Cryomancer: Since when did kidnappers start moving around with only bullets and I.D cards, is it matches they want to use in shooting the bullets or what?..........Never believe the words of the Nigerian Police... I won't be surprised if those guys are mere victims of be being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If you've never been harassed by the police before, you won't believe nor understand what i just typed up there. Lots of people have been framed by the Nigeria police for a crime they know nothing about simply because they can't afford to bribe the police.
Only expressing your disappointment.
Expecting to see Fulani herdsmen but unfortunately these ones are Igbo herdsmen.
Anybody who says there is no Islamic Agenda Is not wise Why do you think Colonel Nwobosi who killed Akintola is still Following Nnamdi Kanu and His Biafra Agitations. Many people don't know how popular IPOB is Some may call it a scam or anything But it's not Of Course the Igbos would lose much profit Especially those who do business in the North but the Advantages is numerous. The Jihad is still on and it can be seen Through Boko Haram,Shittes etc. Even Ojukwu told Uwazurike to make sure Biafra is restored. The Best thing for Igbos is to Seek Secession. The reasons for the 1966 Coup is still there And it can be seen today Through Corruption, Nepotism, religion etc. A time would come when Oil would be Useless That's why I advise those who call themselves South South. Enugu before was once better than Port Harcourt Due to Coal but it's not the case today As long as the Igbos continue in their Apprenticeship system They can never go broke. I only Pity the North all the problems happening In their region will soon fall on them By 2040 poverty rate in the North. Would be at full length
Do you want to open an old wound? You are proud that your IPOB brother (Colonel Nwobosi) killed Akintola. I have always said it that most of your Ipob members are either arrogant or lack common sense or even both.

Flashyoil1: Elder statesman, Tanko Yakasai, on Monday criticized former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, describing his open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari as selfish and unpatriotic, the Nation reports.
Reacting to Obasanjo’s letter to Buhari dated July 15, Yakasai said: “I don’t see patriotism in General Obasanjo’s letters.
“In fact, all the letters written by General Obasanjo to all Military Heads of State and Presidents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are not guided by patriotic considerations.”
According to him, “My experience with Nigerian political situation is that the top echelons of the Military are always fighting one another, either when in the service or when on retirement.
“It is from this angle that I always view most of the writings of General Olusegun Obasanjo to any military officer who is a Head of State or President in Nigeria as unpatriotic.
“Even the ones he wrote to former Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and the late Umar Musa Yar’Adua were not patriotic. They were guided by selfish interest.”
Yakasai further stated: “General Obasanjo did it during Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida’s era. He did it during the late General Sani Abacha’s regime, which later resulted to accusations that he was trying to overthrow the government, which eventually led to his imprisonment.
“General Olusegun Obasanjo also wrote a number of letters during General Abdulsalami Abubakar’s regime and he is still writing letters in this current presidency of General Muhammadu Buhari.
“So, this attitude of writing unpatriotic letters has been part of General Olusegun Obasanjo.”
Me, I can never take that Otta farmer serious again. Obasanjo is so selfish, He only pursue his personal ego/interest.
He currently has personal issues with Buhari. By the time he settles with him, he will forget and start singing another tune. His issues with Atiku is still fresh on my mind. He said more damaging thing (he even wrote a book) about Atiku. But today...………...
midolian: Tinubu is right to have mentioned that bastard Evans! Why are the Igbos quick to point fingers at the herdsmen whenever a crime is committed?
The fulanis don't have time wasting, hating on you Igbos.
To hell with whoever isn't pleased with my comment!
The herdsmen are everywhere. Take it or leave it.
The herdsmen are the ones also dealing in hard drugs and other crimes in Indonesia, Indian, South Africa and other foreign countries.
Instead of them to contribute positively in addressing the high crime rate in this country, the are hating on a single ethnic nation.
silverbirdng: Some police officers deployed to curb kidnapping along the now dreaded Ife-Ibadan hightway, South-west Nigeria, were on Monday caught extorting motorists.
The policemen stationed at the outskirt of Ibadan, Ikire, Gbongan and Ile-Ife demanded bribe from the driver of the vehicle conveying this reporter and 17 other passengers on Monday evening.
Some of the motorists who earlier spoke with Us confirmed the habitual extortion by officers adding that these have heightened now with additional road blocks mounted along the road.
While the police officers in the outskirts of Ibadan and Ikire collected the naira notes discreetly without questioning the driver, the ones at Gbongan and Ile-Ife did not.
