This question was asked on quora.com. Most of the companies mentioned were victims of the dot.com bubble burst, so their predicament is quite understandable. However, this particular answer was just hilarious. The company was to take Uber head on. They had the resources, but then... The most hilarious one is definitely Karhoo. ![]() Meanwhile I am waiting for Silicon Valley Season 5 ![]() https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-all-time-greatest-failed-Internet-startup |

When prompted, name the file ".nomedia" and that's it. Take note of the "." It hides all kinds of files. I hope you are hiding government files or company projects sha... |
2 Timothy 3:1-... 1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. 10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. All the non Christians here that are persecuting Christians in the name of Islam, atheism, 'logical' reasoning, etcetera, know it that you are part of it all. For what Christian does not face persecution. St. Paul was a killer of Christians before God called him, and changed him radically. Fellow Christians, don't feel bad when you are 'attacked' for faith's sake. God is our focus, not persecution. On the topic itself, globalization has blurred out the boundaries of sin. What used to be abominations, that were not even spoken of in our families, are now glorified in our movies and all other forms of entertainment. The impact of movies such as 'Hangover' on global morales go undetected, but in this age, there is a constant supply of demoralizing content everywhere, such as have never been seen in the world before. Hence the increase in practice of a double standard life. But he that holds on to the end shall be saved. If you are suffering from consistent temptation, talk to God about it. You may seem to be getting deeper and deeper, but God is a rewarder of they that diligently seek Him. Even the most righteous falls seven times, but gets back up. "Don't give up on God, 'cos He won't give up on you. He's able!" Peace... |

opey25:You could export your contacts to your Gmail account. Open 'Contacts' on the Z10, check the options list for 'Export' or something like that. Export to mail. Then on your new phone, go to your contacts. On the options list, select import, from mail. Log into the same gmail account and voila! Please note that you need data connection to do this. Tell me if it was helpful. |

Realhommie:Appropriation in a subject like marriage should not be joked with. Should one conduct a wedding on video chat? I believe if a man really desires to have a woman as his wife, he should be man enough to ask her physically. It creates the memory, builds the relationship, strengths the love, e.t.c. Different strokes for different folks. If anybody thinks its good for them... *shrugs_shoulders* |
LXStudio:You just folded a company you haven't even started . I read about photogrammetry, and it will cost a lot for such a project as the NFS type. But I don't know any great company that started out with all those complex gear and staff. Most times, a couple of guys do something incredible, develop a small 'cult' of customers, then investors, then BOOM: Sales, marketing, H.R and everything. Check on Rovio, the company that made Angry Birds. Also, watch Silicon Valley and see what excess capital can do to a startup. I saw a post where someone used a Samsung Galaxy S6 for a simple photogrammetry project. Of course, you can't scan Abuja with it but it could be the concept for something larger (cc: Elon Musk's fundamental principles approach) Cheers. You educated me today, I appreciate it. |
Truckpusher:But shy people have been proposing before Whatsapp was invented. Asking a lady out on Whatsapp can be managed but a marriage proposal? People even shut down restaurants to do it. Who will say yes to a Whatsapp marriage proposal? How about the ring? |
400k? See film ![]() |
Bad move, very bad move |
Who proposes on Whatsapp abeg? Who does that? |
AAinEqGuinea:The Windows Phone market has already collapsed. "A good name is better than riches". It is already a failed project. Talk about MMM. No amount of rebranding (that would be cost effective. Heck even if they use cash excessively...) can fix MMM back into the financial market as a dominating institution. Steve Jobs performed a miracle with Apple when he was called back. But there was only one Steve. He brought his new company (Next computers) which already had a growing market, back into Apple and that saved them from total disaster. Even Google has failed projects too. Microsoft has always been an aggressive competitor, they are not just used to loosing. |
