thing we had been doing since we and them were societal mates. They have shown us the way and we still prefer the bush.

Nice one smiley.... The use of steam engines laid the foundation for the industrial revolution which led to colonization, the world wars, the cold war, the birth of the internet and, thus, the eventual emergence of the world powers, as it is today....

Now, as regards the use of smartphones, it is laying the foundation for another wave of advancement in human history, the smartphone is becoming more than just a mere tool for calls and text messaging, its becoming beyond that..... hope you get my point wink
Oh I get what you meant now. We are indeed entering a new phase in history.

Uh, what? We once used steam engines, now we use petrol engines. Did we (humans) or our application of scientific knowledge (technology) evolve?

So Tafawa Balewa can't buy anything in this country right now. He is just used for change. I remember when Lord Lugard used to buy me 'aya'. Now the guy is of no use. Alvan Ikoku is just holding on for dear life, as he can only buy pure water. Murtala Moh'd is for detergents now. But the guy can't wash white because he can't buy So Klin. Wazobia can't buy Indomie anymore without help. Murtala or Ikoku has to be involved. Awolowo is just looking at us. He can only buy recharge cards and cup of rice, despite being the leader of the Western region. Ahmadu Bello is now recharge card for average big boys and girls. The guy was smiling in notes from previous years. In new prints he is doing the 'SMH' pose. He can't even buy you regular Richfull or Victan singlet. Azikiwe that used to feel like a boss can't even afford one mudu of rice now. He has to go with Saduana or Awolowo before he can buy boxers. Zik that could walk into a store a grab half carton of small indomie, mtcheew! Clement Isong is just furious! He can't get you anything on his own. He needs help before he can blink. He can't even get you a t-shirt self. Heck! He can't even buy 3 in 1 boxers from them Aboki guys. They be like '3 in 1 boxers? Albarka Clement!' The worst part is before you can get his squad members of equivalent value, you have to give up Ahmadu Bello for something pretty useless. Try taking him to a bike man and see. One carton of small indomie is now bigger than Clement and Zik combined, imagine! Ahmadu Bello is hissing because one mudu of garri will soon be too heavy for him alone. 'The labours of our heroes past shall never be in vain' and Balewa can't even lick lollipop or buy pencil. Change begins with Tafawa Balewa too o. Na wa o. Benji Franklin and his friends are just laughing at Clement Isong and his squad.

grin I watched the video sometime earlier this week and thought, "I hope no one will lack so much humor to think that this is for real", now look! To all those looking to foster the space race and science and all those mathematical barbie fans and physics teletubbies who are convinced that they know more than God, look at the what your fellow humans are doing. Did we evolve into outright stupidity? Did 'nature' decide to manufacture stupid humans? Repent of your funny philosophies. If you like to disprove God so much, at least don't bring up ridiculous alternatives, if you can help it. grin

This is one reason I detest this stupid attitude by Nigerians.

You churn out some advice for someone who needs it cos he don't see all angles. Friends do that. But you'll see Nigerians come around to say crap like commenters above me. Why must an advice look like bad belle? Why can't an artiste use a word of advice or two? Why must such be termed a hater? is/are advices now better seen as 'setbacks to a budding career'?

This haters trend gat to stop please. We know haters when we see one, but fans should stop this crap called the haters have arrived. ain't helping one bit abeg.
Those words didn't look like advice to me. See how he was roasting other celebrities to buttress his point. Sure he said things about the management's rigidity in terms of press relations but why slaughter...just forget sef.

We all need one or two to watch our back abeg.

I can see some of y'all are supporting her. What she did was utterly ridiculous! Safarigirl said that if it was a guy, the OP would not post this online. Seriously sad. A guy will me another random guy online then ask him for airtime. 2 days later, he is asking for 25k? *in Vector's voice* What's that?! Asking her for sex was plain flirting. All she had to do was refuse. Then she starts insulting the OP. That's where I gave up on feeling any sort of remorse for her

ARE YOU BLIND? I insulted him?, sorry bro but you are ridiculous. You didn't read when he termed me a hypocrite because I told him the truth. Please and please, don't start.
No, I am not blind. Be calm bro, I am a fellow Christian and I am not trying to pick a fight with you. Being called a hypocrite is not being insulted. A hypocrite is a person who doesn't stand by his word, who claims to believe one thing and then follows another. When Peter was eating with gentiles and Paul came with other Jews, he refrained. That was hypocrisy. Paul rebuked him and he repented. Jesus called the Pharisees hypocrites multiple times, not to insult them but to make them check themselves. That is why I said nothing about him 'insulting' you. All you had to do was be sure you aren't one and tell him you are not one, rather than insult him and buttress his point.