An officer at Gbongan, with the inscription Akosoba A on his uniform, collected a 100-naira note from the driver and gave a change of fifty naira.
Also, a policeman in Ile-Ife, who appeared in a camouflage, instructed the motorist to park for raising a question, but changed his mind after a fifty-naira note was slid into his hands.
chrisxxx: Nkpolu Rumuigbo Nkpolu by interpretation means hill top .Geographically, Nkpolu Rumuigbo Junction is situated at a strategic place that is economically useful in terms of road network .
Beyond that,Nkpolu Rumuigbo Junction is a place where four ways meet. From Nkpolu Rumuigbo Junction you can access other part of Port Harcourt including ,Rumuala, GRA ,Port Harcourt LGA via Obi Wali Road.
You can also access the International Airport through Nkpolu/Rumuagholu/SARS Road .
The popular University of Port Harcourt and University Teaching Hospital can be access through the East/West Road .
From this same junction ,you can access Rumuokoro to other part of Port Harcourt including Onne Oil and Gas Sea Port.
Remember Nkpolu means hill top ,you will agree with me that, that is supposed to be the true position. Of course it was a place to identify with until early last year when the place got flooded.
Today Nkpolu Rumuigbo has become a valley of water and sometimes in the news it is called valley of blood as it were. This blood shed Must Stop!.
Looking at the flooding at Nkpolu Rumuigbo junction, no doubt ,few individuals may have contributed to the flooding by blocking water ways, some of them with government connections perhaps .
But we know that Government is for the people and not for individuals. Why then do we live as though we don’t have a government that is of the people.
What wrong has Nkpolu man or Nkpolu Rumuigbo as a community done to the Federal, State and Local Government that cannot be forgiven? Is the reproach not enough? People source of living are grounded for almost 2years, property, goods and cars destroyed on daily basis .What about the man hour loss?Think about the souls that have gone as a result of the flooding.
I also don't want to believe that the shooting & killing on Tuesday was to intimidate the community from any further cry against the abandonment of the failed part of Nkpolu Rumuigbo Road and failed part of the East/West Road?
However, it has become more worrisome that we have the former Super Minister of Transportation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Rt.Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi and back home here we have Mr Project, the working Governor of Rivers State Chief Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike not to talk of our representatives at the National Assemblies and State Assembly.
These two men, the former minister and the Governor of the State are men of capacity. Both of them have carried out Federal Project as Governor and as Chief of Staff unanimously.
At the present, the Governor has carried out projects worth billions of Naira successfully.
In conclusion, Nkpolu Rumuigbo Junction and Nkpolu Rumuigbo Road is not a difficult thing for the Governor, Mr project to handle.
Dear Governor ,Mr Project ,this is part of your community, Nkpolu Rumuigbo in Apara Kingdom. I Am sure you are not taking pleasure in your people's plight, the excruciating pains and sufferings .
The Mr Project I know will at this critical point rise up to the occasion not minding the limited fund available or any hindrance and work towards delivering dividends of democracy to his people ,the Nkpolu Rumumigbo like you have always done. Thank you sir, this is with utmost anticipation.
#We Stand For Justice #WeStandForPeace
-Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria -Long Live River State -Long Live Obio/Akpor -Long Live Nkpolu Rumuigbo
Somebody should call the attention of Mr. Project immediately.
tuniski: They are far more brainy and advanced than you are! The petitioner is steadily building the ground for cancellation of the results of Katsina yet, you can't see in your elementary thoughts.
Building ground for cancellation of the result?
Is this how you reason? let us wait patiently for the judgement of the tribunal.
Dorischuks: The State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Katsina State, Salisu Maijigiri, told the Presidential Election Tribunal, on Tuesday, that his party’s presidential candidate in the February 23 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, defeated President Muhammadu Buhari, in the state.
Katsina is Buhari’s home state.
Atiku and his party, are by their petition filed before the five-man tribunal led by Justice Mohammed Garba, challenging the victory of Buhari and the All Progressives Congress at the poll
The petitioners, at the Day 4 of the presentation of their case on Tuesday, called as their eighth witness, Maijigiri, who said he served as the party’s collation agent in the state for the presidential election in Katsina State.
Under cross-examination, by respondents’ lawyers, Maijigiri said contrary to the results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the results collated by his party in the state showed that APC polled 872,000 while PDP scored 905,000.
The results INEC declared for the state, however, showed that PDP polled 160,203 votes while the APC polled 1,505,633.
Contradicting INEC’s results, Maijigiri said,”We (PDP) are the one who won the election not APC.
“APC scored 872,000 and PDP scored, 905,000.
“These are our own results, we collated in our state not the ones from the server.”
Both Atiku and PDP not prepared for this tribunal. I think their only strategy to win is the Server and since it is not working, they are just making up.
How can you come to tribunal to say PDP had round figure of 905,000 and APC 875,000 (another round figure). How about the other political parties?
Note that result announced by INEC is APC 1,232,133 PDP 308,056 and other parties 3115. Accredited voters = 1,628,865 and valid votes = 1,555,473.
If you add up 905,000 and 872,000 given by Katsina PDP chairman, you will have 1,777,000 higher than both accredited voters and valid votes.
You can only win at tribunal by presenting verifiable evidences and not by permutation and making up figures.
joseph6071: Reno Omokri on his Twitter page uploaded a video of the moment the Speaker of the House of Representative, Gbajabiamila bowed to Bola Tinubu.
He wrote...
"Video of Speaker Gbajabiamila bowing to Bola @AsiwajuTinubu in Lagos. Somehow, I do not think Nigeria will have an Independent Legislature with a Deputy @NGRSenate President who kneels down to General Buhari and a @HouseNGR Speaker who bows to Tinubu #FreeLeahSharibu #RenosDarts"
Tinubu is ten years older than Gbaja. In their culture, that is how you greet your elders. If that is not the case where you come from, then you do not expect other tribes to be disrespectful like you and your people.
Moreover, the visit has nothing to do with his function as Speaker of the House. If the Tinubu is invited to the house in session, he will definitely bow to Gbaja as the speaker of the house.
What kind of upbringing do you want give to your Children? To disrespect elders because of their position?
Muttee: Business executive, Tonye Cole narrated an incident he witnessed on a plane between renowned writer Wole Soyinka and a Nigerian man.
Tonye Cole said Mr Wole Soyinka got on the plane and took the window seat. When the young man assigned the seat boarded, he insisted Mr Soyinka leaves his seat. Others on the plane, including the crew members, begged the young man to let the Nobel Laureate have his seat. But the man insisted on sitting where he was assigned.
Mr Cole said this is an indication that our value system has been eroded and youths no longer have repect for elders. Ms Mo Abudu and Kate Henshaw commented, agreeing with him that the young man's behaviour was unacceptable.
Zikora1000: We will soon , we will soon, do something south west! I even heard they are planning to impose an emir in ile Ife and turn it to a caliphate
We already know the antics of you and your people from the "yeast" Add petrol to a burning fire so that it will consume everybody. The South West have a way of defending their territories and that will be done soon. If it is your Obi of Onitsha that will come impose emir in Ife, let him go ahead.
Not only criminal herdsmen will be wiped out but all criminal elements in the South West.

Residents of Alcon area of Woji in Port Harcourt are now living in fear due to the menace of Robbers who now rob houses every night. The Robbers usually operates within 1 am to 3 am. They go about with sledgehammers and no matter how strong the protective metal door; they will pull it down within minutes. As soon as they gain access to the house, they attack victims with machetes. They carry out their operations without fear of being caught, the thundering sound of breaking the door can be heard even if you are one kilometer away from the scene of the robbery. The sound of breaking the door is so loud and fearful that everyone within the area wakes up and start praying that your house will not be their next target.
In all the incidences, you will call police control room they will tell you they are aware and have sent their men. You kept on calling the control room and they still tell you “our men are on their way” they sometime lie to you that their men are already at the scene of the robbery. But few minutes after the robbers must have left the scene, you will see them and the only questions they are ask is: “what did they steal? How much did they steal? If you want to compound your problems, go to the police station to make a formal report.
I think there is a serious problem with Woji Estate police unit. Its either that they lack adequate personnel or logistics to combat crime in Woji area. Other Police units or areas will have arrested the situation by now because this robbery has been going since last year – it is same pattern of operation, same time of operation and almost on weekly basis.
RIVERS STATE POLICE COMMAND SHOULD RESCUE RESIDENTS OF ALCON - WOJI

He has already accepted on behalf of PDP that whoever APC present in 2023 will win. If truly the APC want to present a candidate from the North in 2023, will that not make it easy for PDP to win? Or is PDP also planning to field a candidate from the North? May be Atiku again.
